Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 59: Preparation before the Lover Chapter

It was Wednesday, February 2th, and the bell for the end of get out of class had just rung.

Hephis rushed out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom like a flash, with sparks and lightning all the way.

I met Snape in the Potions classroom, who was still packing up potions after class.

"Professor Snape." Hephis gasped.

The four-year-old badgers and eagles who had not yet left the classroom looked at Hephis with confusion.

One of the senior students' face instantly turned red when she saw Hephis.

She hurriedly packed her things and prepared to leave with her roommate.

"Hephis Dam, you must have had a class just now!" Snape raised his head and said lightly.

Hephis didn't say anything, but looked around the classroom.

Many little badgers and little eagles were taking their time packing up their things.

A book was pulled out of the bag and put back in again, over and over again.

Eh, that senior schoolmate... Hephis' heart moved, as if he had seen her somewhere.

"Don't you need to eat lunch?" Snape asked coldly.

Why does this line sound familiar?

The little wizards who were still dawdling immediately picked up their schoolbags and ran out.

In less than 3 seconds, only Hephis and Snape were left in the classroom.

"Professor, um...there is something I want to discuss with you." Hephis finally mustered up the courage to speak.

"explain."

"It's about the detention tomorrow night. Can I take a leave?" Hephis asked cautiously.

"Hephis Dam, was your brain eaten by the troll?" Snape started spraying venom directly.

"Professor, tomorrow is Valentine's Day." Hephis said in a low voice.

Snape was stunned.

"Professor, I think tomorrow night..." Hephis was interrupted by Snape before he could finish his words.

"I don't want to see you now, or tomorrow." There was a hint of impatience in Snape's tone.

"Thank you, Professor." Hephis happily saluted Snape and turned to leave.

"You will receive two bottles of Felicis Felicis tomorrow," Snape said suddenly.

Hephis was stunned and looked back at Snape.

But Snape acted as if the words just now were not his own and lowered his head to continue sorting the potions.

"Thank you, Professor Snape."

Snape stopped moving only after Hephes left.

He sat in his chair, leaning back and staring at the ceiling of the classroom.

Slytherin half-bloods and Gryffindor Muggle wizards, I hope you can make it to the end.

Hephis walked towards the auditorium with a cheerful step.

It was the gift he was supposed to give Hermione for Christmas.

Because of the necklace, this gift stayed.

Now there is something better.

Snape is awesome!

Hephis greeted her and sat down next to Hermione with ease.

Ever since Hephis always asked Hermione to have dinner together.

No one else had ever sat in the two seats next to Hermione.

After all, Hephis's "evil reputation" is occasionally mentioned when Gryffindor and Slytherin are confronting each other.

They were still very happy to see the little Slytherin wizard looking constipated.

Therefore, Hephis's special seat was still reserved.

"Hermione, um..." Hephis hesitated.

"What's wrong, Hephis?" Hermione asked puzzled.

"That's right, you know what day tomorrow is!" Hephis asked tentatively.

"What day is tomorrow?" Hermione pretended to be confused, but a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

"Tomorrow is... are you free tomorrow night?"

"Tomorrow night! Let me think! It seems like nothing is wrong, but also like something is wrong." Hermione continued teasingly.

Hearing this, Hephis could no longer help but understand that Hermione was trying to make fun of him.

"Hermione, I would like to invite you to dinner tomorrow night." Hephis looked up at Hermione.

"Okay." Hermione agreed without hesitation.

Suddenly she seemed to remember something, "That's not right! Aren't you going to be put in solitary confinement tomorrow night, Hephis?"

"I asked for leave from Snape," Hephis explained.

"Um... can I take leave during detention?" Hermione was a little confused.

"Of course. Snape is very easy to talk to."

Hermione was shocked and thought to herself: It's because you are a Slytherin, otherwise you would definitely be talking in your sleep.

"Hermione, let me tell you! Snape is a very nice person, and he..."

Hephis stopped talking immediately because he found that many little lions nearby were looking at him.

Hermione obviously noticed this as well, "Hephis, eat first."

Then he started adding food to Hephis's plate.

February 2th, night, astronomy class.

Hephis and Hermione huddled in a corner of the observatory again, looking at the stars.

"Hermione, I want to take you somewhere tomorrow."

"Where is it?" Hermione looked at Hephis curiously.

"Hogsmeade."

"Is it that wizard village? I heard the seniors mention it."

"Ah."

"But tomorrow isn't Open Day, and we're not even in third year yet, so we can't go," Hermione asked puzzledly.

"I know a secret passage that we can pass through quietly." Hephes smiled.

Hermione frowned, "But that would be against school rules."

"Hermione, remember what I said? It would be against school rules if you were caught."

"But what if we are discovered?"

"No, don't worry!"

"But..." Hermione was still a little hesitant.

"I know how to cast the Disillusionment Charm. If we find anything wrong, we will immediately become invisible," Hephis promised.

Hermione looked at Hephes's eager eyes, and finally softened her heart and agreed.

Early morning, Thursday, February 2th.

Hephaestus received a package from Snape while he was having breakfast.

He did not open it, but put it carefully into the small bag, and two bottles of Fuling potion arrived.

July 2, 14:4 pm.

Hephis and Hermione had just finished their flying lesson and came together to the Gunhilda corridor of Gosmoor on the third floor.

Hephis looked around and saw that there was no one around. The young wizards should have gone to the auditorium to eat.

He struck the statue of the hunchbacked one-eyed witch with his wand, "separating left from right."

The hunchback of the witch statue slowly split in the middle, revealing a deep stone slide.

Hephis lit his wand and slid down with Hermione.

I have to say, this slide is really exciting.

Hermione held onto Hephes' arm and screamed for a full 10 minutes before she stopped.

Hephis picked his ears and felt a little uncomfortable. He looked helplessly at the shy Hermione beside him.

Hermione was also a little embarrassed. She had indeed screamed too loudly just now. She could only lower her head and tidy up her clothes silently.

Hefeth looked at the slide again, and it seemed that he could not go back.

Forget Valentine's Day, he took Hermione's hand and walked up the stairs, which were a full two hundred steps.

Finally I saw the trap door that the twins had mentioned.

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief.
