Genshin Impact: Descend to Teyvat Up Pool
Chapter 163 Albedo and Klee
After leaving the Knights of Favonius, Le Ran followed the main road to the Dragon Ridge Snow Mountain. The farther he got from Mondstadt, the fewer monsters there were.
However, even though the main road is far away from Mondstadt and the monsters are rare, there is no regular cleaning by the Knights of Favonius.
But even so far away from the main road of Mondstadt, the area changed from fist-sized slimes jumping around to occasional Hilichurls passing by.
On the way, Le Ran went to Qingquan Town to help kill some monsters. After delivering some magic beans to Duraf, he headed straight for the Dragon Ridge Snow Mountain.
After walking in the snow-capped mountains for a while, Le Ran discovered that the monsters on the snow-capped mountains did not seem to join in the fun and were still so dense.
After easily defeating some monsters that blocked his way, Le Ran soon arrived at the Sleeping Dragon Valley and found the campsite that Kaiya had marked for him.
Before Le Ran could start searching carefully, a familiar explosion sounded and attracted Le Ran over.
Le Ran quickly came to the place where the explosion occurred and saw a familiar red figure standing up not far from the explosion.
"Kelly?"
Keli was patting off the snowflakes stuck to her body. When she heard a familiar voice, she immediately turned around and saw Le Ran running towards her and shouted in surprise.
"Brother Le Ran, are you here to play with Ke Li?"
Le Ran ran to Klee, grabbed her shoulders and turned her around. When he found that she was not injured, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"You are too dangerous. Be more careful when doing experiments next time. If you do this again, I will tell Captain Qin and have her put you in solitary confinement."
It seems that it is Klee's nature to like explosions. Le Ran is unable to stop her, so he can only scare her by confinement so that she will be more careful next time.
When Keli heard about the confinement, she was really scared. She was so scared that she squatted on the ground, covering her head and muttering pitifully.
"Set fire to the mountain. Keli is doomed. Brother Leran, don't tell Captain Qin that Keli doesn't want to go to the confinement room."
Seeing how pitiful Keli looked, Le Ran's heart softened at once, and he reached out his hand to help Keli up. The sound of footsteps was heard not far away, followed by a slightly anxious voice.
"Someone let Keli go and plotted against Yang Hua."
A dense net made of rock elements flew over and instantly separated Le Ran and Klee.
Albedo was doing two things at once, controlling the net to push Leran away while running quickly to Klee to show his concern.
"Kelly, are you okay?"
When Klee saw that Albedo and Leran were about to fight, she quickly stood up and grabbed Albedo's arm and shook him.
"Don't fight. Brother Le Ran won't hurt Ke Li."
After Klee's explanation, Albedo also figured out what had happened. He waved his hand to disperse the large net that separated the three people, looked at Le Ran and apologized.
"I'm really sorry that I attacked Mr. Le Ran in a hurry just now."
Le Ran didn't care about what happened just now. He looked at Albedo with shining eyes and smiled heartily.
"You must be Mr. Albedo. Your exquisite control over elemental forces is eye-opening. You are worthy of the title of Mondstadt's number one alchemist."
Albedo had never met someone like Leran before. After being flattered by him, he was a little overwhelmed and could only smile and respond.
With Le Ran's continuous flattery, the two quickly resolved the misunderstanding and followed Albedo to his camp on the snowy mountains.
When they arrived at the camp, Le Ran took the juice brought by Albedo's apprentice Sugar and said thank you.
When Shatang heard Le Ran's thanks, her face suddenly turned red, and she quickened her pace and ran away like a frightened little rabbit.
Albedo smiled apologetically and said to Leran: "This is my apprentice, Sucrose. Please forgive me for being a bit shy."
Le Ran took a sip of juice and smiled.
"It's okay. Geniuses always have some peculiarities. That's normal."
When Leran said that Sucrose was a genius, Albedo did not refute him and just drank the juice quietly.
Le Ran put down the overly sweet sunset juice in his hand and went straight to the point.
"Mr. Albedo, I have three things to do when I go up the mountain this time. The first thing is that I haven't seen Klee for a long time."
When Keli heard this, she smiled broadly at Le Ran. Le Ran smiled back and continued.
"The second thing is, I want to ask Mr. Albedo, do you have any plans to do research somewhere else?"
Albedo was a little surprised to hear Le Ran's words. This was the first time he was flattered and the first time he was poached.
After the novelty wore off, Albedo turned around to look at Klee beside him and shook his head in refusal.
"Thank you Mr. Leran for your confidence in me, but I still have to help Aunt Alice take care of Keli, so I have no intention of leaving Mondstadt for the time being."
Le Ran, who knew a little about Albedo, nodded to show his understanding, and then told him the real purpose of his visit.
"Then Mr. Albedo, do you have any ideas for academic exchange? I would like to exchange knowledge about alchemy with you using knowledge from another world."
Albedo agreed without any hesitation. After all, in his eyes, alchemy was just a tool to complete his master's last task.
After the communication between the two sides, Albedo will have more tools to use and will be able to complete the tasks left by his master more quickly.
"That's great, Mr. Albedo, let's go to my territory now."
Le Ran waved his hand to open the space door, stood up and was about to lead the way inside.
Albedo looked at the space gate but did not move and asked.
"Mr. Leran, there is one last thing you haven't said."
Le Ran slapped his head and said embarrassedly.
"I was so surprised that I forgot about the last thing."
In fact, Le Ran did not forget at all. He just calculated that for someone like Albedo, it would be impossible for him to leave a problem unsolved and wait for him to speak first.
"That's all trivial. I just want to ask if there is a Fatui camp near Sleeping Dragon Valley. I have something to discuss with them."
Albedo frowned and thought for a while, then stood up and went to the studio to take out a drawing board.
Albedo picked up a pencil and made a few strokes on the drawing board, and then a sketch of a group of Fatui roasting a fire in the camp appeared on the paper.
"Mr. Leran, are these the Fatui you are talking about?"
Le Ran looked at the people in the painting and nodded repeatedly, then took out a map and said.
"Yes, it is them. Mr. Albedo, where is the place you drew? Let me sort out the matter and then we can have an academic exchange."
Albedo squinted his eyes and recalled, then reached out and tapped the map lightly. A dotted line appeared on the map with Dragon Valley as the starting point and Albedo as the center.
"The Fatui seem to be digging up the remains of the dragon Durin over there."
