Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 329 When About to Fall
A few days later, the headache came again, and Harry felt that he was almost losing consciousness. He staggered a few steps in the corridor, trying to keep his balance, but the vision in front of him became more and more blurred. Just when he was about to fall, a pair of hands held him steadily.
"Harry, are you okay?" Luna Lovegood's gentle voice came.
Harry tried to open his eyes and saw Luna's clear eyes full of concern. He nodded reluctantly, "I... just have a headache."
Luna helped him to sit on the bench next to him and said softly, "Harry, your headache is not just due to fatigue. I can feel that the magical energy in your body is unbalanced."
Harry was stunned for a moment, "Unbalanced? What does that mean?"
"When your magical power becomes unstable, it affects your physical and mental state." Luna explained, "You need to find a balance so that these powers can coexist harmoniously."
Harry listened to Luna's words and gradually understood. Perhaps he had always underestimated the impact of this new power. He must find a way to regain control of these powers instead of being controlled by them.
"Thank you, Luna," Harry said sincerely. "You're right. I need to find a balance."
Luna smiled and nodded. "You can try meditation, or seek some magic that can help you calm your mind. Hermione and Ron will also help you find a way."
Harry looked at Luna gratefully, "I will. Thank you for your help."
Back at the experiment site, Harry told Hermione and Ron about his experience and Luna's advice. Hermione immediately began to look through her books, looking for ways to balance magical energy. Ron accompanied Harry to ensure that he would not be disturbed during his meditation.
"Harry, there is an ancient meditation technique here that can help wizards balance the magical energy in their bodies." Hermione said excitedly, "We can give it a try."
Harry followed Hermione's instructions and began to meditate. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to relax himself. As time went on, he felt that the headache gradually subsided, and the magical power in his body became stable.
After a few days, Harry's headaches were significantly reduced, and he was able to better control his behavior and magic. He knew that this was just the beginning and there was still a lot of work to do in the future, but he no longer felt alone. With the support and help of his friends, he believed that he would be able to find the ultimate solution to the problem.
One night, Harry sat in the middle of the experimental field, feeling the flow of magic. Hermione and Ron accompanied him quietly, and Luna often came to visit them. Although the future was full of unknowns, Harry was full of hope and courage.
Harry Potter's headaches have eased recently, but his life has not become peaceful. One night, Harry woke up from meditation and found that Hermione and Ron were not around. They went to the library to find more information about magical balance, while Harry stayed in the experimental field and continued his practice.
Suddenly, the door was flung open, and Seamus Finnigan stumbled in, pale and terrified. "Harry! Come quickly, someone is in distress!"
Harry's heart tightened, and he immediately stood up and ran out with Seamus. They ran to Gryffindor Tower. Many students gathered in the corridor, and everyone's face was full of fear and surprise. Harry squeezed into the crowd and saw Neville Longbottom kneeling on the ground with tears in his eyes.
"Neville, what happened?" Harry asked anxiously.
Neville choked up and said, "It's Dean, he...he's dying."
Harry's heart sank suddenly. He walked forward and saw Dean Thomas lying on the ground, his eyes closed and his face pale. He reached out and felt Dean's pulse, but felt nothing. He turned his head and looked at the classmates around him, trying to find the answer.
"Can anyone tell me what happened?" Harry asked loudly, with a hint of despair in his voice.
A first-grade boy said tremblingly: "I...I saw Dean practicing a spell, and then he suddenly fell down."
Hermione and Ron also rushed over. Seeing this scene, Hermione immediately squatted down to check on Dean's condition, while Ron stood beside Harry with the same solemn expression.
"He has no signs of life." Hermione's voice was trembling. "We must find Madam Pomfrey as soon as possible."
Harry nodded, stood up, and said to the students around him: "Everyone get out of the way, we need to send Dean to the hospital wing."
With the help of Ron and Seamus, Harry carefully lifted Dean and quickly ran to the hospital wing. Along the way, Harry felt extremely heavy. He kept thinking about Dean in his mind. He was his friend and classmate. They had experienced many adventures together, but now, Dean...
When Madam Pomfrey saw them, she immediately began emergency treatment, but she finally shook her head helplessly. "I'm sorry, Harry, he's gone."
The words stabbed Harry's heart like a knife. He stood there, feeling the whole world buzzing in his ears. He couldn't believe that his friend was gone forever.
"Why?" Harry muttered, his eyes filled with pain and anger, "Why is this happening?"
Hermione stepped forward and gently held Harry's hand, tears streaming down her face, "Harry, we must calm down and find out the truth."
Ron also stood aside, his fists clenched, his eyes flashing with anger, "We can't let Dean die in vain."
Harry took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He knew that now was not the time to dwell on grief, they had to find out what caused all this and prevent more people from getting hurt.
A few days later, Harry, Hermione and Ron decided to start investigating Dean's death. They first looked up the spells Dean had been practicing recently, trying to find out the possible problem. Hermione found that Dean had recently been studying an ancient protective spell, which was said to provide extremely strong protection in battle, but its use required extremely high magical control.
"I think this might be the problem." Hermione pointed to a passage in the book and said, "This kind of spell requires the caster to have full control over his or her magical power, otherwise it will cause the energy to get out of control."
Harry pondered, "That means that when Dean cast the spell, the magical energy might have gone out of control for some reason."
Ron nodded and said, "We need to find out what exactly he did at the time, or if he has any other abnormal conditions."
They decided to interview some of the students who had practiced with Dean in the past to try to piece together more information. A fourth grader told them that Dean had been trying to improve the spell recently, and he hoped to use it in the Magic Clash competition.
