Chapter 349: Solemn and Awesome
Earl Carlton and other nobles all looked nervous, but they were full of trust in Su Chen.
"What should we do, Mr. Su Chen?" asked Earl Carlton.
"We need to organize a defense force immediately and send out a reconnaissance team to understand the movements of the monsters." Su Chen said decisively, "Only by mastering detailed information can we formulate effective countermeasures."
The nobles nodded in agreement, and they quickly took action and deployed according to Su Chen's instructions. Su Chen led several elite warriors to personally scout the forest.
After passing through the town, Su Chen and his group quickly came to the edge of the forest. They entered the forest carefully, looking for traces of monsters. There was a tense atmosphere in the air, and the surroundings were so quiet that it made people feel uneasy.
"Everyone be careful and stay alert." Su Chen reminded in a low voice, his sharp eyes scanning everything around him.
Soon, they found some traces of monsters. There were obvious claw marks on the ground and torn marks on the tree trunks. Su Chen squatted down and carefully examined these marks, trying to determine the number and type of monsters.
"There are quite a lot of these monsters, and they are very powerful." Su Chen said in a low voice, secretly worried in his heart.
"We need more information," a warrior said. "Keep scouting forward and maybe we can find their nest."
Su Chen nodded and led the team deeper into the forest. Suddenly, a low roar came from the front, and they quickly hid behind the bushes and observed the source of the sound.
Not far away, a group of monsters were gathering. They were huge and their eyes were flashing red. Su Chen held his breath and carefully observed the movements of these monsters. He realized that these monsters were more ferocious and dangerous than the last time he encountered them.
"We can't act rashly," Su Chen whispered, "We must take this information back and formulate a detailed battle plan."
The team retreated quietly, trying to avoid alerting the monsters. They returned to the town and reported the information they had gathered to Count Roland and other nobles.
"These monsters are more dangerous than we thought," Su Chen said, "We must mobilize all our strength to fight them."
Count Roland nodded, his expression serious: "We will fully cooperate with you, Su Chen. What are your plans?"
Su Chen thought quickly and proposed his own battle plan. He suggested dividing into several teams, one team would be responsible for the frontal attack to attract the monster's attention; another team would go around the monster's flank to launch a surprise attack; and another team would be responsible for protecting the residents of the town and ensuring their safety.
The nobles all agreed, and they quickly organized their men and deployed them according to Su Chen's plan. The whole town entered a state of emergency, and everyone was preparing for the upcoming battle.
"Everyone, stay calm," Su Chen said to everyone, "We have the confidence and ability to defeat these monsters. As long as we unite as one, we will be able to protect our home."
As night fell, a tense atmosphere filled the air above the town. Su Chen stood on the city wall, looking into the distance at the direction of the forest, his heart full of determination and courage. He knew that this battle was not only about the safety of the town, but also about whether he could find clues to return to his own world.
"I won't let you down." Su Chen led the nobles through the manor and came to a building at the back. This building looked more solid than the surrounding ones, and there were two fully armed guards at the door. Su Chen nodded to the guards and signaled them to open the door.
"This is my armory, which contains various weapons and ammunition." Su Chen explained, pushing open the heavy door and inviting the nobles in.
The door slowly opened, and a cold breath hit me. Inside the armory, various weapons were neatly arranged, ranging from ancient cold weapons to modern firearms. The walls were covered with various long swords, bows and arrows, battle axes, and rows of guns and ammunition boxes that shone with metallic luster.
"This is what you need," Su Chen said confidently, "Whether it's offense or defense, here we have the best equipment."
The nobles walked into the armory with amazement in their eyes. Earl Carlton picked up an exquisite short sword and looked at it carefully: "The craftsmanship of this sword is unparalleled and its sharpness is unparalleled."
Another noble tried a lightweight crossbow and nodded with satisfaction: "These weapons can indeed greatly enhance our combat effectiveness."
Su Chen walked to a row of spears, picked up one, and swung it vigorously a few times. The spear drew a sharp arc in the air: "These are the spears I brought from the East. They are very suitable for close combat."
"Mr. Su Chen, these weapons can greatly enhance our defense," Earl Roland exclaimed, "With these, we will be more confident in fighting those monsters."
Su Chen nodded: "We must be fully prepared to ensure that every soldier has the best equipment and protection."
While the nobles were carefully selecting their weapons, Su Chen was thinking about a deeper problem in his heart. He knew that weapons alone were not enough to completely solve the problem, and he had to find the root cause of the monsters and completely eliminate the threat.
"Everyone," Su Chen said, attracting everyone's attention, "We not only have to rely on these weapons, but also need to formulate a more detailed battle plan. I suggest that we divide into several teams, each responsible for different tasks."
Count Roland and the other nobles nodded in agreement. Su Chen continued, "The first team will be responsible for confronting the monster head-on, the second team will be responsible for flank raids, and the third team will protect the residents of the town and ensure their safety."
"This operation is very dangerous," Su Chen emphasized, "We must remain highly vigilant and united. As long as we work together, we will be able to defeat these monsters."
The nobles expressed their agreement, "Wow!" the nobles exclaimed as they entered.
They saw rows of firearms, ranging from ancient muskets to modern bombs. Each weapon exuded a cold metallic luster and was neatly arranged on the shelves, looking solemn and awe-inspiring.
"Mr. Su Chen, these weapons are incredible." Earl Carlton walked to a row of muskets and looked at each weapon carefully.
"These are treasures I collected from all over the world," Su Chen explained, "each one has a unique history and background."
The nobles walked towards the weapons they were interested in. Some were studying the exquisite muskets, while others were curious about the glittering grenades. Su Chen led them forward and introduced the origins and characteristics of each weapon.
