Name design

The name March is not her real name but a pseudonym. The designer wanted the player to be interested in her after hearing the name March 3, and to have a conversation with her about why she chose the date as her name and why this day has a special meaning to her, so as to deepen the communication with her. This seems to be March, so the name was deliberately chosen based on the month and day. In addition, March 7th is cute and mysterious, which is also one of the reasons for the choice.[7]

As a member of the train crew and the poster girl of Honkai Impact 71rd, her life experience seems to indicate that there will be a lot of information and a big story about her. It is believed that members of the train crew such as March th are a special existence for this game, and the designer does not mind making March th's story longer.[]

Destiny Design

The designers used the game's "Embark on a Destiny" function as a new attempt and exploration in a similar RPG context. So in 2024, the designers tried something new. For San Yue Qi, she would also have a system that was unique to her. However, her system would not be about embarking on a new journey, but about leaving behind memories, and then drawing strength from these memories. The designers hoped that one day in the future, she would be able to move towards a brand new future through the memories she had created in the past.[71]

Identity background
