Rocot: Reborn
Chapter 1 Rebirth
I was once the supreme ruler of the Shadow Realm, named Rocot. My name echoed across the universe like a nightmare, and under my control, even the smallest conspiracy could turn into a change of dynasty. However, on that bloody day, everything I had turned to dust as the Shadow Gate closed.
"Lockold, you damned traitor, I want you to live a life worse than death!" The curse of my enemy Soltan echoed in my ears. I felt as if I was thrown into an endless void. There was silence all around me, only my rapidly falling body and the growing despair in my heart.
Suddenly, a torn brilliance emerged from nothingness, extremely dazzling. The strange power in the crack surrounded me, and time and space became distorted. I'm not sure where this will lead, but escaping the current nightmare is already a great blessing for me.
"Boom!" There was a violent vibration and I lost consciousness.
When I opened my eyes again, a strange world was waiting for me. It was both dilapidated and futuristic, like an unfinished nightmare and a foreign land intertwined with fantasy. I stood on the ruins of a tower that was shining in decay, and looked around, but saw no living creatures.
"Huh? What is that thing?" A sharp female voice suddenly sounded in my mind. I looked around for the source of the sound, but saw only a black mechanical bird perched on my shoulder.
"Who are you? Where are you from?" I tried to keep my voice calm, revealing my majesty as a ruler.
"I am Exira, the guide of this world. I didn't expect you to be so rude and talkative." It answered me in a tone that seemed to be extremely impatient with my existence.
I felt annoyed. Even a machine dared to talk back to me. However, this new world was too unfamiliar to me. I had to understand it clearly before I could make new plans. I stared at Exira, evaluating whether it could become my first chess piece in this unknown world.
"Tell me, where is this place and how can we leave here?" I suppressed my anger, but my tone did not lose the dignity of a king.
Axilla's electronic eyes stared at me, as if trying to see through my surface to my heart. It let out a sharp cry, and then said, "Leave? Humph, do you really think you came to a dinner party and can leave gracefully after eating? Let me tell you, Rokod, welcome to the apocalypse. There is no so-called exit here!"
The sound echoed at the top of the tower, but it stopped abruptly. I stared at the world where decay and the future intertwined, and an unprecedented sense of challenge rose in my heart...
In the ruins of the apocalypse, I, Rocot, stood on the top of a tower, gazing at the strange landscape of this unknown world. The voice of the mechanical bird Exira still echoed in my mind: "There is no exit!"
"You are such a joker. I have to find a way back!" I smiled at it sarcastically, but in my heart I began to calculate the rules of this world.
Axia let out a shrill electronic laugh. "It was fun to let you out of your little dark room. You know, Rokod, the survival game here has just begun."
Compared to the cold void, the air here seemed to be filled with the flames of destiny. I looked around and saw endless ruins and explosions from afar. This world is a ruin, a crisis, and an opportunity.
I calmly stroked the mechanical bird on my head and said, "Tell me what the rules are here." My voice was filled with my usual cunning, as well as my curiosity and excitement about this new game.
Exira danced lightly on my shoulder. "Indeed, Rocot. This is a world where strength is everything. You need to build your power, gather resources, and survive at all costs."
The corners of my mouth curled up into an evil smile, which was very similar to my days in the Shadow Realm. I muttered to myself, "Collecting resources, building power... Isn't this what I do?"
"But don't be too happy too soon," Exira's voice suddenly turned cold, "Here, danger lurks in every corner, and every shadow could be a death trap. And you don't have any allies yet."
"Ally?" I laughed contemptuously, but I secretly remembered this word in my heart. In this new arena, even the most dangerous enemy can become a pawn to achieve one's goal.
As I was lost in thought, a burst of hurried footsteps interrupted my thoughts. I turned around and saw a group of hideous creatures, like corroded cyborgs, slowly approaching me with heavy steps.
"It seems that the game has officially begun." I clenched my fists, ready to face the first challenge of this new world. Behind me, Exira's electronic eyes flashed red light to indicate the battle, and I, Rokod, the player of this new world, was also ready to show my new chapter in this prelude of chaos and rebirth.
Facing the hideous cyborgs, I felt an inexplicable excitement in my heart. In the Shadow Realm, I was the invincible king. Now, in this doomsday realm, it is a brand new game.
"Not bad, a very interesting opponent." I muttered in a low voice, with a sinister smile on my lips, my excitement mixed with endless ambition. I didn't know when I was holding an energy sword that was shining with a faint blue light.
As the group of cyborgs approached, I could clearly see the protruding screws and rusty iron pieces on their bodies, as well as the vivid fire in their eyes that I had never seen before. This fire and the flame in my heart seemed to meet in an instant, stirring up sparks on the battlefield.
"Come on!" I shouted loudly, and rushed towards them with vigorous steps. The energy sword drew a perfect semicircle in the air, and struck the opponent in front of me like lightning. The cyborg was even unable to resist, and was cut down by my sword, and the hard body was immediately broken into pieces.
The passion for battle was like a burning fire, flickering wildly around me at this moment. Every time I swung my sword, my heart surged. This unknown world, these endless ruins, seemed to have become my object of conquest at this moment.
Aixira was circling nearby, its flashing red light seeming to be mocking my ambitions, or perhaps praising my courage. I had no time to tell, I only knew that every encounter made my heart surge.
"Don't be too happy, Roccod!" Axia suddenly said sternly, "These are just appetizers. The real challenge is yet to come."
I was silent for a moment, then burst into laughter. "Appetizer? Well, then I look forward to the main course. I, Rocot, am never afraid of any challenge!"
Just as I laughed, the ground suddenly shook, and a huge shadow quietly appeared in the depths of the ruins. Feeling this new threat, I clenched the energy sword in my hand, and my eyes flashed with the same red light as Exira's electronic eyes, preparing for the next more intense duel.
My laughter echoed in the wilderness, and in that wilderness, a new threat quietly arrived. Ripples appeared in the depths of the ruins, the energy in the air was distorted, and a huge figure slowly appeared, shaking the ruins around it.
I looked closely and saw that it was a larger body than the other cyborgs. Its mechanical parts looked more advanced and even gave off a dangerous aura. Its sharp claws flashed an ominous light, and it seemed that it could tear through the air and the sky at any time.
"It looks like a boss-type creature." Exira's voice sounded again, "Its data flow is extremely large, which means it has a high level of intelligence. You have to be careful."
A challenge is just what I want. I licked my lips, feeling the desire to fight flowing through my body. The appearance of this large robot in front of me not only did not make me feel the slightest bit of fear, but instead aroused the ambition and fighting spirit deep in my heart.
The large robot did not act immediately. Its mechanical eyes seemed to be analyzing me. After a brief silence, it finally launched an attack, firing an energy shell.
I took my time, holding my energy sword horizontally, and easily blocked the attack with minimal movement. Under my control, Exira flexibly rotated in the air to make her shooting angles more tricky, but I blocked them all with almost predictable reactions.
After some probing, I took the lead in attacking. I was like a black whirlwind, spinning rapidly around the large robot. The friction between the energy sword and the air made a sharp sound. Every time I chopped, I left an afterimage, accumulating pressure on the shell of the large robot.
Exira's data analysis sounded in her ears, "Its armor is being damaged. Your attack is effective against it."
I drew a cruel smile on my lips, increased my strength, and attacked more quickly. The energy armor value of the large robot began to drop significantly, and each confrontation brought it greater damage.
However, as the battle continued, the large robot's intelligent system seemed to make adjustments, and it suddenly became more agile, as if it had found its rhythm, and began to fight with me. I was amazed at its adaptability, and it also aroused my competitive spirit.
This game is becoming more and more interesting... I thought to myself, the light of the energy sword became more and more dazzling, my fighting spirit was rising, and I was ready to end this battle.
I transformed into a night shadow and moved around the large robot. The light of my energy sword was like a woven spider web, constantly looking for weaknesses in its structure.
The large robot brandished its heavy weapons and tried to fight back, but I dodged them all. Its movements seemed unusually slow under the data analysis of Exira. I shuttled around it like a butterfly, and every time the tip of my sword touched its vulnerable part, it would make its movements even slower.
"Very good. Its armor value is decreasing rapidly." Exira gave its analysis results. "At your pace, it will lose its combat effectiveness in ten encounters at most."
I didn't respond to Exira, my full attention was on the opponent in front of me. The rapid "whoosh" sound from the air accompanied Exira's shooting, and I, like dancing, followed the beat, constantly making evasive and attacking movements around the large robot.
The battle has entered a white-hot stage. The large robot desperately tried to reverse the situation, but was suppressed by my precise control. Every time my sword flashed, its energy armor value trembled slightly.
Finally, with a roar, its huge body finally collapsed under the heavy load. Its mechanical eyes flickered a few times, then gradually dimmed, and the entire structure fell into a temporary shutdown state.
Above the ruins, the only sound was the gasps of battle between Axia and I.
"Well done, Rocot," Axilla praised. "Your performance just now was simply a work of art."
I didn't say anything, I just stood there, feeling the desire to fight still surging in my body. I looked down at my hands. This was the first time I fully utilized my energy control ability without the help of a breakthrough.
I asked softly, "Exira, how many cyborgs are there in this world?"
Aixira floated slightly in the air. "According to detection, there are at least a thousand active structures nearby, and each one is as powerful as the opponent you just encountered..."
Hearing this, a challenging smile appeared on my calm face again, "Well, let me see how much fun they can bring me."
I stood in the cold silence, the bloody moonlight shone on the ruined land, and a piece of abandoned mechanical ruins was covered by shuttle shadows. I, Rokod, dressed in black armor, holding a glowing energy sword, destroying the old order.
My eyes suddenly opened, they were so calm, but they emitted the light of a hunter in the night. This new world is a challenging playground for me, a leader who returned from the shadows.
