Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 319

"Brother..." Arya timidly pulled at the corner of Rocot's clothes. She had never seen such a terrifying side of her brother. The dancing black flames seemed to be staring from the abyss, which made her shudder. She wanted to stop her brother, but she knew that she couldn't stop him, and perhaps, she shouldn't stop him at all.

"The police are here!" A panicked voice from deep in the corridor broke the standoff.

Hearing this, Black Snake seemed to have grasped a life-saving straw, and a cruel look suddenly appeared on his originally pale face: "Lockold, you are so bold, you dare to act wildly in my territory and dare to go against the police? I think you are tired of living!"

Roccod glanced at him with contempt, and the black flame in his palm shrank slightly, as if mocking his bluff: "You think you can stop me with those rubbish?"

Alia's heart was in her throat. She nervously grabbed the corner of her brother's clothes, fearing that there would be a bloody storm in the next second.

"Boss, the cops are outnumbered, we..." The younger brother who came to report the news was kicked to the ground by Black Snake before he could finish his words: "Useless! Hold on until the cops come in, I will use Rokod's head as a sacrifice today!"

"Yes!" Although the younger brothers were afraid, since the boss had spoken, they had no choice but to rush forward.

"You don't know your own limitations." Roccod snorted coldly, and the black flames turned into sharp blades, knocking down the younger brothers who rushed over one by one. They didn't even have time to scream before they turned into black ashes.

Alia covered her mouth in horror. She knew her brother was very strong, but she didn't expect him to be this strong. How could he be considered a human? He was clearly a demon from hell!

"Are you scared?" Rocot looked down at his sister, a cold smile on his face. "This is just the beginning. The best is yet to come."

Alia shook her head. She was not afraid, or rather, she was more afraid of losing her brother. She tightly grasped the corner of her brother's clothes, as if she had grasped the last straw to save her life.

"Bang!" The door was pushed open by a huge force, and a group of fully armed policemen rushed in.

"Don't move! Put down your weapons!" the leading police captain shouted loudly, but when he saw the scene in the room clearly, he couldn't help but gasp.

The ground was covered with black ashes, the air was filled with a sickening burnt smell, and the tall figure and the dancing black flames in his hands all indicated what a fierce battle had just taken place here.

"Lo...Lokode?" The police captain's voice trembled a little. He recognized this former legendary figure, now a wanted criminal.

"Long time no see, Captain Zhang." A wicked smile appeared on Rokod's lips, with black flames swirling in his hands, as if he would transform into a ferocious beast at any time to devour anyone.

"You...you actually dare to come back!" Captain Zhang clenched the gun in his hand. He knew how powerful Lokod was, but it was his duty and he had to stand up.

"What? You want to arrest me?" Roccod laughed contemptuously, and black flames formed a barrier around him. "You rubbish, are you worthy of it?"

"Lokode, I advise you to surrender. You have no way to escape!" Captain Zhang said calmly, but his hand holding the gun was shaking slightly.

"No way to escape? Hahaha..." Rocot laughed loudly, his laughter full of mockery and disdain, "I, Rocot, have never used the word 'escape'!"

He took a sudden step forward, and the black flames turned into a sharp arrow, shooting straight at Captain Zhang.

"Bang!" With a gunshot, the bullet accurately hit the black arrow, but did not destroy it, but only slightly slowed down its speed.

"Damn it!" Captain Zhang cursed inwardly. He knew that ordinary bullets would have no effect on Rokod, so he quickly took out a special tranquilizer bullet. However, before he could reload, the black arrow was already in front of him...

At this moment, a petite figure suddenly stood in front of Captain Zhang, and the black arrow pierced her body without any hindrance, leaving a bright flower of blood.

"Alia!" Rocot exclaimed, looking at the scene in disbelief.

Black flames burned on Arya's delicate body, like the fire of hell devouring an innocent butterfly. Her thin body slowly fell down, and in Rocot's pupils, it grew bigger and bigger, and finally occupied his entire world.

"Arya!" Rocot screamed, panic appearing in his voice for the first time. The black flames extinguished in his hands, and he rushed forward, hugged his sister who was lying in a pool of blood, and stroked her pale cheek with trembling cold fingers.

"Brother..." Alia opened her eyes weakly, a trace of blood oozing from the corner of her mouth, but with a relieved smile, "Don't... don't kill anyone anymore..."

“Shut up! Who told you to block for him?!” Roccod roared, but there was a subtle tremor in his voice, “Do you know what you are doing?!”

"Brother...you are a good person..." Alia breathed hard and stretched out her hand, wanting to touch Roccod's cheek, but her hand fell weakly, "Don't...be blinded by hatred..."

"Idiot! What do you know?!" Rocot's eyes were red, but he was stubborn and refused to shed tears. He hugged Arya tightly, as if he wanted to rub her into his body, but he was afraid of hurting her.

"Ahem..." Arya coughed violently, blood gushing out from the corner of her mouth, staining Roccod's collar red. "Brother...promise me...don't make mistakes again..."

"I..." Roccod opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but nothing came out. For the first time, he felt so powerless and so desperate.

"Locked!" Captain Zhang came back to his senses from the shock, raised the tranquilizer gun in his hand, and pointed it at Locked's back, "Your sister is trying to save you..."

"Bang!" A gunshot sounded, and Captain Zhang's words came to an abrupt end. He looked down at his chest in disbelief, where a gorgeous black flame was burning, burning his flesh and blood, and also burning his soul.

"You..." Captain Zhang uttered a word with difficulty, his eyes went dark, and he fell heavily to the ground.

Rocot slowly stood up, black flames burning around him, illuminating his handsome yet distorted face. His eyes were filled with madness and pain, like a wounded beast, roaring silently in despair.

"Brother..." Alia stretched out her hand weakly, trying to grab Rocot, but she grabbed the air. Her consciousness gradually blurred, and the world in front of her gradually fell into darkness, but she seemed to see that in the endless darkness, there was a faint light, which was the last bit of kindness left in Rocot's heart.

"Arya!" Rocot looked down at his sister, a trace of pain and struggle flashing in his eyes. He stretched out his hand, wanting to touch her cheek, but pulled back as if he had been electrocuted.

"Lockold..." An ethereal voice sounded in Lockold's ears, as if it came from a distant time and space, "Don't... give up..."

Roccod raised his head suddenly and looked around, but he could not see anyone. He closed his eyes and listened carefully, but he could only hear the whistling wind and his sister's weak breathing.

"Who is it?" Rocot asked in a low voice, with a barely perceptible tremor in his voice.

"I am..." The ethereal voice sounded again, but was suddenly interrupted, as if it was forcibly cut off by someone.

"Damn it!" Rocot roared, and black flames burned wildly around him, as if they were going to burn the entire world to ashes.

At this moment, a mysterious man in a black cloak suddenly appeared in front of Roccod. He could not see the mysterious man's face, but only a pair of deep eyes, as deep as the vast starry sky.

"Who are you?" Roccod asked vigilantly. The black flames condensed into a sharp sword in his hand and pointed at the mysterious man.

"I'm here to help you." The mysterious man said calmly, but there was an unquestionable majesty in his voice.

"Help me?" Rocot sneered, "Who do you think you are? Why do you think I will believe you?!"

"You have no choice." The mysterious man said calmly, "Your sister's life is in your hands."

Rocot's heart sank suddenly. He looked down at his dying sister in his arms, and a hint of hesitation and struggle flashed in his eyes.
