Chapter 19 Mysterious Old House

Jing Fan looked inside furtively, deliberately making some noises, and when he was sure that no one was around, he began to walk in openly. His goal was very confusing, and I was holding onto the tree, luckily there was a branch under my butt, otherwise I would have fallen down long ago.

Jing Fan came out of one room and entered another room, searching the room just like playing PUBG, and came out of a room in just a few minutes.

He walked into the main hall and did not come out for a long time. If I had not seen Jing Fan come out from a hole on the side of the yard with my own eyes, I would have found it unbelievable.

He pushed open the flowerpot at that location and came out. He brushed off the dust on his body and walked to the place where he had just turned over.

In the corner, Jing Fan probably didn't find anything. He stared at the place where he just came out for a long time, then stepped on the left and the right, and then flipped away like a cat.

I was afraid that he would come back again, so I waited for a quarter of an hour. After I was sure that he would not come back, I returned to where I had just stood and slowly slid down while hugging the tree.

According to his memory just now, he walked through all the rooms that Jing Fan had just visited. All the rooms were similar and covered with dust.

I lit up a candlestick with the most candles and carefully examined the details to see where Jing Fan had moved just now. After looking for a long time, there was no obvious trace of dust in the room.

There were only traces on the wall and the bed, and this was the case in several rooms. I hesitated when I walked into the main hall. It was clearly three quarters past noon, which was a little after twelve thirty.

It was one of the hottest times of the day, but I could still feel the chill when I stood at the door of the main hall, and I began to have second thoughts.

I took out the scalpel and called my daughter, but no one responded. I put my finger to my mouth and tried to bite it, "No, no, I can't put it in my mouth."

I took a knife and prepared to cut my hand. "What are you doing? Don't dirty the knife!" A girl's voice with a bit of disgust came from behind me. I knew it was Nannan.

Nannan was still dressed the same way, with her hands on her hips. She looked at the main hall with a frown on her face, "Why are you in a place like this?" Nannan seemed to know something.

"What is this place?" I asked, causing Nannan to remain silent for a long time and then sigh, "Why did you come here without knowing?"

"I...I was just strolling around." I touched the back of my head guiltily. Nannan said in a low voice, "If you don't know, go back quickly. If there's nothing else, I'll leave." After saying that, she disappeared.

I felt like someone hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. I was speechless for a while. I picked up the knife and prepared to cut my hand again. This time, to show that I was serious, I held the blade with my hand.

"What on earth are you doing?" Nannan was obviously a little angry, so I sat on the ground and said, "I don't have any hobbies, I'm just too curious."

My intention is obvious, I just want to know what's inside. Just kidding, I don't even know who the male and female protagonists are yet, how can I curry favor with them if I don't give them some triggering information?

Nannan is obviously helping me explore, so I must make good use of her. But I can’t say I’m taking advantage of her, I’m just asking her to help.

Nannan looked at me with a naughty look and didn't know what to do with me. "If you want to know, just go in and you'll know~" I looked at Nannan in shock.

It’s not this little brat, why doesn’t she learn something good? How could she learn something so quickly? I just didn’t dare to go, so I asked her out directly.

Nannan obviously saw what I was thinking. She looked at me with raised eyebrows, her face full of expression saying, I know you don't dare to go in.

You can bear it, uncle can bear it, but even aunt can't bear it. I looked at Nannan and said stubbornly, "Let's go, but you have to go in with me."

Nannan didn't refuse and agreed immediately. Then Nannan turned into a snake, "????, Nannan, you did this on purpose!"

Nannan crawled directly towards me. As it is a normal physiological reaction of a snake, I subconsciously wanted to run away. However, I was afraid that Nannan would laugh at me, so I endured it and did not dare to move. Resistance was written all over my body.

Nannan slowly wrapped herself around my body, and I got goosebumps all over. Nannan coiled around my shoulders, her tail wrapped around my upper arm, and her head rested against my ear.

Nannan felt slippery and cold, and she couldn't help shivering. I took the knife in one hand and the candlestick in the other and walked into the main hall.

When I pushed open the wooden door, a cold wind blew in my face. As soon as I entered the room, it was the same place where the elders sat in TV dramas, with two seats in front and five seats on each side.

The main hall wasn't particularly dark, but it felt eerie. I looked around for a long time with the candlestick but didn't see anything strange.

Nannan pointed me in a direction with her tail. I walked in that direction and saw a bed. It was so strange. How could there be a bed in a main hall?

I had a bad feeling in my heart, so I asked my daughter, and she nodded, "Do you really want to lie down?" She really didn't want to, and her heart was full of resistance.

"If you don't want to lie down, then go away and go back." Nannan leaned lazily on my shoulder. It was such a cute little girl's voice, but why did it sound so teasing?

I swallowed my saliva, walked quickly to the bed, and lay down on it, closing my eyes, waiting for something to happen. But there was no response for a long time.

I asked my daughter, "Why don't you open your eyes and take a look?" I opened my eyes doubtfully.

“Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I felt like I was screaming out the most heart-wrenching sound I’ve ever heard in my life.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a dried corpse hanging right above me. Its dry face looked hideous and its hair was hanging down, just like Sadako. This was the scene I saw when I opened my eyes.

I couldn't help but scream, I felt my heart stopped, I breathed in big gulps of air, it seemed like it was my illusion, why did I feel like the mummy was laughing.

"Nannan, is he smiling?" I asked Nannan in a trembling voice, already starting to cry. Nannan still said to me in such a cute baby girl voice, "You are so smart."

Before I could realize what it meant, I continued to scream, "Ah!!", and then the voice disappeared in the main hall.

Why? Because as soon as Nannan finished speaking, the bed turned over and I was transferred directly to another place. I felt like I was beaten.

When I turned over to another place, I rolled down and I felt like a ball. The passage was not very smooth and was full of potholes.

With a loud thump, I fell face first to the ground, and ate a mouthful of dirt. I slowly got up, but before I could stand up, Nannan pressed me down again, knocking my teeth and causing me pain.

"Nannan, you did this on purpose. You didn't change earlier or later, but you had to change into a human now. You're crushing me." Although Nannan is young, she can't stand the length of the passage. The impact of this coming down is still there.
