Let the system try to save the world

The atmosphere in the air was so quiet that water could drip.

Neither of them dared to take the first step. Meng Ruyan remembered an urban legend that said that the imaging principle of electronic media such as mobile phones is different from that of the human eye, and therefore can capture things that are invisible to humans.

They also don't know where the big red thing is now. Will they enter its body if they take a step forward? Will they pass through it or hit it?

"Santong, take a look for me!" Meng Ruyan gritted his teeth and suddenly raised the mobile phone with the camera turned on in front of him. He closed his eyes tightly and made an expression as if he was ready to die.

"Ahhhh host, I dare not say no!" T233's scream stopped abruptly, "Uh, there is nothing."

"Don't scream in my head next time." Meng Ruyan rubbed her ears and put down the phone with a black screen. "Will the system be scared too?"

"It doesn't seem so." T233 said embarrassedly.

"No, what's your name?" Meng Ruyan turned to Gu Yugui and said, "That thing is gone, let's go over there quickly."

"Oh." Gu Yugui answered blankly and hurriedly followed.

After passing through the polar night corridor, they arrived at Penguin Island. Having stayed in the corridor for too long, the two were blinded by the suddenly bright light and raised their hands to cover their eyes at the same time.

"Over there." Meng Ruyan pointed to the direction where the energy was most obvious. A group of emperor penguins were staggering on the artificial ice surface, looking very cute. A line of parents with their children were queuing outside the emperor penguin house, waiting for the opportunity to interact with the penguins.

Meng Ruyan placed her palm against the glass wall and sensed it carefully for a moment. T233 also sensed it quickly and said with a sizzling sound, "He's there!"

"I have to go in." Meng Ruyan suddenly thought of something, "Why did Xitong want to switch seats with you just now?"

"He said the lucky draw on the big screen was decided internally." Gu Yugui said, "Originally, I should have been the one in trouble."

I knew he wouldn't do anything meaningless. Meng Ruyan understood. He observed the layout of the Emperor Penguin Pavilion and pointed to the ventilation duct. "That's the blind spot for surveillance. Let's go in from there."

"Wait a minute, wait a minute." Gu Yugui pulled Meng Ruyan's sleeve, "Mr. Meng, although I don't know how you became friends with Xitong, there are some things that you'd better not learn from him."

Gu Yugui took out a black card from his wallet, held it up and walked up to the staff at the Emperor Penguin Pavilion, saying, "I want to book the entire venue."

After buying passes for everyone in line, buying a grilled squid for each child, and paying a hefty fee for the entire place, the two successfully entered the Emperor Penguin Pavilion.

"I hate you." With the help of the staff, Meng Ruyan, who had changed into protective clothing, said to Gu Yugui expressionlessly.

"No, why?"

"I hate CEOs, especially those with the surname Gu!" Meng Ruyan shouted.

Even though she was about to be overwhelmed by her hatred of the rich, Meng Ruyan still stayed beside Gu Yugui with her tools. The two of them had no idea what would happen, so they had to ask the staff to stay away to avoid a big surprise that would be even more difficult to explain.

The other party's original target was Gu Yugui. Although Meng Ruyan was not sure that he could completely save Gu Yugui's life from the strange head and the mysterious red shadow, he could at least leave some more information for Xitong.

Gu Meng and his companion carried tools and searched the emperor penguin pavilion from top to bottom. The penguins initially thought that new humans had come in to feed them, so they followed them very attentively.

After nearly twenty minutes, Gu and Meng ignored the penguins. They went back to their own business, standing in the distance grooming each other or taking a nap. They huddled together and watched the intruding humans from afar.

"I can't find it." Meng Ruyan slapped the ice in frustration, "The signal is clearly here."

"There's nothing left to find underwater." Gu Yugui warmed up and threw away his coat. "I'll go down and take a look."

"Let me do it." Meng Ruyan breathed a sigh of relief at his fingertips that had turned cold. He rubbed his fingers. He had peerless martial arts to protect him, so it didn't matter if he had to soak for a while longer.

"Don't be modest at this time. I don't have any reason to let an omega soak in cold water." Gu Yugui poured some cold water on himself, making him shiver.

"Do you look down on omegas? How are omegas inferior to you?" Meng Ruyan raised her eyebrows.

"This is an evolutionary issue, not a discrimination issue." Gu Yugui smiled and jumped into the pool. "Omega's skeletal muscles produce less heat than alpha's. I will never compete with you for things like drilling ventilation ducts."

"Still a human being." Meng Ruyan muttered. He put the life-saving equipment where he could reach it and stared nervously at Gu Yugui's shadow in the water.

Gu Yugui's figure was like a nimble fish, and he quickly swam around the Emperor Penguin House. He emerged from the water to take a breath, and as if he suddenly discovered something, his face changed, and he took a deep breath and dived again.

Meng Ruyan quickly ran and jumped over on the ice. He reached out and lifted Gu Yugui up. The latter's teeth were chattering from the cold. Meng Ruyan quickly put on his military coat which he had taken off.

"In the ice." Gu Yugui shivered as he spoke to Meng Ruyan. He was so cold that he could hardly speak. Meng Ruyan had to lean over to his mouth to hear him clearly. "He's in the ice."

"I understand." Meng Ruyan signaled to send Gu Yugui out of the penguin house first. He was covered in water, which would accelerate the loss of his body temperature.

Gu Yugui shook his head. He insisted on making sure Xitong was safe before leaving. Meng Ruyan didn't say anything more. He was somewhat glad that he wore a pair of leather shoes with heels for the blind date today.

T233 accurately scanned the weakest part of the ice layer. Meng Ruyan kicked the ice shell. He poured all his spiritual energy into his foot, kicked and stepped on it, and finally created a crack in the frozen hard ice surface.

Gu Yugui came over wearing a military coat. He was holding a shovel from the toolbox, which was originally used to crush the frozen fish. Gu Yugui stepped on the shovel and used force to widen the crack little by little.

"Hey, what are you doing!" Even if they were chased away by this weird couple, the staff couldn't really just leave a room full of penguins and tourists alone.

As soon as he blinked, one of them fell into the pond and the other began to dig their ice frantically!

"Oh my god, why is it so cold!" As soon as the staff member pushed open the tightly closed door of the penguin house, he felt his hair stand on end. He looked at the thermometer and exclaimed, "Who set the temperature to minus 15?"

Then, the unfortunate staff member watched helplessly as the two crazy men dragged a man out from the ice. The man's chest had stopped moving and his face was pale, looking like a corpse.

It was better to say that it was a dead body. The staff sat down on the ground. They didn't know how long the ice had been frozen. They had never noticed that there was a person inside!

How could a person survive for such a long time?
