Original God plus Marvel: Meet Thanos and start calling for help

Chapter 400: The Invasion That Was Not Secret

Go back a few decades.

It was an afternoon with sunshine as bright as gold. With the help of Carol's files on Earth, Nick Fury blocked her in a bar with the precision of a hunter.

"You've had a hard day, Agent Fury."

Carol asked as she looked at Nick Fury, who had medical tape on his forehead.

"Haha, it wasn't hard. I experienced an alien invasion, played a game of flying cars, and was fortunate enough to observe the autopsy of an alien. Hmm... a typical 9-to-5 day."

Nick Fury said this as he walked out from the backstage of the bar.

Carol shrugged helplessly, with a thoughtful look in her eyes: "So you have seen the Skrulls."

The Skrulls are an alien race.

They typically have green skin and are similar in build to humans, but with larger heads, yellow or orange eyes, and pointy ears.

The Skrulls can imitate the appearance of other creatures through their transformation ability, including physical features, voices, and even genes and partial memories. Nick Fury almost suffered a great loss at the hands of the Skrulls. The wound on his forehead was the work of a Skrull disguised as Agent Coulson.

"I never believed in the existence of aliens, but the facts are right in front of me."

Nick Fury said frankly, his eyes revealing a hint of helplessness and emotion.

The world seemed to have changed drastically after he saw the Skrull's body with all his heart.

The world order he once knew was broken, replaced by a universe full of unknowns and dangers.

Nick Fury knows that from that moment on, his life will no longer be ordinary, and he will shoulder the responsibility of protecting the earth and fighting against unknown threats.

Carol stared closely at Nick Fury in front of her, her eyes revealing a hint of seriousness and vigilance.

She frowned slightly, and her brows were like two small hills, as if she was thinking about something important.

"This is embarrassing to say, but I have to ask."

Before Carol could finish, Nick Fury interrupted her.

"You think I'm a green-skinned lizard too."

"It doesn't hurt to be careful." Carol insisted on verifying it.

After understanding the characteristics of the Skrull race, Nick Fury and Carol sat down calmly, but the atmosphere around them seemed to be tightly grasped by an invisible hand and became tense, as if a battle without gunpowder was about to begin.

“Where were you born?” “What’s your pet’s name?” “First job?”

Carol's questions came one after another like a machine gun, and Nick Fury answered them all fluently.

His answers were lightning fast and accurate, as if he had rehearsed these questions in his mind countless times.

Although Nick Fury's answers to these personal questions were extremely detailed and came out almost without thinking, Carol looked at him, still not letting down her guard.

She narrowed her eyes and continued to think about the next verification method.

"Name a weird quirk a Skrull could never make up."

This question stumped Nick Fury. He thought for 5 seconds before giving the answer.

"I won't eat toast unless it's square."

......

Back to the present.

Nick Fury looked at Paimon and said, "Although the rice crust made of toast is cute, it's not a square!"

He stood up suddenly and walked around anxiously with quick steps, as if he was venting his inner emotions.

Nick Fury held his forehead and said, "When I left, I looked at the table. There were clearly square pieces of toast on it, but 'Carol' still brought me something else. And she didn't respond to my reminder at all."

"Could it be that Carol forgot? After all, you haven't seen each other for many years. It's not impossible that she remembered your habits incorrectly."

Paimon thought that based on this alone, Nick was doubting the identity of good friends and was being too sensitive.

"Absolutely impossible. She also got a key piece of information wrong." Nick Fury explained: "The BB machine is just a disguised signal transmitter. It can't send any text messages."

"If Carol is really someone else pretending to be her....Paimon should go find Narcida now!"

"Oh no! We must tell the traveler this news right away. He was just chatting with that impostor!" Paimon realized that something was not right. He didn't even have time to wipe his mouth before he rushed to the restaurant.

Nick Fury quickly grabbed the panicked Paimon and comforted him, "Sora already knows that the other party is a fake, don't worry."

Paimon patted his chest and breathed a sigh of relief: "That's good, but why don't we just arrest him?"

"In order not to alert the enemy, they actually had the guts to break into the Avengers' base alone. In addition to being confident in their own strength, they must also want to obtain some information from us."

Nick Fury did not just give Paimon a perfunctory answer, but explained patiently.

There was a hint of wisdom in his eyes, as if he was analyzing the enemy's intentions.

"Their goal is the Infinity Stones. Maybe Thanos's men have already arrived without our knowledge..."

"We even found helpers on Earth."

Reopen the door and let Paimon in.

Nick Fury glanced at everyone at the party. Carol was a fake, and he couldn't imagine if there were other people who might have been replaced at the party.

As for why I didn't doubt Paimon.

Ever since Paimon walked into the restaurant, she hadn't done anything other than eating. Even when she talked to others, she was asking the waiter to serve the food quickly. Nick Fury had never seen such a useless impostor.

Fortunately, Paimon had left, otherwise, with her temper, if she heard me evaluate her like this, she would definitely quarrel with him.

"Friday."

Nick Fury called softly to the intelligent butler.

[Mr. Nick Fury, how can I help you? ]

The voice of the smart butler sounded immediately, asking about his needs.

"Tell Tony that I have something urgent to discuss with him. Ask him to meet me downstairs right now."

.....

At the lively party, Tony was holding a cup and sitting with a group of Avengers, listening to stories told by his new friend Steven, the alternate personality of Moon Knight.

At the party, lights flickered, music played, and people's laughter and chatter mixed together, creating a cheerful atmosphere.

Tony's eyes revealed a hint of curiosity: "Excuse me, I have a question, if the crocodile god named Emily can judge the good and evil of living people and selectively send bad people to hell, then should we..."

"Amit! It's Amit! And that's the underworld!" Steven corrected: "She is an Egyptian god, and the word hell is not quite accurate."

Tony picked up the cup and took a sip of the milky white liquid in it, then raised his eyebrows indifferently:

“I don’t care. Whatever.”

There was a hint of casualness in his tone, as if he didn't care about the details.

"I want to say what Amit said. What would happen if she were to have a friendship handshake with Thanos?"

Star-Lord's eyes lit up, as if he was inspired by Tony's idea.

"Yes, the things Thanos did are enough to send him to hell eight hundred times. Every evildoer will be punished by his own evil. If this can be done, then we don't have to waste any effort."

Star-Lord showed an excited expression on his face. He thought this idea was very creative and might really solve their problem.

Steven couldn't help but speak up and pour cold water on everyone.

"But Amit was beaten by Anubis and swore to the lamp that he would never come to the human world to cause trouble again. Besides, Anubis would never agree to let Amit go to the human world to help."

"I don't think the judgment you're talking about can work on Thanos." Nebula snorted coldly, with a hint of disdain in her eyes: "If you have seen what Thanos is capable of, you wouldn't make such a ridiculous assumption."

Thor had drunk a little too much, and he retorted with a big tongue: "Don't boost others' prestige and destroy your own prestige, Nebula. Even if Amit can't judge Thanos, don't we still have the Villette brothers?"

"Hiccup~ Where is our Lord Chancellor of Fontaine? I was just tasting the premium wine brought from Asgard with him, why is he nowhere to be seen now?"

Thor burped and looked around, trying to find where Villette was.

"Premium alcohol? Let me have some."

Someone came here because of the smell.

"Hey, are you talking about Villette?" Wendy narrowed his eyes, raised the corners of his mouth, revealing a bright smile, holding the glass of wine shared by Thor with both hands, as if holding a precious treasure.

He gently lifted the wine glass, brought it close to his lips, tilted it slightly, and let the fragrant wine slowly flow into his mouth.

Then he closed his eyes, savoring the wonderful taste, his face filled with satisfaction and pleasure.

After a while, Wendy opened her eyes and replied with a smile: "He and the old man... no, it's Zhongli. They hid away to play chess. Eh... old people really can't adapt to such lively occasions."

Wendy showed a mischievous smile on her face. "Oh, never mind them. Where were you talking about just now? The Egyptian underworld? Hmm... it sounds like a very exciting story. Keep telling it. Don't forget, I'm the one who has won the title of [Mondstadt's Most Popular Bard] for three consecutive years. Let me record your adventures in poetry."

A glimmer of light flashed under Wendy's misty eyes, and with just a few words, she drew everyone's attention back from where Villette was going.

[Mr. Tony, Mr. Nick Fury asked me to contact you urgently. ]

The voice of the intelligent butler sounded in Tony's ears.

Tony swallowed the last sip of liquid in the cup, raised the corners of his mouth slightly, and put the empty cup aside.

He stretched his body, stretched his arms upward, and stretched his muscles.

Then he stood up from the comfortable sofa, put his hands in his pockets, and put a relaxed smile on his face.

“Oops, this new durian coconut milk is really good, but I drank too much. I have to go to the bathroom and take care of some personal issues. Hey! But I have to say that Steven’s story is really great, much funnier than the jokes Rod shared.”

Tony smiled and gave high praise and affirmation to Steven's story.

After saying that, he walked out of the crowd at a leisurely pace.

Tony greeted his friends along the way, and when he passed by Zaoyou who was dozing in the corner, a hint of tenderness appeared in his eyes.

Tony bent down gently, took off his coat softly, and carefully covered the little guy with it.

Then he quickened his pace, pushed open the door of the restaurant, and strode out.

As the restaurant door closed, the noisy sound was instantly blocked out, as if two worlds were separated by an invisible barrier.

Tony took the elevator to the next level.

As soon as he stepped out of the elevator door, a cold pistol was pressed against his temple without warning.

The touch of the hard metal was like a cold light that penetrated his bones and made his nerves tense instantly.

His body stiffened slightly involuntarily, but it only lasted for a moment before Tony quickly regained his composure.

"What? Has the great Nick Fury finally betrayed the revolution?" Tony raised his hands, widened his eyes, and showed a hint of 'surprise' on his face, and teased Nick Fury who was holding a pistol.

There was a hint of relief in his tone, as if he didn't take the dangerous situation seriously.

"Let me count, how many extra heads are there on your neck?"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there's only one smart head here."

Nick Fury replied expressionlessly.

There was a serious look in his eyes, and the gun in his hand was pointed steadily at Tony, pushing him into a room on this floor.

The room was dimly lit and the atmosphere was depressing.

"Now, Tony, answer my question, what did you get me for my birthday last year?"

Nick Fury's voice was low and cold, as if he was conducting an important interrogation.

"birthday present?"

Tony frowned and looked at the serious Nick Fury, the smile on his face disappeared.

"A picture."

“Who painted this picture?”

Nick Fury continued to ask.

"Qiqi."

Tony replied without hesitation.

"What's in the picture?"

Nick Fury's eyes were fixed on Tony, not missing any expression on his face.

"Pfft, a braised egg wearing an eyepatch is playing hopscotch."

Tony couldn't help but twitch his cheeks as he recalled the content of the painting.

Hearing the answer, Nick Fury's brows relaxed and he put the gun back into his waist, looking calmly at Tony Stark who was laughing endlessly in front of him.

"I always thought they were ostrich eggs."

Nick Fury sat down: "Eggs aren't that big."

"It wasn't originally drawn that big, but Qiqi always felt that your head wasn't round enough, so she redrawn it layer by layer, and in the end it became that big."

Tony shrugged and leaned back, curling up on the couch across from Nick Fury.

His body relaxed, as if the tension had never existed.

"Tell me, what happened? Your expression just now made me think Hydra invaded the Avengers."

"Hey, the situation now is not much different. The Captain Marvel in it is fake."

Tony's eyes flashed, and he straightened up instantly, his face becoming serious.

"Wow, that's not good news."

"Is there anything worse?"

Nick Fury shook his head, his expression softening slightly.

"There is good news. Nashida has helped verify that the friends from Teyvat are all real. But I can't guarantee the others because time is too tight. Nashida doesn't know much about the others. I can only say that I don't know how many Skrulls have sneaked in."

"Skrulls? Those chameleons?"

Tony had heard of this alien race.

"I'm now glad that I didn't let that Sora kid tell me where the Infinity Stones are hidden."

He felt a little scared, but also glad that he had been cautious at the time.

Nick Fury informed Tony of his next itinerary: "I need to go home and ask a friend about the situation. I'll leave this to you. Don't let anyone leave."

Tony raised the corners of his mouth and revealed a confident smile.

"Don't worry, we'll still party for three days and three nights."
