Chapter 376 You're rebelling
Glenn didn't feel like he was in a Shura field. He knew that these two were only fighting because of their personalities, and the object of their competition just happened to be Glenn.
"Would you like to hear from me, gentlemen?" Glenn asked tentatively.
Unexpectedly, the two beauties really cast their eyes on him, but before Glenn could continue speaking, they said in unison:
"Who do you choose?"
"Ah, this..." Glenn made a face that asked him to stop making trouble, "This is not fun at all, you two."
The two ladies couldn't help but burst out laughing when they heard his funny words and surrender-like expression.
"Shouldn't you be a gentleman and say something to comfort us now?"
Windsor and Glenn were quite familiar with each other. Windsor blinked his left eye gently at Glenn, and it seemed as if little stars burst out from his beautiful eyes, which attracted Glenn.
"I don't know how! I don't know how to coax a woman! Can you teach me?" Glenn said in an exaggerated manner.
The two beauties rolled their eyes at the same time.
"How about this, we play rock-paper-scissors, and whoever wins gets to choose?"
Glenn made a comment.
"Rock, paper, scissors?" The two girls looked at each other in confusion.
Glenn briefly explained the rules, and after listening, they both found it fun.
However, Bloodfang pointed out a loophole: "What if the two of us beat you alone?"
"Then you two can do it again, or..."
"or?"
"Or you two can just dance and I'll watch."
Bloodfang and Windsor were both stunned, and then laughed and hit Glenn, "How could you come up with such a weird idea?!"
Simple laughter quickly brought the three closer together. They rejected the royal servants' request to dance and found a quiet place to sit.
Glenn was in charge of the introductions so that the two ladies could get to know each other.
"So you are Miss Bloodfang from the Bloodnest Family. I have heard of your name, not only in the Adventurer's Guild, but also among my family elders."
After just a brief introduction from Glenn, Windsor already knew the origin of the Blood Fang, and she spoke with the unique heroism of a female knight.
"Hello, Knight Commander Windsor. From what Glenn has said, I believe you are definitely a respectable warrior."
Bloodfang complimented in the same tone.
After all, mutual promotion of business is inevitable.
"Come to think of it, I haven't settled accounts with you yet, Mr. Dylan."
Windsor suddenly looked like he was gritting his teeth, especially when he said the word Dylan, he bit it very hard.
Glenn looked embarrassed and said seriously, "Many people have secondary names, including me. Dylan is my real name, which can be found in the official archives, and Glenn is the secondary name I gave myself, which is true!"
Hearing this, Windsor came up directly and poked Glenn's nose with a white index finger, looking at him unkindly, "I hope you didn't fool me this time, cunning man."
"Of course." Glenn tilted his head back and changed the subject to ask Bloodfang who was watching the show, "Bloodfang, the last time you went back was to deal with an enemy, right? How was it successful?"
When this was mentioned, Bloodfang's relaxed expression changed, he sighed deeply, and said:
"It's terrible. My methods are still too immature. Not only did I fail to defeat my opponent, but I also put my sister in danger."
"What's going on?" Glenn frowned.
Windsor, who was standing by, was very curious. He gently pulled Glenn's clothes and asked in a low voice the reason.
Glenn then obtained Bloodfang's consent and briefly explained it to Windsor.
After hearing this, the upright female knight's eyes widened, "What a complete scumbag!"
"Just listen to it first." Glenn patted her shoulder.
Thinking of what Bloodfang had just said, Windsor asked anxiously, "Go on, what happened after you went back?"
I don’t know if it’s gossip or her sense of justice that makes her so curious, but it’s probably both.
Bloodfang nodded slightly and continued:
"Last time I parted hastily with Glenn, I went back and tried every possible means to get to know my elder. As a result, I found out that the other party had already set his sights on me.
"Glenn was right. That guy is really ruthless. If you hadn't reminded me, I would have fallen into his trap after returning. Fortunately, I discovered his arrangements in time, otherwise I can't imagine what would have happened.
"I was scared and angry at the same time, so I sent the evidence I collected to our clan leader. I wanted the clan leader and other elders to severely punish that guy!
“But I don’t know why, even though the evidence was so sufficient, the clan leader and all the elders didn’t believe me. They accused me of some ridiculous crime and locked me up for several months!
"I was so angry! I was really ashamed of being born into such a family, and I wanted to leave more than once..."
Having said that, Glenn gave the excited Bloodfang a look, and the latter immediately shut up, knowing that he had said something he shouldn't have.
After taking a few deep breaths and giving Glenn a grateful look, she continued:
"I didn't care about these punishments at first. What I couldn't accept the most was that the guy who persecuted Sister Blood Axe came to trouble her again! It's because of me!..."
Windsor gently sat down next to Bloodfang, put his arm around his shoulder, and said in a gentle voice:
"This is not your fault, Bloodfang. The source of all the trouble is the person who hurt you and your sister. Don't blame yourself..."
Glenn lowered his eyes, thought for a moment and said:
"Blood Fang, how about... you rebel?"
The two girls looked at him with doubt.
Glenn coughed lightly and explained:
"Why don't you overthrow those elders who are in charge of the family and let you and your parents be the so-called clan leaders? How about this suggestion?"
Xueya's eyes widened. Her mouth felt a little dry. She picked up a glass of wine and took a sip. It felt like a fire was burning in her heart.
But the education she received from childhood to adulthood still restrained her, preventing the fire in her heart from erupting.
Glenn then tempted:
"From what I've heard from you, the family is actually a corrupt interest group, and you are the one who is excluded. I don't know if your parents are in this interest group, but if you don't break them up sooner or later, you will be assimilated and corrupted, or uprooted by them."
"No, I can't do this. Uncle Neil, Uncle Sanchel, and Mom and Dad are all part of this Blood Nest. We are a family. I can't do that. They... they will be disappointed..."
Bloody Fang lowered her head. This usually carefree female adventurer, who was even more heroic than a tomboy, now flinched.
"You are such a coward. How can you tolerate being bullied like this? If it were me, I would have kicked those corrupt old guys out of office long ago and let them know that they were wrong!"
Glenn looked like a powerful talker who could talk without any pain in his waist.
However, such words hurt Bloodfang's pride. She immediately blushed, looked up, glared at Glenn, and said angrily:
"Who are you calling timid?"
