There are two students in the class, Gao Kaixia and Jiang Mengdi, whose entrance grades are very poor. From their usual and side understanding, I learned that there are two main reasons for their poor grades. One is that their family situation is special and their family is not a sound and harmonious family; the other is that they have poor elementary school foundation. The poor elementary school cultural foundation may be inseparable from the special family situation. But it is these two students who gave me sincere touch. I remember that the first time I was touched was a class theme class meeting. The second semester of the fifth grade is about to end, and the new semester is about to come. The class cadres who presided over the class meeting asked the students to talk about their plans for the next semester. Gao Kaixia was the first to speak, which surprised me. She was neither shy like some students nor self-denying like some students. She talked about her semester summary openly and sincerely, analyzed her own shortcomings, sought truth from facts, and looked forward to the new semester. Her seriousness, sincerity, and honesty touched me inexplicably. What a serious student she is. She didn't belittle herself, complain about herself, or aim too high or be unrealistic. Instead, she set a practical goal for herself. What touched me even more was that she moved forward step by step according to her own goal. Her grades improved greatly. Although she barely passed one of her subjects, she had made amazing progress. She even excelled in one of her subjects. Her Chinese grades went from failing to passing to the class average. Perhaps these results are not worth mentioning for the top students, but for her, it is an extreme leap, a metamorphosis from a pupa to a moth. Compared with those students who have made no progress, isn't she worth learning from? Compared with Gao Kaixia, Jiang Mengdi may be a little worse. She hasn't made any progress in some subjects so far, but she also touched me. I remember that the famous Chinese teacher Wei Shusheng said in his speech that those students who can hardly understand the class in class are the most admirable, because they insist on listening to the class they don't understand at all with extraordinary patience every day. If you are asked to listen to five Spanish classes every day that you don't understand at all, how many days can you persist? Jiang Mengdi has good discipline in class. She will not be distracted because of not understanding. She always listens hard. Another thing that touched me about her is that she is very serious in doing things. She writes every homework very seriously and corrects it in time. Compared with those students who have good grades but write carelessly, her homework gives you a refreshing feeling; compared with those self-righteous students who correct and procrastinate, her timeliness makes you feel relieved. What touched me most is that her Chinese grades are gradually improving this semester, although sometimes the grades will rebound. Because I didn't lose confidence in her, every affirmation and brief encouragement filled her with passion. Miracles continued to happen. In the next exam, she scored 90 points, which was an "astronomical" number for her. The teacher's praise and her happiness were all over her face. Every time she made progress, I was deeply moved! It was such an ordinary classmate who gave me sincere touch and made me feel the joy and happiness of learning. I hope that more ordinary classmates will give me more touches, and I also hope that I can bring more touching seeds to my classmates, which will quickly take root, sprout, bloom, and bear fruit...
