Rocot: Reborn

Scarlet light surged out of Rocot's eyes like a tide, quickly spreading throughout his body. His short black hair was dyed blood red, dancing wildly in the air like a dancing flame. The darkness of the laboratory seemed to be swallowed by the light, and everything around him became distorted.

"What the hell is this?!" Hei Yao stepped back in fear, the sharp blade in his hand trembling slightly. He had never seen such a strange sight, as if a demon from the depths of hell had descended upon the earth.

Evelyn was also stunned by the scene before her. She covered her injured arm and looked at Rocot in disbelief. This usually smiling and gentle man now exuded a terrifying aura.

"Obsidian, I told you that you will regret it!" Roccod's voice became low and hoarse, like the roar of a wild beast, shaking the entire laboratory.

He stood up slowly, staring at Hei Yao with his scarlet eyes, and a cold arc appeared at the corner of his mouth. "Do you think you can escape the judgment of the dark night?"

Hei Yao suppressed the fear in his heart and shouted in a timid voice: "Stop playing tricks! Just because you have recovered a little bit of strength, do you really think you are invincible? Brothers, come on! Kill him!"

"You...don't come over here!" Hei Yao looked at the scene in front of him that was like the Asura hell, and was so scared that he collapsed to the ground, with a foul smell coming from his crotch.

Roccod walked towards Hei Yao step by step, and every step seemed to step on his heart, making him feel suffocated. "Hei Yao, do you still remember how you betrayed me?"

Hei Yao's face was pale, his lips were trembling, but he couldn't say a word. In the beginning, in order to seize Roccod's power and status, he teamed up with other confidants to plot against him, and finally ended up in disgrace.

"Do you think I still care about those material things?" Rocot's voice was cold and ruthless, like a chill wind from the Netherworld.

The energy ball in his hand became brighter and brighter, and a terrifying aura spread, as if it would devour Obsidian in the next second.

At this moment, the door of the laboratory was suddenly blown open, and a group of fully armed soldiers rushed in, led by Evelyn's brother, the imperial general Ivan.

"Stop! Rocot!" Ivan raised the energy gun in his hand and aimed it at Rocot.

Rocot frowned slightly, his scarlet eyes swept over Ivan and the soldiers behind him, and a playful smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. "What? Do you want to stop me too?"

"Lokkod, you have no way to escape! Just surrender!" Ivan shouted harshly, but his hand holding the gun was shaking slightly. Obviously, he was also shocked by the terrifying strength that Rokod had just displayed.

"No way to escape?" Rocot seemed to have heard something funny. He laughed up to the sky, his laughter full of disdain and ridicule. "You think you can stop me with just these scrap metals? Ivan, you overestimate yourself and underestimate me!"

"I know you are strong, but don't underestimate the power of the empire!" Ivan gritted his teeth and said, "You have killed so many imperial officials. Today, I must bring you to justice!"

Rocot stopped smiling, his scarlet eyes like two sharp blades, piercing Ivan's heart. "Bring him to justice? Ivan, you and I both know where your sister Evelyn is and what she is doing. Don't you feel disgusted that you come here and put on such a righteous attitude?"

Ivan's face suddenly turned livid, and the fingers holding the energy gun turned white because of excessive force. Rokod's words were like the tongue of a poisonous snake, stinging his soft spot. He knew that Evelyn had completely embarked on a path of no return in order to obtain Rokod's power.

"Shut up! You have no right to mention my sister's name!" Ivan roared, and his index finger that pulled the trigger trembled slightly.

"What? Are you angry because I said it right?" Rocot's mouth curled up a sarcastic smile, "Ivan, you are such a poor guy, being kept in the dark by your own sister, and working for her like a loyal dog. Aren't you curious about why she sent you away?"

Ivan was silent. Rocot's words stirred up a storm in his heart. He had always believed that everything Evelyn did was for the future of the empire, but Rocot's words were like a poisonous thorn that pierced deeply into his heart, making him begin to doubt whether his persistence was really correct.

"That's enough, Rocot! I won't let you seduce my brother again!" A cold voice came from the door of the laboratory. Evelyn, wearing a black dress, walked over slowly. There was a sickly paleness on her face, but her eyes were unusually firm.

"Evelyn..." Ivan turned his head and looked at his sister in disbelief, "You...why are you here?"

Evelyn ignored Ivan. Her eyes were fixed on Roccod, with a complex light flashing in her eyes. "Roccod, you really didn't disappoint me. You recovered your strength so quickly."

"It's the same to you. You didn't let me down. You actually dared to betray me and collude with outsiders to deal with me." Rocot said coldly, without any emotion in his tone.

"Betrayal?" Evelyn chuckled. "I have never been loyal to you. I have only been using you and your power to achieve my goals."

"What is your goal? To destroy the world?" Ivan looked at his sister in disbelief. He couldn't believe that the girl who was once gentle and kind would now say such terrible words.

Evelyn ignored Ivan, her eyes were still fixed on Roccod, her tone full of madness and paranoia. "Roccod, you know what? I have been studying your power, and I found that you have a power that can destroy the world!"

"You want this power?" Rocot raised his eyebrows, seemingly not surprised.

"That's right! I want to get your power and become the master of this world!" Evelyn opened her arms as if she wanted to embrace the whole world. There was a crazy light flashing in her eyes, as if she was possessed.

"Evelyn, you're crazy!" Ivan shouted in horror. He wanted to stop his sister, but was held down by several soldiers behind Evelyn.

"Ivan, don't worry about me. This is a matter between Rokod and me." Evelyn said coldly, then she turned her head and stared at Rokod with burning eyes, "Rokod, give me your power! I can make you the god of this world!"

Rocot looked at the woman in front of him who had fallen into madness, and a mocking smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"The God of this world? How ridiculous..."
