With the air of books, we can eliminate arrogance, pampering, domineering, anger, vulgarity, ruffianism, humbleness, and petty-bourgeoisness; with the air of books, we can increase tranquility, elegance, aura, freedom, civilization, wealth, nobility, and grandeur. A classic book and half a cup of fragrant tea are enough to make a country richer than a king. For people who like to read, reading is a kind of enjoyment. Books are our best partners, bringing warmth in the cold winter and coolness in the hot summer; they comfort you on your painful days and play laughter when you are happy. From books, you can see all the joys and sorrows, and enjoy the chivalrous tenderness. Books enrich us. Reading makes us wise; books make us humble; reading makes us broad-minded; books make us think thousands of miles away and see thousands of miles away. Reading always walks in our hearts, so that we will never be lonely. "If you have spirit, you have power; if you have knowledge, you have degree; if you have emotion, you have rhyme; if you have interest, you have taste." The real "bookish air" should be closely linked with human virtues such as erudition, humility, elegance, and compassion. Only such bookish air is what we pursue.
