Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 21 Hephis is going to show off

"Hephis, don't fight anymore. I don't want you to get hurt."

"Hey! I don't want to either, but there are always some blind people who come to provoke me."

"Then beat them all down! They won't dare to mess with you again."

Hephis looked at Hermione in disbelief and forgot to swallow the food in his mouth.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Hurry up and eat."

"No, I just feel like you wouldn't approve of other people fighting."

"Don't forget, I'm a Gryffindor, a lion." After saying this, she bared her little white teeth, looking fierce and aggressive.

Hephis was amused by her appearance, "Okay, I'll listen to you."

I have to say, this girl Hermione really loves studying. I have basically spent the past two days hanging out in the library with her.

Moreover, Hermione's little brain works really fast! After reading a book once, she can basically remember most of it.

This made Hephes drool as he looked at her shadow.

Monday morning was Charms class. Although Professor Flitwick's class was interesting, it was not yet a practical class. It was all theory, which made Hephaestus drowsy.

There was Transfiguration class in the afternoon. Hephis arrived at the classroom early, but was very disappointed to find that the person standing in front of the podium was Professor McGonagall herself.

Oh! I thought I could see Professor McGonagall, the cat.

It's a shame he was ready for catnip a month ago.

This was the only chance in a student's life, but he missed it.

Hephis greeted Professor McGonagall politely and found a seat to sit down.

When Professor McGonagall saw Hephis, her eyes lit up.

"Today, we are still turning matches into needles." Professor McGonagall said seriously, "I hope that after a week of practice, you will all be able to succeed."

Professor McGonagall walked up to Heffie, "Heffie, let me see, I believe this should be very simple for you."

"Okay, Professor."

Hephes waved the magic wand in his hand gently, and an exquisite needle appeared on the table.

The needle tail is a regular oval shape, the needle body is smooth and slender, the needle tip is sharp, and it exudes a silver luster.

"A beautiful silent spell! Although I don't quite agree with the little wizard learning Transfiguration on his own without the supervision of an adult wizard." Professor McGonagall nodded with satisfaction, "Five points for Slytherin."

Professor McGonagall asked again, "I heard that you can already transform living creatures?"

"Yes, Professor, I can handle some small creatures."

Professor McGonagall looked at Hephis expectantly.

Hephis waved his wand again, and a white kitten appeared on the table, looking exactly the same as it had the last time Professor McGonagall visited his house.

"Clap, clap, clap!" Professor McGonagall led the applause. "Amazing Transfiguration talent! Twenty more points for Slytherin!"

Hefeth humbly thanked him.

"Hephis, you can practice transfiguring some other objects."

Hefeth was away from class all afternoon.

From time to time he would conjure up different small animals, attracting the envious glances of other little wizards.

Professor McGonagall would occasionally come over to watch him.

When the class was over, Professor McGonagall called Heffies: "Heffies, please stay for a moment. The others are dismissed."

"Professor McGonagall."

"I never thought that your talent for Transfiguration would be so amazing. Albus couldn't do what you do when he was your age." Professor McGonagall said with emotion.

"Professor, I feel embarrassed by your praise." Hephis smiled a little embarrassedly.

"Hephis, Transfiguration is very dangerous. You can try to practice it on ordinary creatures, but never touch magical creatures." Professor McGonagall warned seriously.

"Professor, I know my limits."

"I'd like to invite you to join my Transfiguration Club."

Hephis hesitated for a moment and replied, "Professor, I have a lot of confinement now, I don't know how long it will take..."

"Professor Snape has already told you about your situation. It starts at 2pm on the last Friday of every month. The location is at the portrait of the harpy witch on the fourth floor."

"Yes, Professor, it's my honor," Hephis agreed.

In the evening, Hephaestus stepped into Snape's office early.

"Professor, good evening."

"Choose the middle piece of hellebore, one inch each." Snape continued to correct the homework without looking up.

"Okay, Professor." Hephis shrugged and started working.

"The spell dries quickly."

"Okay, Professor."

Hephis began to work swiftly, chanting spells from time to time.

After more than an hour, Hephis finally finished processing all the hellebore.

"Professor, I've taken care of it."

Seeing that Snape ignored him, Hephis looked around the office boredly.

On the right wall, two tall shelves were filled with all kinds of jars, containing some very disgusting specimens.

Suddenly, with a "bang", a book was thrown heavily in front of Hephes, scaring him.

"When you have memorized it well, you can come back later."

Hephis looked at the book which was thicker than the width of his palm and was speechless.

Was he exiled?

Hephis asked tentatively, "What about Thursday night detention?"

Snape said coldly: "Remember it and try again."

"Understood Professor. Goodbye Professor."

Looking at Snape's gloomy face, Hephis chose to follow his heart.

Hefeth stared down at the 2000-plus pages of "Secrets of Advanced Memory".

The old bat is crazy!

Hephis looked constipated as he held the book.

Still need to take a silhouette!

Hephis looked at the portraits in the dormitory corridor and walked back to the dormitory with a sense of despair.

The portraits on the wall can all move around, and who knows if one of them is Dumbledore's spy.

Even Voldemort was not brave enough to do something that might harm his students right under Dumbledore's nose.

It's not that there is no way. He thought of a spell - the Illusion Spell.

He had read about this spell in a book before, but he just didn't know how to perform it.

Hefeth felt a headache after reading "Secrets of Cutting-Edge Memory".

He flipped through it casually and saw only some introductions to schizophrenia, memory disorder, etc.

What the hell is this! It's not magic at all.

No, why did Snape give him this book? Did he think he was crazy?

Damn old bat, so abominable!

Hephis turned to the back and finally saw a few spells: Memory Extraction Spell, Memory Stripping Spell and Oblivion Spell.

Hephis looked over the Memory Stripping Spell carefully, which can forcibly strip away unnecessary memories.

However, the operation is very difficult and may cause brain damage if you are not careful.

However, he does have a natural advantage: the memories in his brain are fragmented, which means he does not need to cut the memories, he only needs to choose.

Snape really loved him after all, and he even found a way to solve his brain problem.

Hephis didn't dare try the spell now.

After all, this is the brain, and if you make a mistake, you may become a fool.
