Chapter 530 Exquisite Antiques

Zhou Wanwan's jewelry store is located on a busy street in the city center and is decorated warmly and exquisitely.

The windows display a wide variety of jewelry, ranging from simple silver jewelry to gorgeous gemstones.

Zhou Wanwan is a woman with dreams. She hopes that through her own efforts, this small shop can become a shining pearl in the city.

That day, Zhou Wanwan was busy sorting out the newly arrived goods when her cell phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and saw that it was her best friend Qianqian calling.

"Wanwan, are you busy?" A shallow voice came from the other end of the phone, with a hint of urgency.

"I'm fine. I just finished sorting out a batch of new goods. What's wrong, Qianqian?" Zhou Wanwan answered as she walked to the door of the store, opened the curtains, and let the sunlight into the store.

"I have a special order and would like to ask you to help design a pair of earrings." There was a hint of excitement in Qianqian's voice.

"Oh? What kind of earrings?" Zhou Wanwan asked curiously.

"I want to combine leopard print and pearls to design a pair of earrings that are both wild and elegant." Qianqian's voice was full of anticipation.

Zhou Wanwan was stunned for a moment. Leopard print and pearls, these two elements seemed somewhat out of place to her.

But she knew that Qianqian was a person with good taste, and there must be a reason for her request.

"Okay, I'll try it." Zhou Wanwan agreed.

"Great! When can we meet to discuss it?" Qianqian asked.

"How about tomorrow afternoon? I'll wait for you in the store." Zhou Wanwan suggested.

"Okay, see you tomorrow afternoon." Qianqian said and hung up the phone.

Zhou Wanwan put down her phone and began to think about how to combine leopard print and pearls, two seemingly incompatible elements.

She walked over to her workbench, picked up a piece of white paper, and began sketching.

The next afternoon, Qianqian appeared in Zhou Wanwan's shop on time.

She wore a leopard print coat and a pearl necklace, looking fashionable and elegant.

"Wanwan, you're here!" Zhou Wanwan greeted her with a smile.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see your design." Qianqian responded with a smile.

The two walked to the workbench, and Zhou Wanwan took out a few sketches and handed them to Qianqian.

"This is my initial thought, take a look." Zhou Wanwan said.

Qianqian took the sketch and looked at it carefully. In the sketch, leopard print and pearls were cleverly combined, with both wild leopard print and warm pearl embellishments. The overall design was bold and exquisite.

"Great!" Qianqian couldn't help but exclaimed, "This is the feeling I want!"

Zhou Wanwan breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that her design had been recognized by Qianqian.

"Then let's take a closer look and see if there is anything that needs improvement." Zhou Wanwan suggested.

The two began to discuss the details of the design, from the leopard pattern to the size of the pearls, not leaving out any detail. Time passed unnoticed and the sky gradually darkened.

"Let's stop here today and continue tomorrow." Qianqian said, looking at the time.

"Okay, see you tomorrow." Zhou Wanwan sent Qianqian to the store door and watched her leave.

Back in the store, Zhou Wanwan began to tidy up the workbench, but she was thinking about tomorrow's design.

She knew that this order was not just a simple earring design, but also a testimony of the friendship between her and Qianqian.

The next day, Qianqian came to Zhou Wanwan's shop again. The two continued to discuss the details of the design, but this time, they encountered some difficulties.

"I think this leopard print is a bit too abrupt. Can it be softer?" Qianqian said with a frown.

"I also think there is something wrong, but I don't know how to adjust it." Zhou Wanwan sighed.

The two fell into silence, and the design seemed to have reached a bottleneck. Zhou Wanwan looked at the sketch and felt a little irritated.

She knew that this order was very important to her, not only because Qianqian was her best friend, but also because it was an opportunity for her to showcase her design skills.

"How about we take a break and change our thinking?" Qianqian suggested.

"Okay, let's go have a cup of coffee." Zhou Wanwan nodded in agreement.

The two walked out of the store and came to a nearby cafe. Zhou Wanwan ordered two lattes and they found a seat in a corner and sat down.

"Wanwan, have you ever thought about why we feel that leopard print and pearls don't go together?" Qianqian suddenly asked.

Zhou Wanwan was stunned for a moment. She had never thought about this question before.

"Maybe it's because we are used to associating leopard print with wildness, while pearls represent elegance and gentleness," Zhou Wanwan replied.

"Yes, that's the crux of the problem." Qianqian nodded, "What we need to do is to integrate these two feelings together instead of letting them exclude each other."

Zhou Wanwan nodded thoughtfully. She felt that what Qianqian said made sense.

"Then how do we do this?" Zhou Wanwan asked.

"I think we can start with the color." Qianqian suggested, "We can use a softer color to replace the black of the leopard print, such as brown or gold."

Zhou Wanwan's eyes lit up, she thought this was a good idea.

"Okay, let's go back and try it." Zhou Wanwan said.

The two returned to the store, and Zhou Wanwan began to try to design earrings with the colors Qianqian suggested. After some adjustments, she finally found a satisfactory design.

"Look, isn't this much better?" Zhou Wanwan handed the sketch of the new design to Qianqian.

Qianqian looked at it carefully and a satisfied smile appeared on her face.
