Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 318: Combat Power Decreased Suddenly

In the center of the magic room was an ancient altar, engraved with ancient runes and surrounded by blue magical light. Harry walked forward and felt the power in his body gradually subsiding, as if attracted by the power of the altar.

"Harry, we need to use the power here to help you balance your soul power as Dumbledore said," Hermione said, with determination in her eyes.

Harry nodded, stood in the center of the altar, closed his eyes, and felt the magical atmosphere around him. He took a deep breath, concentrated his mind, and tried to guide the power in his body into the altar.

Hermione and Ron stood aside, raised their wands, and began to chant the ancient spell. As the spell was chanted, the runes on the altar began to glow, and the blue light gradually surrounded Harry's body. He felt the power in his body gradually balancing, and the uncontrollable power seemed to be absorbed by the altar, becoming gentle and stable.

"Focus, Harry," Hermione whispered. "You can do this."

Harry closed his eyes, and an unprecedented sense of peace and strength surged in his heart. He felt the power of his soul gradually balancing, and his headache also eased. He knew that he had finally mastered this power.

When the ritual was over, Harry felt his body filled with strength, but this time it was different from the past, the strength became gentle and steady. He opened his eyes and saw Hermione and Ron smiling at him, their eyes full of joy and pride.

"We did it, Harry," Hermione said, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"Yeah, now we can face everything," Ron added, a determined gleam in his eye.

After leaving the magic room, Harry, Hermione and Ron returned to Hogwarts. Although Harry felt that the power within him was under control, a new worry grew in his heart. They must remain vigilant at all times because the threat of the Dark Magic Organization still exists.

One night, Harry had just laid down to rest when he was suddenly awakened by a rapid knock on the door. It was Neville Longbottom outside the door, his face was pale and terrified.

"Harry, something's happened!" Neville gasped. "Something's happened to your roommate, Seamus!"

Harry jumped up from the bed, his heart tightened, and he hurriedly followed Neville to the dormitory. When they arrived at the dormitory, they found Seamus lying on the ground, his body twitching, his face pale, obviously suffering from some powerful magical attack.

"Seamus!" Harry cried anxiously, kneeling beside him. "How are you?"

Seamus opened his eyes and said weakly: "Harry, be careful... they are tracking us... the dark magic organization... they are coming..."

Harry felt a surge of anger and helplessness, knowing that the conspiracy of the Dark Magic Organization was becoming more and more dangerous. He quickly sent Seamus to Madam Pomfrey and asked for her help.

Madam Pomfrey carefully examined Seamus's condition, her face grim. "This is a sign of dark magic," she said, "He needs to be treated immediately, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous."

Harry clenched his fists, his eyes flashing with anger. He knew that they could no longer sit there and wait for death, and they had to take action.

"We have to find those who attacked Seamus," Harry said firmly, "and we can't let them continue to hurt others."

Hermione and Ron arrived soon. They were also shocked and angry about what happened to Seamus. Hermione held her wand with determination in her eyes: "We must find out how they got into Hogwarts and how they found Seamus."

Harry nodded in agreement, and they decided to start investigating immediately. They first returned to the dormitory and carefully checked the place where Seamus was attacked, trying to find any clues.

"Look here," Hermione pointed to a small piece of black residue on the floor, "This is a trace of dark magic, probably some kind of teleportation spell."

"We can trace the source of the spell," Ron suggested, "and maybe find the attackers."

Harry felt the anger burning in his heart, he knew that this action was not only to protect Hogwarts, but also for all those who were hurt by the dark magic organization. They decided to find the attacker's trace by tracking the spell.

Hermione carefully cast a tracking spell, and a pale blue light extended from the tip of her wand, pointing in a direction. "Follow me," she whispered, leading them along the path of the light.

They followed the light all the way through the corridors of Hogwarts and came to a hidden underground passage. The passage was filled with a damp smell and was covered with ancient runes. It was obviously some kind of hidden passage.

"They have to be here," Harry whispered, gripping his wand tightly, ready for any possible danger.

They walked into the passage carefully, their footsteps echoing between the stone walls, making them particularly clear. At the end of the passage was a secret basement, where dim lights illuminated some vague figures.

"Who's there?" A deep voice sounded, and a black-robed wizard appeared in front of them with a cold light in his eyes.

"We are here to stop your plot!" Harry said coldly, pointing his wand at the other party.

The black-robed wizard sneered, waved his wand, and a powerful black beam shot towards Harry. Harry quickly dodged and waved his wand to release a powerful counter-spell.

The battle broke out instantly, magic beams intertwined in the basement, and the flickering light illuminated the surroundings. Harry felt the power surge in his body, he concentrated his energy, released powerful spells, and started a fierce duel with the black-robed wizard.

Hermione and Ron were not to be outdone. They worked in perfect harmony, resisting each other's attacks while looking for opportunities to counterattack. Hermione cast a powerful binding spell, trapping one of the black-robed wizards in a corner. Ron used the invisibility cloak to move quickly in the dark, suddenly appearing and dealing a fatal blow to the enemy.

The battle lasted for several minutes. The black-robed wizards obviously underestimated Harry's strength and gradually fell into disadvantage. Harry seized the opportunity and hit the black-robed wizard's wand with a powerful "Disarming Spell". The opponent's wand flew out and his fighting power was instantly reduced.

"You lose," Harry said coldly, his eyes flashing with determination and anger, "Now, tell us your plan."

The black-robed wizards were obviously unwilling to cooperate, but Harry knew that they had a way to make them talk. They took the black-robed wizards back to Hogwarts and handed them over to Dumbledore's portrait for processing, hoping to get more useful information from them.

After returning to Hogwarts, Harry felt exhausted, but he knew that this was just the beginning. They must continue to work hard to protect everything they cherish. Seamus's death made him more determined. No matter what they faced, they would not back down.
