Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 327 More Perfect
They continued to climb up and finally reached the top of the tower. Here, they saw a huge magic circle with a crystal emitting mysterious light floating in the center. Harry felt a strong attraction and knew that this was the answer they were looking for.
"This is an ancient magical device." Hermione observed the magic circle carefully. "It seems to be able to control some powerful force."
Harry approached the crystal and felt the power in his body resonate with it. He reached out and gently touched the crystal, and suddenly a strong magical energy surged into his body. Harry closed his eyes and seemed to see countless pictures, the past and the future intertwined.
"Harry, are you all right?" Ron asked worriedly.
Harry opened his eyes, his gaze becoming more determined. "I see. We need to use this power to repair the crack."
"But this power is too strong, can we control it?" Hermione asked.
"We have to try," Harry said. "As long as we work together, we will succeed."
They decided to act immediately and direct the power of the crystal to the crack. Harry, Hermione and Ron stood side by side, with three wands pointing at the crystal at the same time, and a shining beam of light shot out from the top of the tower and headed straight for the crack.
As the beam spread, the cracks shrank, and powerful magical forces reverberated in the air. Harry felt the power growing within him, but he struggled to keep his balance, working with Hermione and Ron to control the energy.
"We did it!" Hermione said excitedly, tears glistening in her eyes.
Ron also showed a relieved smile, "Harry, we really won this time."
Harry Potter stood on the top of the tower, feeling the surging power in his body gradually subside. Although the cracks had healed, he knew that this was only a temporary victory. The crisis facing Hogwarts had not been completely resolved. He turned to Hermione and Ron and said, "We need to find a safe place to continue studying this power and find the final solution to the problem."
Hermione nodded, and after thinking for a moment, she said, "I remember there is an abandoned testing ground in the southwest corner of Hogwarts. It was once the place where the Ministry of Magic used to test new magic. Few people go there now, so it should be an ideal place."
Ron agreed, "That's a good idea, we can do our research there without being disturbed."
Harry looked at his two friends, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart. Although the road ahead was unknown, he felt very strong with their company. "Let's go," he said, "We will go to the test site immediately."
They quickly walked through the corridors of Hogwarts and came to the southwest corner. The building here looked dilapidated and desolate, with vines and dust covering the walls. Harry pushed open the heavy wooden door and saw a spacious experimental field. Although it was in disrepair, it still showed its former glory.
"This place is really full of traces of history." Hermione exclaimed, with a gleam of exploration in her eyes.
"Yeah, it looks like no one has been here for a long time." Ron looked around and said curiously.
Harry walked to the center of the test site, closed his eyes, and felt the magical fluctuations around him. He could feel that many powerful magical experiments had been conducted here, and traces of those powers still remained in the air.
"We need a device that can stabilize our magical power." Harry said, "Hermione, do you have any suggestions?"
Hermione thought for a moment and said, "I think we can use these ancient magical runes. They can help us control and direct energy. We need to reactivate them."
Ron nodded in agreement: "That sounds like a good idea. We need to clean these runes first and restore their original functions."
The three of them started to get busy. Harry was responsible for checking and repairing the magic circle, while Hermione flipped through the magic book she carried with her, looking for the spell to activate the rune. Ron set up protective magic around to prevent any accidents.
Time passed by, and the test site gradually returned to its former glory. Harry stood in the center of the magic circle, feeling the power in his body resonating with the runes. He took a deep breath, raised his wand, and began to chant the spell.
A dazzling light shot out from the tip of the wand, activating the runes on the ground. The entire test site was enveloped in light, and the air was filled with powerful magical energy. Harry felt the power flowing through his body, and he tried to stay calm and control the energy.
Hermione and Ron stood aside, watching Harry nervously. They knew that this was a critical moment and any mistake could lead to serious consequences.
"Harry, can you feel where that energy is flowing?" Hermione asked cautiously.
Harry nodded, sweat dripping down his forehead. He took a deep breath and continued to concentrate and guide the power. He could feel that the power was gradually stabilizing and seemed to be merging with his magic.
Just then, a strange voice came from the corner of the test site: "What are you doing?"
Harry turned sharply and saw Luna Lovegood standing in the doorway with a curious look on her face. She glided over to him with a searching gleam in her eyes.
"Luna, why are you here?" Ron asked in surprise.
"I heard you were doing some important research, so I came to take a look." Luna said with a smile, "It seems I came to the right place."
Harry put down his wand, smiled and said to Luna: "You came at the right time. We need more help to control and guide this power."
Luna nodded and walked over to Harry, examining the magic circle carefully. "These runes are ancient, but full of wisdom. We can use them to stabilize the energy, but it will take some adjustments."
Hermione also came over and carefully studied the place Luna pointed out. "You're right, we need to add some new runes here to increase stability."
Several people continued to work, and the test site gradually became more perfect with their efforts. Harry felt the power in his body becoming more and more stable, and he knew that they were moving in the right direction.
"Harry, how are you feeling?" Ron asked concernedly.
"Much better." Harry replied with a smile, "This power is no longer so violent. I can feel it gradually merging with me."
Hermione nodded with relief. "This is just the beginning. We still need to continue researching and practicing. But I believe that we will be able to find the final solution."
