Simply put, I stretch out my hands for clothes and open my mouth for food. Once, my parents and sister went to my grandmother's house. Because I was afraid of motion sickness, I didn't go, so they gave me 50 yuan to order a box lunch and said I would be back in a day. As soon as they left, I went home to sleep. I slept for a long time. When I woke up, I found that it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I got up immediately when I remembered that I hadn't eaten. When I came to the kitchen and saw that the rice was not cooked, I shouted loudly: "Mom, why haven't you cooked yet?" But there was silence at home and no one answered. I started to worry. Where did they go? I turned the whole house upside down but there was no one there. So I went to the balcony and cried loudly. Suddenly, it dawned on me that they went to my grandmother's house this morning. I took out the 50 yuan in my bag to order a box lunch, but I didn't know where to order it. I usually ordered it at home. I searched the street but couldn't find it. I returned home frustrated. I thought to myself: "What should I do? Am I going to starve to death?" At this time, there was a sound of opening the door. Dad, mom and sister came back. So I saw hope from disappointment. I rushed over and hugged my mother and cried loudly. After crying, I wiped my tears and asked, "Aren't you coming back tomorrow? Why are you back now?" Mom said, "Aren't you afraid of you? We are worried about you." I was moved to tears... After this incident, I vowed to be independent and do something big when I grow up. Independence When birds grow up, they should spread their wings and fly high in the blue sky; when fish grow up, they should swim freely in the vast ocean; when people grow up, they should face difficulties independently on the bumpy road of life. As the saying goes, "Rely on your parents at home and rely on your friends when you go out." But I think the most important thing is to rely on yourself. We can't always rely on others. We should face some things by ourselves. Only by developing such a habit, you will not be helpless when you are in trouble and no one can rely on you. Like last time, I found that my parents were not at home after school, and I was very hungry at this time. Although I had never cooked at that time, I took the initiative to pick up the pot and spoon to cook. I took out some noodles and vegetables from the refrigerator, and cooked noodles according to my mother's usual cooking method. In fact, this is also a manifestation of "independence". In today's society, many children lack this habit of "independence". Parents always give their children a life of "clothes come to hand, food comes to mouth", and do everything for them. Over time, their children will develop a very lazy character, and will only know how to enjoy themselves, but not the ability to survive. People who rely on their parents blindly cannot stand the test of life! In my experience, I think the growth of a person is like the growth of a tree. Only when the tree learns to be independent can it transform very little nutrients into huge energy, take deep roots, grow vigorously, and withstand the test of wind and rain.
