The top CEO is my ex-boyfriend

Chapter 324: Family Heirloom Painting

Ji Shi's face has recently become quite popular in Country F, and the man next to him is the president of a well-known group. A reporter recognized Ji Shi and Fu Tingli, his eyes lit up, and he immediately started pressing the shutter button frantically towards the two of them.

Soon after Ji Shi and Fu Tingli entered, they saw an interesting thing: an ancient painting that was severely damaged. If you didn't look closely, you couldn't tell what was painted on it.

As he was looking carefully, he found that there was another person next to him. He turned around and felt that the other person looked familiar.

The other party also looked over and nodded at Ji Shi.

Ji Shi's memory gradually returned and he remembered that the other person was Mr. Wu's grandson.

"Hello." Ji Shi stretched out his hand to him, "Long time no see."

The other person squatted down slightly, stretched out his hand to shake his hand, and then quickly withdrew his hand. He looked a little socially anxious, which was different from that day.

"What's your name?" Ji Shi asked again.

"Wu Funin." The other person's body stiffened and he spoke in a low, unclear voice.

Ji Shi's eyes lit up, "Your name sounds nice. My name is Ji Shi, you should know it."

Wu Funfen's pupils dilated slightly. Many people laughed at his girly name. This was the first time that someone other than his family said his name was nice.

"Thank you."

"My grandfather will be here later today." Wu Funfen thought about it and suddenly started talking to Ji Shi.

Ji Shi smiled at him, "Okay."

"Okay, don't you like looking at paintings? Take another look." Fu Tingli pushed the electric wheelchair towards the painting.

Seeing Ji Shi's high interest, Wu Fenfen couldn't help but remind him, "Ancient treasure auctions like this are not completely guaranteed."

He seemed to be afraid that Ji Shiyi would impulsively buy the damaged ancient painting. "Especially for ancient paintings like this, many people think that the value will rise if they are restored, but there are very few restorers who can repair ancient paintings of this degree of damage, and most of them charge very high fees. In the end, they may not be able to repair it, so it is not worth the price at all."

Seeing that he was quite enthusiastic, Ji Shi chatted with him for a while longer, "So how much do you think this painting is worth?"

"Don't exceed this number." Wu raised two fingers.

"Two million?" Ji Shi asked back.

"Two hundred thousand? What two million? Are you crazy?" Wu Funui blurted out, then realized belatedly that his true nature was exposed again, and his face turned slightly red.

"Sir, this is an ancestral painting in my family, and the price is five hundred thousand." A young man standing next to the ancient painting suddenly frowned and said to Wu Funfen.

"Your painting is so damaged. There's no point in buying it back. You can't sell it for half a million." Wu Funfen said.

"Sir, please don't buy it but don't devalue it. This is an ancient painting passed down in my family, from the Song Dynasty to the present day. As long as we can find a master to restore it, its value will definitely be more than ten times more than it is now." The young man looked at Ji Shi and Fu Tingli nervously. They had stayed here the longest and were the most likely to buy his paintings. If he listened to this man and didn't buy them, he might not be able to sell them tonight, and he wouldn't be able to raise enough money to redeem his brother.

His brother is unreliable but he is his only relative after all. If he doesn’t take care of him, his brother will die.

Thinking of this, the boy gritted his teeth and said, "Two hundred thousand is two hundred thousand."

At worst, he could go to that kind of place to borrow some money and rescue his brother first.

"I didn't say I wanted to buy your paintings." Wu Funfen said.
