Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 124

After the light faded, only Rocot was left in the center of the battlefield. He was wounded in many places, and the light of the Stone of Destiny raged in his body, causing him to feel a piercing pain. Although Hei Yu had been killed, the price was a heavy one that Rocot had never imagined.

In the fading light of the ruins, Rocot struggled to stand up. He knew he couldn't stay here for long and had to find a safe place to recover and heal his wounds.

Stumbling through the dilapidated streets, Roccod knocked out a drunkard and changed into his clothes. He used magic to disguise his face to avoid the pursuers. In this unfamiliar city, he wandered like a ghost, looking for a place to hide.

Under the cover of night, Rocot arrived at an abandoned power plant. It was far from human habitation, which just met his needs for concealment and safety. Deep in the factory, he found a corner to sit down and began to try to calm the pain in his body and the violent power of the Stone of Destiny.

He closed his eyes, and his breathing became deep and regular. He took out an energy crystal from his pocket, which was his only remaining source of energy. As the crystal gradually disappeared, a faint halo appeared around Rokod, and a strange wave made the surrounding dust seem to be still.

This kind of repair is not a one-day job. He spent the past few days in darkness and loneliness. The hatred in his heart did not weaken with the passage of time. Instead, it brewed more spicy and richer in his heart like wine.

When Rocot opened his eyes again, the cold murderous intent returned to his deep pupils. A gloomy determination quietly sprouted in his heart - he would not give up, and the darkness of the future world would tremble again because of him.

Roccod sat cross-legged in the abandoned power plant, the light of the energy crystal in his hand gradually dimming. As time passed, his wounds began to heal, but the power of the Destiny Stone in his body was still unstable and could explode at any time.

"I must completely control it this time." He said to himself, took a deep breath, and continued to focus on repairing himself.

At this moment, there was a rustling sound in the distance. Roccod opened his eyes suddenly, his eyes as sharp as a hawk. He stood up quickly, hiding in the shadows, and looked vigilantly in the direction of the sound.

"Damn it, there are actually people here." He gritted his teeth, a trace of uneasiness flashing through his mind.

A figure gradually approached, and Rocot recognized it as a homeless man in ragged clothes. However, as the man approached, Rocot felt a strange energy fluctuation.

"This is no ordinary tramp." Rocot sneered and decided to wait and see what happens.

The tramp wandered around the factory for a while, then suddenly stopped and looked up at the direction where Rocot was hiding. "Come out, Rocot, I know you are here."

Roccod was startled. The voice was low and cold, carrying a threat that could not be ignored. He slowly walked out of the shadows and stared at the other person. "Who are you?"

A sly smile appeared on the tramp's face. "Lockold, don't you remember me? I was your former subordinate, Snyder."

Roccod frowned, searching for the name in his mind. After a moment, his eyes became colder. "Snyder, the traitor I expelled from the Shadow Realm."

"It seems that you have a good memory." Snyder said slowly, "I came here to make a deal with you."

"Deal?" Rocot snorted coldly, "Do you think you are qualified to negotiate a deal with me?"

Snyder shrugged, showing a nonchalant expression. "Your current situation is not very good, is it? I have a potion that can stabilize the Destiny Stone in your body and restore your strength to its heyday."

A hint of doubt flashed in Rocot's eyes. "Why are you helping me?"

"Help you?" Snyder smiled even more evilly, "I just want to use your hand to eliminate our common enemy - Black Feather."

Hearing Kuroba's name, Roccod's eyes instantly became sharp. "You want to deal with Kuroba too?"

"He not only betrayed you, but also betrayed me." Snyder's voice was filled with hatred, "We all have a common hatred, don't we?"

Roccod was silent for a moment, his hatred and reason fighting fiercely. He knew that Snyder was not trustworthy, but now, he had no choice.

"Okay," Rocot finally said, "I accept your deal, but if you dare to play any tricks, I will let you know the consequences of betraying me."

Snyder showed a satisfied smile, took out a small bottle of black potion from his arms and handed it to Roccod. "I hope we can have a pleasant cooperation."

Roccod took the potion, and a trace of cold murderous intent flashed in his eyes. He drank the potion in one gulp, and the fate stone in his body began to calm down quickly. As his strength recovered, his heart became more determined.

"Hei Yu, wait." Roccod whispered, "I will make you pay the most painful price."

Snyder nodded, and the two looked at each other, as if they had reached a tacit understanding. They knew that the road ahead was full of blood and betrayal, but for revenge, they were willing to pay any price.

Roccod turned and walked out, his heart filled with endless hatred and strength. He knew that this was just the beginning, and the real revenge had just begun. And the end of Black Feather had quietly arrived.
