Ideals are stones that strike out sparks; ideals are fires that light the lamp of life; ideals are lamps that illuminate the night road; ideals are roads that guide us toward dawn... Everyone has his or her own ideals in life, and he or she must strive for them; people without ideals must be walking corpses. Ideals are lofty, and only a life that constantly strives for ideals can be complete and regret-free. Socrates said: "The happiest thing in the world is to fight for ideals." We walk this life, and we must take an ideal as our goal to move forward courageously. Ideals are not divided into rich and poor, noble and humble, as long as they are beneficial to society, they are beautiful ideals. Only when we realize our ideals in life can our lives be valuable. I remember when I was very young, when I first opened a storybook and looked at the beautiful pictures, I was deeply fascinated, and a young wish was planted in my heart: How great it would be if I could also make such a book, so that many, many children could share my happiness! As I grow older, I read more books, especially those popular world masterpieces, which always make me unforgettable. When I was appreciating the touching stories, I also deeply realized one thing: how wonderful words are, they can spread knowledge in people's hearts; they can criticize the ugliness of society, and they can also promote noble qualities in the most euphemistic way. My little heart was shocked again, and the seeds of ideals began to sprout unconsciously-until later, I met many great writers, especially our "national soul" Mr. Lu Xun, whose tenacious spirit of using his pen as a gun to fight the enemy deeply moved me. From then on, I made clear my own ideals. I want to be a writer, use my pen to color my life; use my pen to add color to the motherland; use my pen to put brilliant light on the world! Although it is a peaceful era now, and the society is full of light, some people's hearts have begun to be corroded by darkness and have begun to degenerate in their mentality. I don't like such a lifeless world. I hope that I can use my pen to bring a warm sunshine to people's hearts and spread beautiful voices to every corner. I want to let the ancient words open the treasures of everyone's spiritual world! These are what an outstanding writer should do. I am eager to realize my ideals and do what I hope to do! Of course, I know that if you want to become a writer, it is impossible without hard work. Therefore, I am always working hard. I have been studying diligently and laying the foundation for my future career diligently. I dare not neglect my homework, especially diaries and essays, I always have to write them seriously, otherwise how can I be a writer? Whenever I have free time, I will read more good books, hoping that these accumulated knowledge will become the materials for building my life tower in the future. I also like to write down the little things around me, occasionally write some short stories, and then save them... Maybe such work is not hard, but it is really difficult to persevere! I also thought about giving up, but when I saw the pen in my hand, I gritted my teeth and continued to write... I am holding the pen and thinking now. I remember when I was just sensible, every time I ate sweet candy, I would always naively think: How nice it would be if I could make candy myself, and I would have endless candy! Yes, this is also an ideal, but when I think about it now, I feel that I was too ignorant at the time. Why? ——Our lives do not belong entirely to ourselves, but to the whole world. Our ideals may be big or small, high or low, but there is one most basic condition, that is, they must be good for others and good for society! At this point, I am even more proud and determined in my ideal: I want to be a writer! I want to use my wisdom to add some beauty to society!
