Chapter 5 Waiting for you at last

The bright fire dissipated the chill of the night. Of course, for Ryan, who was sitting at the desk, such a small chill was not a big deal.Mobile terminal m.. "Bang bang" there was a knocking sound outside the window. When he heard the sound, Ryan stood up suddenly and walked to the window. He saw a gray owl stopping on the window edge, and the owl's left There was a letter tied to his leg, a letter from Hogwarts.

"I've finally waited for you. These three years have been too long." Ryan happily fed the small piece of bread on the table to the waiting owl, and then carefully removed the letter from the owl's left leg.

There is a shield-shaped coat of arms printed between the envelopes. The inside of the coat of arms is surrounded by a golden lion on a red background, a bronze eagle on a blue background, a black badger on a yellow background, and a silver snake on a green background, as well as these four animals. It is composed of the initial letter "h" of "Hogwarts".

The decoration surrounding the shield coat of arms is two ribbons with the school name and motto written on it.The school motto is a Latin phrase, "draiens nunquam tit", which means "leave the sleeping dragon alone".

Ryan opened the envelope with trembling hands and took out the letter paper inside. The light yellow letter paper neatly wrote:

Ryan looked through the letter in his hand excitedly, even though the letter contained only a few hundred words. After a while, Ryan finally calmed down his restless heart, took a long breath, and then put the letter back into the envelope and placed it on the desk under the "Magic Theory" on the table.

Ryan suddenly remembered that the letter required students to reply, so before the owl left, Ryan began to write a reply, "Dear Vice Principal Ms. Minerva McGonagall..." Ryan said After checking the reply twice, he tied the reply to the owl's leg, and the owl who received the task turned around and flew out of the window.

Ryan watched the owl fly away, but he was thinking about Ollivander's Wand Shop in Diagon Alley, imagining what his own wand would look like. "I don't know if my wand is made of birch or oak. It would be better if the core of the wand is made of dragon heart tendon. It is a dragon after all. I feel like it would be much more powerful with phoenix feathers."

"Little Ryan, it's time for dinner." Elena stood at the top of the stairs and shouted.

"Here it comes, Ma." Ryan stopped his fantasy and hurriedly prepared to go downstairs. When he walked to the door, he suddenly remembered the letter on the table, so he went back to pick up the letter and walked to the living room.

When Ryan arrived in the living room, Elena and Jason were sitting at the table chatting.Ryan quickly walked up to the two of them, holding the envelope in his hands behind his back. "Guess what I'm holding." Ryan asked with a smile.

"New potion?" Elena tilted her head and guessed.

"That's not right." Ryan shook his head.

"Oh, there's no need to guess. Elena, you forgot how old our little Ryan is this year." Jason suppressed a laugh at the side.

"I'm 11 years old this year." Elena replied doubtfully, "Ah! That's right! It's a letter from Hogwarts, right, little Ryan."

Ryan rolled his eyes dissatisfiedly to Jason who ruined his prank, then took out the letter in his hand, "Dangdang, look at what this is."

Elena took the letter from Ryan and couldn't wait to open it. Seeing the familiar content in the letter, Elena finally breathed a sigh of relief and happily handed the letter to her side and stretched it. Jason's neck wanted to read the letter.

"So, can I officially learn and perform magic this year?" Ryan asked, looking at Jason who was staring at the letter.

"Of course, you are already 11 years old, and you are old enough to use magic." Jason's attention shifted from the letter to Ryan, "And, I believe that little Ryan, with your talent, learning magic is very useful. It must be easy for you.”

"Of course." Ryan nodded matter-of-factly, confirming Jason's statement.Elena smiled at Ryan's boast.

"By the way, Elena and Jason, which college were you in before?" Ryan asked, remembering the sorting ceremony at the beginning of school.

"Jason and I are both students of Laclau. You don't know that in Laclau we have the only library of our own college among the four colleges." Irina replied with a proud face, "I believe it. Ryan, you will also be assigned to Laclau, right, Jason."

"This kind of thing depends on Xiao Ryan's own wishes." When Jason was about to persuade Elena, he found that Elena's expression was slowly becoming horrified, and he couldn't help but change his story. "Of course, there is a high probability that little Ryan will be assigned to Laclau. After all, little Ryan has liked reading since he was a child." After listening to Jason's forced explanation, Elena's face gradually warmed up, and she noticed this Jason couldn't help but wipe the non-existent sweat from his forehead.

Ryan looked at the guilty Jason and couldn't help but cover his mouth and laugh, while mentally imagining what he would look like studying in the academy in the future.
