When my elder sister was in the sixth grade, the whole family regarded her as a treasure. They gave her Melatonin, let her learn computers, and had a point reading machine to learn English. I envied her so much for having so many good things. When I was in the sixth grade, what greeted me was not a happy life, but heavy study pressure. Books made me breathless. Parents and teachers kept saying things to me. The invisible study pressure surrounded me tightly. I felt so lost. There were less ten minutes between classes, more voices reciting English, less laughter on the playground, and a lot of mathematical concepts. I just went to school mechanically, recited English, did homework, and read books. There were no longer a lot of romance novels on the desk, but study books. In addition to letting me eat, my mother spent the rest of her time studying, watching TV, watching study columns, playing computers, and reading composition pages. When I was browsing this page, I couldn't help but write this article about my study life. The last semester passed unknowingly. My study life was colorful and it brought me endless fun. The study in the classroom was carried out with the teacher. The classroom atmosphere is very active, which adds color to my study life. In addition to studying in the classroom, my study life is also colorful in extracurricular time. For example, in the dormitory, the dormitory is not only a place to rest, but also a good place to read, especially before lunch break. After lunch every day, my roommates turn out all kinds of books like magic to read, some borrowed from the library, some rented from the bookstore, and some bought by themselves. The sources are wide. Among these books, there is "Jane Eyre" which teaches people how to maintain self-esteem, "The King of Western Chu" which describes Xiang Yu's struggle for power, and "Wu Zetian" which shows the style of a generation of empresses... World classics are wonderful, and all-encompassing magazines are also irresistible. We read our own "Girlfriend" and "Golden Years" which describes us. We also read "Boys and Girls" that have passed us by; when we are in a bad mood, we go to find "Friends". When we are frustrated in interacting with others, we look for "Being a Person and Dealing with the World", witness the style of our idols in "Popular Movies", and create the future in "Science Fiction World". With a good book in hand, all worries are thrown behind. Because of the book, I read it during lunch break and late night. I have read it countless times with a flashlight hiding in the quilt, and even risked lighting a candle to read it. I was often warned by the dormitory inspectors to knock on the door again and again. After reading a good book, I always hope that someone will share it with you. Every night during the "bedtime talk" time, we talked most about books. We commented on the literary value of the four great Chinese masterpieces, discussed Collins's famous work "The Woman in White", debated "The Generals of Huangpu", analyzed the literary status of "The Red and the Black"... Even the protagonists in the works were commented on; we talked about Wu Sangui, commented on Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai, praised Wu Zetian, and scolded Empress Dowager Cixi. We expressed our own views, talked freely, and were in high spirits. As the old saying goes: Books have their own golden house, and books have their own beautiful women. But we study not for a wealthy family or a beautiful wife, but for knowledge, a kind of knowledge that cannot be learned in the classroom. We use it to broaden our horizons, arm our minds, and enrich our spiritual world.
