Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 310 Found their plan

"Harry, are you really determined to go?" Hermione asked worriedly, "This operation may be very dangerous."

"I know, but this is the only chance to find clues about the enemy," Harry said firmly, "I can't let Hogwarts be in danger all the time."

"We'll be here to support you," Ron patted Harry's shoulder, "We'll do our best to protect the school no matter what happens."

Harry nodded gratefully, then took a deep breath and prepared to meet the upcoming challenge. The next morning, he set out with Dumbledore, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall to a mysterious place to investigate the true identity of those dark wizards.

They rode on their brooms, flew over woods and mountains, and finally landed in a remote village. It seemed quiet and peaceful here, but Harry knew in his heart that this was only an appearance.

"We need to find an old wizard named Green. He may know some information about these dark wizards." Dumbledore whispered.

They walked into the village, through several narrow alleys, and finally stopped in front of a dilapidated house. Dumbledore knocked on the door, and after a moment, an old wizard with a wrinkled face opened it.

"Dumbledore, I didn't expect you to come to see me," Green's voice was hoarse and full of vigilance, "Come in."

Harry followed Dumbledore into the house and found that the furnishings inside were simple and old, and the walls were covered with all kinds of strange magic runes. Green motioned them to sit down, then lit an oil lamp, and the dim light illuminated his face.

"We need to know about the recent appearance of Dark wizards," Dumbledore said bluntly. "Do you have any clues?"

Green was silent for a moment, then slowly spoke: "There is indeed a group of dark wizards active recently, and their leader is called Murdoch. He is an extremely dangerous wizard with powerful dark magic power. It is said that he is planning a big conspiracy, and the target may be Hogwarts."

Harry felt a chill, which confirmed his previous suspicion. Murdoch's name gave him a sense of foreboding.

"Do you know where their base is?" Snape asked coldly.

"I only know that they have recently gathered in an abandoned castle. That is their temporary base," Green replied, "But you must be careful. It is full of traps and guards."

Dumbledore nodded, thanked Green, then turned to Harry and the other professors and said, "We must rush to that castle immediately. We can't let their plan succeed."

They boarded their brooms again and flew towards the abandoned castle that Green had mentioned. On the way, Harry's heart was filled with mixed emotions. He felt nervous and determined. He knew that this action might change everything.

As they approached the abandoned castle, Harry could sense a strong smell of dark magic in the air. The ruins of the castle looked eerie and the surroundings were unsettlingly quiet.

"Everyone be careful," Dumbledore whispered, "We must sneak in quietly and not attract any attention."

They quietly landed outside the castle, hid behind several boulders, and observed the movements around them. Harry clenched his wand, his heart beating faster. He knew that everything that happened next depended on their actions.

"We will split into two groups," Dumbledore arranged. "Snape and I will be responsible for attracting their attention, while Harry and Professor McGonagall will be responsible for sneaking into the castle and looking for clues."

Harry nodded to show that he understood, and then followed Professor McGonagall quietly around to the other side of the castle. Professor McGonagall's eyes were firm and steady, which made Harry feel a little comforted.

"We must find Murdoch's plan or any relevant documents," Professor McGonagall whispered, "This will be the key to uncovering their conspiracy."

They quietly entered the castle, through a narrow passage, and came to a dim hall. In the middle of the hall, there was a table covered with various documents and maps. Harry felt a surge of joy, knowing that they had found the right place.

"Come on, look at these," Harry whispered, and began to leaf through the papers.

Professor McGonagall also joined in the reading, and they found some important clues. Murdoch's plan was indeed related to Hogwarts. He intended to use an ancient black magic to destroy the school's protective barrier and then launch a large-scale attack.

"We must inform Dumbledore immediately," said Harry nervously. "We are running out of time."

At this moment, footsteps suddenly sounded, and Harry and Professor McGonagall quickly hid in the shadows on the side. They saw several dark wizards walking into the hall, one of whom was Murdoch.

"We must speed up the process," Murdoch said coldly, "Dumbledore and his men will find this place soon, and we can't let them ruin our plans."

Harry held his breath, feeling a surge of nervousness. He knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he had to seize it.

"Professor, what should we do?" Harry asked in a low voice, with a determined light in his eyes.

"We have to be careful and not act rashly," Professor McGonagall whispered back, "We'll make a decision after they leave."

A few minutes later, Murdoch and his men left the hall, and Harry and Professor McGonagall quietly walked out. They quickly collected all the important documents, then left the castle through the previous passage and returned to the place where they met up with Dumbledore and Professor Snape.

"We found their plan," Harry said excitedly, "Mordoc plans to use dark magic to destroy the Hogwarts barrier."

Dumbledore's eyes flashed with a hint of solemnity, but soon became firm: "We must take action immediately to stop their conspiracy."

They quickly returned to Hogwarts, handed over all the clues to other professors and students, and began to deploy emergency defense measures. Harry felt a little nervous, but he knew that they were on the right track.

As night fell, Harry stood on the tower of Hogwarts, looking at the castle ruins in the distance. The wind blew gently, and he felt a little cool. Although they had thwarted one of Murdoch's plots, Harry was still full of uneasiness and doubt. He was not sure how powerful he was and whether he could really take on the responsibility of protecting Hogwarts.

The next morning, Harry got up early and prepared some necessary things. He decided to go to the Forbidden Forest, where he could always find some peace and answers. He needed a place where he could be alone and think.
