Naruto: Sasuke and Naruto Hot Heaven

Chapter 102 Kakashi's Procurement

Xuanjian was very satisfied with the brief blush on Lei Tong's face, but what made him even more satisfied was that Lei Tong leaned over and gave him a passionate kiss, slow and affectionate.

While enjoying the kiss, Xuanjian gently scratched Lei Tong's neck with his nails, along the scar, until his hand touched the back of the captain's neck, and then he pulled Lei Tong close to him.

Lei Tong's body stiffened for a few seconds under his pull, and then he held his chin with a big hand and deepened the kiss. But in the end, he still left with a gasp.

He gently rubbed Xuanjian's cheekbone with his thumb, as if to comfort him.

"I really have to go," Lei Tong said firmly, "before you start doing something I can't cooperate with."

Xuanjian snorted in dissatisfaction.

"You talk like I'm horny."

He stole another kiss before Lei Tong completely left his attack range.

"Can't you go later?" He said as he kissed her again, this time more deeply.

Lei Tong dodged with a wry smile.

"It can't be too late." He retorted, tactfully backing away from Xuanjian's "attack range". "I will be back very late tonight, unless there is an emergency at the border."

Xuanjian muttered a few words in dissatisfaction, and his body almost completely pressed on Lei Tong, with their foreheads pressed tightly together.

"Be careful," he said seriously.

"Yes, sir." Lei Tong said in a low voice with a gentle smile on his face.

This smile only appeared when they were alone, and he kissed Xuanjian's nose lightly as a farewell.

After Lei Tong left, Xuanjian lay back on the bed and watched him jump out of the window with his backpack on his back and disappear into the morning light.

Xuanjian stayed in bed for a long time before getting up lazily.

He had no missions scheduled until tomorrow at midnight, so he was going to take advantage of this rare opportunity to relax for as long as his well-trained body would allow.

When he finally got up and prepared to enjoy his breakfast - coffee, coffee, and maybe some more coffee - he found that Lei Tong had already prepared breakfast for him: a plate of rice balls, placed between him and the coffee machine, carefully wrapped in plastic wrap, with a note next to it:

【Don’t just drink coffee, remember to eat. 】

The cunning bastard knew him all too well.

To express his protest, Xuanjian deliberately poured himself a cup of coffee first, then unwrapped the rice ball and ate it slowly.

It wasn't until his stomach started growling that he realized he was really hungry, so he wolfed down two more.

After two cups of coffee and three rice balls, Xuanjian finally felt that he had regained some energy.

He showered and changed into a sleeveless ninja suit and a pair of identical old sweatpants, getting comfortable and at ease.

He casually tied his hair into a short ponytail and planned to go out for a walk and bask in the sun.

He hadn't had a good walk for a long time, and the sun was shining brightly. He put on his sandals and walked out of the house.

He strolled in the sunshine for about half an hour, and then he saw a familiar figure in the market: his short silver hair stood out in the crowd.

"Hey, Kakashi!" he yelled, "I thought you were going to sleep in today!"

Kakashi was selecting something from a stall selling various belts and straps when he heard someone calling him and turned around. He had a bundle of bamboo tubes and a large roll of rice paper under one arm and a long weapons bag in the other.

"I have something to do." Kakashi shrugged nonchalantly. Genma raised his eyebrows, pointed at the weapon bag in Kakashi's hand, and asked:

"For your students?"

"Some necessary equipment for sword training," Kakashi explained.

"Is A-rank Chakra-reinforced steel 'necessary' for a Genin as well?"

"They deserve the best," Kakashi said firmly, then smiled awkwardly, "Although to be honest, they are still Genin in name only."

"Iruka has been saying that." Genma nodded and walked over to Kakashi. "Are you looking for matching braces?" He looked at the dazzling array of belts, wrist guards, scabbards and leg guards on the stall and couldn't help blinking. The quality of these equipment was excellent, but the prices were ridiculously low, which made him a little suspicious.

He looked at the stall owner in surprise. He was a dark-skinned young man with short, curly blue-black hair. He was obviously not a local. His skin color was more like he was from the Land of Lightning or the Land of Water, not the Land of Fire. "Are you kidding me, kid? Where did you get these things?" he asked.

The young man smiled sheepishly.

"A gentleman asked me to set up a stall here." He answered Genma's first question, then smiled and nodded at Kakashi. "If there is anything wrong with the price, please forgive me. I used to be a bounty hunter, so I am not very familiar with this industry."

"I came here just after he opened." Kakashi whispered to Genma, "The kids already have some basic equipment, like pouches for scrolls and kunai, but..."

"But these are the best." Xuanjian added for him, patting his pocket, "Oops, I forgot my wallet."

"If you can help me choose, it's my treat."

Xuanjian agreed very readily. He didn't even laugh at Kakashi's behavior of "pampering students" because he had already set his eyes on a new wrist guard that could be used to hold a complete set of poison needles.

"Kakashi, you're such a slacker, but I take back what I said about you being a selfish bastard."

Kakashi gave a lopsided but genuine smile behind his hidden features and turned to the young vendor.

"Is it okay if I pay you what I think it's worth, as long as it's above your asking price?"

The poor kid looked shocked, as if he didn't understand why Kakashi would bring up such a thing.

"I think... I can..."

"Oh, that's great." Xuanjian said happily, grabbing the well-made wrist bags on the table and ignoring the price on the small piece of paper in front of him.

Genma and Kakashi began a debate about practical value versus luxury value, discussing prices two or three times the marked price. The child watched in amazement as they agreed on a suitable number, Kakashi handed the shocked young man a bundle of bills, and Genma happily tried it on.

"Where did you get this leather?" Xuanjian asked.

"I... I got them from hunting. It's mostly a hobby," the boy admitted, stuttering. "Those particular wristbands came from the black deer in the Barrow Mountain, in the Southern Land of Thunder."

"What a difficult journey," Kakashi exclaimed.

The young man shrugged.

"I take the beaten paths to avoid the robbers. They sometimes lead me to interesting places. I don't understand - the blacksmiths in the prairie countries tell me they are not worth anything..."

Xuan Jian roared:

"I hate civilians. Look, kid, this is ninja-grade stuff—what the hell are you selling in the country?"
