Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 294 Controlling Magic Power
"Harry," Hermione whispered, "I think we need to take our plans a step further. I've noticed someone has been watching us lately."
Harry frowned, feeling uneasy. "Are you sure? Who is spying on us?"
Hermione shook her head, her eyes full of worry. "I'm not sure yet, but we must be more careful. I suggest that we try to reduce individual actions and do more group activities, so that we can better protect each other."
Harry nodded and agreed to her suggestion. They decided to stay together as much as possible in the next few days so that they could look out for each other in case of danger.
Sure enough, a few days later, they found clues during a night patrol. In a remote corridor of Hogwarts, they saw a dark shadow flashing. Harry signaled Hermione and Ron to follow, and they carefully followed the dark shadow and finally stopped it in a corner.
"Who are you and why are you spying on us?" Harry asked sharply, his wand tightly gripped in his hand, ready to respond to an attack at any time.
The shadow did not answer, but turned around and tried to escape. Harry and Hermione quickly caught up, and Ron trapped it with a binding spell. The three of them approached and found that the shadow was actually a strange wizard they had never seen before.
"Who are you? Why are you following us?" Hermione asked again, with a hint of threat in her tone.
The wizard finally spoke, with a hint of fear in his voice. "I was just sent here to spy on you. I don't know anything more, really."
Harry and Hermione looked at each other, their hearts full of doubts and worries. They knew that there must be a bigger conspiracy waiting for them, and this wizard was just a small character.
"Take him to see Dumbledore." Harry made up his mind, "We need to find out the truth behind this."
Harry, Hermione and Ron took the mysterious wizard to Dumbledore's office, where Dumbledore was listening carefully to their report. Harry felt nervous and uneasy, but he knew that this step was the key to their understanding of the conspiracy behind it.
Dumbledore stared at the bound wizard, his eyes gleaming with wisdom. "Do you know what you are doing in Hogwarts?" His voice was gentle but with a hint of severity.
The wizard lowered his head, not daring to look Dumbledore in the eye. "I was just following orders and keeping an eye on them... I really don't know anything more."
Dumbledore nodded, then turned to Harry, Hermione, and Ron. "You did a good job bringing him here. I will look further into his background to see if I can find any clues."
Harry breathed a sigh of relief, but he knew that things were far from over. He decided to use this time to improve his magical abilities, especially the power of his wand. After all, when facing unknown enemies, powerful magic is the best defense.
In the next few days, Harry would take time out every day to come to the open space on the edge of the Forbidden Forest to practice magic. It was a perfect place for training, quiet and secret. He knew that only by constantly improving his magic skills could he better protect himself and his friends.
One morning, Harry came to the open space alone and started his new round of training. He closed his eyes, concentrated, and tried to put all his mental strength into the wand. He recited a spell, and the tip of the wand flashed a dazzling light, but then disappeared. He frowned, knowing that his strength was not focused enough.
"Focus, Harry, you need to focus more," he whispered to himself, trying to encourage himself.
Trying again, Harry took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. He felt the magic in the wand surging and tried to establish a deeper connection with it. This time, the light of the wand became more stable and lasted longer.
Just as he was immersed in his practice, he suddenly heard a familiar voice behind him. "Harry, what are you practicing?"
Harry looked back and found Hermione standing not far away, looking at him with a smile, with encouragement and concern in her eyes.
"I'm practicing the power of my wand." Harry explained, "I feel I need to become stronger to cope with the next challenge."
Hermione took a few steps closer and watched him practice carefully. "You've done very well, Harry. With more patience and practice, you will be able to master this power better."
"Thank you, Hermione." Harry smiled gratefully, "With your support, I feel more confident."
Hermione nodded, then she took out a thick magic book from her bag and handed it to Harry. "I found this in the library. It contains some advanced magic spells and techniques. I thought you might be able to use it."
Harry took the book and felt a warm sensation. He knew that Hermione was always so considerate and always knew what he needed. "Thank you, Hermione. I will make good use of this book."
They continued to practice in the open space, with Hermione guiding Harry with her vast knowledge and experience. With each spell, with each swing of the wand, they were constantly adjusting and improving. As time went on, Harry's magical abilities improved significantly, and he felt his connection with the wand getting deeper and deeper, and that power became more stable and powerful.
One night, Harry was reading the book Hermione gave him in the common room, while Hermione and Ron were sitting beside him, discussing the results of today's training. Harry felt a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that he had never felt before, and he knew that his efforts were paying off.
"Harry," said Ron suddenly, "I've noticed that you're getting better and better in practice. Your wand is really getting stronger."
Harry smiled and nodded, "Thank you, Ron. I feel like I'm getting better at controlling my magic, but I still have a lot to learn."
Hermione chimed in, "We'll always be there for you to help you improve. After all, we're a team."
Harry felt warm, he knew that with such a friend around, any difficulties were no longer scary. The three of them worked together to face the challenges of the future, no matter how difficult it was, they would not back down.
As Harry's magical abilities continue to improve, he becomes more and more confident in the upcoming challenges. He knows that no matter how powerful the enemy is, as long as he keeps working hard, he can always find a way to defeat them. The future is still full of unknowns and dangers, but Harry is ready to meet everything with his own strength and wisdom.
As time went by, Harry felt that his magical ability became stronger, but he knew that in this complex magical world, relying solely on his own strength was far from enough.
