Quick Wear: I'm bound to the love strategy system
Chapter 162 The Noble Mad Duke * The Speculative Girl (20)
When April received the message from housekeeper Huff, she was tired of crying. She lay on the bed, hugging her quilt, looking at the sun outside the window.
She couldn't help but start thinking of Strahl. The existence of such a person in the world was destined to make people have improper thoughts about him.
April felt that Strahl treated her differently, but she didn't know if it was the same as when she watched monkeys in a circus.
That's why she didn't want to gamble, even though she knew her heart beat for Strahl.
The large bunch of unopened water lilies she bought was placed by April on the table by the window.
It was not convenient to handle the water lilies in the room, as April thought she would have to get water later.
There was a knock on the door and April pressed her hands to her face before opening it.
This effect is better than nothing, but at least it can make you look more energetic.
When I opened the door, I saw Butler Hef, and there was no one carrying a vase behind him.
April asked him in her still nasal voice.
"Mr. Huff, can't you find a suitable vase?"
She knew this was unlikely, but a lady should learn to find a way out when she is rejected.
Butler Huff looked at April's eyes which were still red after crying, and did not point out the matter.
"My dear April, how could that be possible? My Lord heard that you were going to deal with the water lilies, so he told me to tell you that you could go to the greenhouse."
It would be much more convenient to go to the greenhouse, but April was a little confused as to why such a small matter as her wanting to raise water lilies had reached Stral's ears.
She didn't ask, but had a vague guess in her heart.
Duke Blanchett might actually be interested in her.
April remembered what the teacher had said.
The best way to gracefully reject a gentleman who has not yet fully revealed his intentions is to pretend that you know nothing.
Then keep your distance from him, so as to preserve the dignity of both of you to the greatest extent.
The two of them were far enough apart that they were not often seen in the castle.
Then all you need to do is the first step.
Pretend you know nothing.
April didn't really want to go out at this time, but she couldn't refuse Blanchett's kindness.
Besides, going to the greenhouse is just the right place to take care of your own flowers, it’s just a little further away.
April said she would pack up first before leaving.
Butler Huff said to April meaningfully as he left.
"Shara, if you see an adult, you can ask him what he likes."
April smiled and agreed, but she didn't think she would ask.
What Blanchett likes has nothing to do with her. Her only task at Blanchett Manor now is to leave with dignity and without any stain.
Thinking of going to the greenhouse, April put on the culottes she had worn when she went to pick grapes that day.
This time she was still wearing the same pair of brown deerskin boots.
Such clothing makes her movements more convenient.
April tied up all her long hair, like a flower bud that had not yet fully bloomed.
She took out the powder she brought from home and covered the redness under her eyes.
I cried for so long that my voice became hoarse.
April didn't know where the flower room was, so she asked the maid.
When they heard that she was going to the greenhouse and that it was Strahl who asked her to go, they all showed great enthusiasm.
April declined another maid who wanted to take her there and walked in the direction she pointed.
She walked up the grassy slope, getting closer and closer to the sun.
April didn't like this. She always felt that there was some common secret between them that only she didn't know.
This feeling sucks.
But she could probably guess.
This greenhouse was probably some kind of forbidden area, a place they were not allowed to enter.
They wanted to send me there, and most likely they also wanted to see what the greenhouse looked like.
April looked at the scenery along the way and felt that her decision to wear pants was the right one.
Although there were some strange looks, so what?
You can't walk far wearing a complicated skirt. You can only sit indoors like a fragile vase.
The maids told April that the most conspicuous and brightest building she saw as she went up the road was Blanchett's greenhouse.
After seeing the greenhouse, April understood the longing in their eyes.
This greenhouse stands quietly, like a bright crystal, shining with a dreamy light in the sun.
It is so pure and transparent, perfectly embracing the beauty of the flowers within.
April opened the door and felt like she had entered a fairyland.
The colorful colors intertwined together are like a gorgeous visual feast, and the floral fragrance in the air is rich and intoxicating.
April had seen many plant illustrations, but there were still many plants in the greenhouse that she could not recognize.
This is the difference in vision. Her eyes can only see what her vision allows her to see.
April hugged her water lily and looked at her reflection in the glass. April wanted to escape.
In this bright and clean world, nothing can be hidden.
Just when April was about to take a look at the door and then slip away, she saw Strahl with his long hair tied up high.
He is more dazzling than all the flowers among them.
He took a pair of shears and cut off the branches of the hydrangea.
The move was so quick and efficient that April couldn't help but feel a little sorry.
Strahl's appearance made her stop in her tracks, and she held her simple flowers like a quail.
When Stral saw the dazed April, he said nothing, but just turned his head and smiled at her.
April walked up to him in a daze.
She looked at Strahl and said nothing.
Strahl asked April in his gorgeous, elegant voice after he finished pruning the hydrangeas.
"Do you want to keep water lilies in your room?"
April stopped admiring the flowers in the greenhouse and looked into Strahl's purple eyes.
Strahl asked her questions and April answered them honestly.
"Well, I want to keep them in my room, so I want to find a big vase."
Strahl took one from April's arms, observed its bud and stem, and lowered his head to sniff it.
Her eyelashes fluttered, and the lines of her neck were more beautiful than the branches of a rose.
"With so many water lilies, they won't look good no matter what kind of vase you put them in. The best thing to do is to take out four of them and discard the rest."
April is bewitched by his charm, but she will not change her mind because of his beauty.
"But they must be beautiful when put together."
Strahl looked into April's eyes and said, "Shara, if you want to be beautiful, you have to learn to make choices."
