Hogwarts in the shadows
Chapter 61 Snape takes the blame
The next day, in the Potions classroom, Hermione brought the "bad news".
Harry, Ron and Draco stayed out too late with Novia last night.
So when they returned to the castle, it was already curfew.
Then, tragically, the three of them were caught red-handed by Professor McGonagall.
They were each docked fifty points by Professor McGonagall and had to serve detention.
Hefeth said that these three fools simply deserved it.
Since Novia was moved to the box, everyone has been taking care of Novia in the box.
It is basically impossible to tell time in the box, so it is easy to miss it.
Hermione had reminded them long ago to pay attention to the time, and she even asked Harry to carry an invisibility cloak with him just in case.
But those three guys basically didn't listen.
It was usually okay when Hephis was around, after all, his shadow could help him find the way.
So there were no problems.
Hephis and Hermione went to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday, so I wasn't with them.
These three guys are still wandering around the castle carefree, they either kneel or sleep on their knees.
"Hephis, what should we do?" Hermione's voice was full of anxiety and worry.
"What can we do? It's just detention, right? Look, isn't Draco still cheerful?" Hephis didn't care at all.
If you don't put yourself in confinement during school, can it still be called school?
He was almost welded to Snape.
As for deducting points?
It's just fifty points. It's no problem with Snape there.
"Not them, but us. What if Professor Flitwick remembers?"
Hermione's hands were shaking more and more as she was cutting the Christmas cactus, and the poor Christmas cactus was almost broken by her.
Hephis gently held Hermione's little hand, took the knife, and began to skillfully cut the Christmas cactus.
"Hermione, don't worry! Professor Flitwick will definitely not remember. I guess he didn't see clearly that it was us yesterday." Hephis comforted her.
Hermione was still worried. "But I'm afraid if points are deducted, both of us might get more than 50 points."
Her voice became quieter and quieter, and her thumb kept ticking the nail of her index finger.
Hephis thought for a moment and said, "Hermione, how many points have you earned for Gryffindor this school year? Have you calculated it yourself?"
"No." Hermione shook her head.
"Look..." Hephis said, and suddenly felt a chill.
He turned around and saw Professor Snape standing next to them, staring at them coldly.
Snape's hand was raised at this time, and if Hephesus hadn't noticed it, the slap would have probably fallen.
Hephis immediately lowered his head and pretended to concentrate on cutting the Christmas cactus.
Snape's slap didn't fall in the end. "Chatting in class! Gran... Slytherin will lose 1 point."
After saying this, he swung his wide robe and went to cause trouble for the next group of unfortunate people.
Hermione was so frightened by this scene that she didn't dare to talk to Hephis anymore.
It wasn't until dinner that Hermione finally felt relieved.
Because they happened to meet Professor Flitwick at the door of the auditorium.
The amiable old man just greeted them gently and left in a hurry.
In the Gryffindor common room, Harry and Ron had just finished their detention punishment and returned to the common room tired and worried.
The first thing they saw was Hermione, who was curled up on the sofa, reading a book and waiting for them.
"Hermione, Voldemort is in the Forbidden Forest, and Snape is working for him to steal the Philosopher's Stone." Harry said to Hermione anxiously.
"No, what's wrong with you Harry?" Hermione was almost frightened by Harry's appearance.
Harry's clothes were now covered in dirt, and his glasses were hanging crookedly on the bridge of his nose.
Harry took a deep breath and told Hermione exactly what happened in the Forbidden Forest.
He also told Hermione all his guesses.
"In other words, you suspect the person who sucked the unicorn's blood is Vol...You-Know-Who." Hermione said nervously.
"Yes, and Snape is definitely working for Voldemort," said Harry firmly.
"Don't mention that name again!" Ron warned in a panicked whisper.
"But Hephis once told me about Snape..." Hermione hesitated.
"Hermione, you must never tell Hepherd about this." Harry interrupted her with a firm tone.
"Why?" Hermione frowned in confusion.
"Because the person who wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone was Snape." Harry said in a deep voice.
"Then we should tell Hepherd to be careful of Snape!" Hermione retorted.
"No, Hermione. Hermione is a Slytherin and he trusts Snape. If he tells Snape, Harry will be in greater danger." Ron interrupted.
"But..." Hermione wanted to argue.
"Hermione, stop talking. Snape is so good to Hephesus, he won't hurt Hephesus." Ron comforted.
Harry ruffled his hair irritably. "Alright, Hermione. The problem now is that Voldemort is about to make a comeback, and the centaur Bane thinks Voldemort should kill me."
Harry panted and continued, "So now I can only stay here and wait for Snape to steal the Philosopher's Stone, and then Voldemort will find this place and kill me."
"Harry, could you please stop mentioning that name!" Ron said again in a low voice.
Hermione could see that Harry was very scared and tried to comfort him first.
"Harry, everyone says You-Know-Who is afraid of Dumbledore. As long as he's around, You-Know-Who can't hurt you."
As the sky gradually brightened, they stopped talking and returned to their dormitories.
The next morning, Hermione hurried to find Heffernan and told him everything that had happened to Harry last night.
But she didn't mention Snape, she just said that Voldemort might be hiding in the Forbidden Forest and trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone.
In fact, Hephes realized it when he heard someone drinking unicorn blood.
That guy should be Quirrell, not Voldemort at all.
But he really didn't expect that Quirrell not only dared to kill the unicorn, but even dared to drink the cursed blood.
Quirrell was just crazy.
"Hermione, Dumbledore is still here. It's not Harry's turn to worry about this." Hepherd comforted.
"But the mysterious man disappeared because of Harry. He will definitely seek revenge on Harry." Her words were full of worry.
"Hermione, if the You-Know-Who wants to take revenge on Harry, he has to wait for him to be resurrected first."
Hephaestus paused, "As long as Harry stays in Hogwarts and doesn't come to the door himself, no one can touch him."
"But the Philosopher's Stone is at Hogwarts. If You-Know-Who gets it..." There was a hint of fear in Hermione's tone.
"The Philosopher's Stone? That thing is being watched by Dumbledore. It's impossible to steal it from under his nose." Hephis didn't believe that Voldemort could do it.
Although he said this, Hephis still had some doubts in his heart.
Why did Dumbledore put the Philosopher's Stone in the restricted area on the fourth floor?
Wouldn’t it be nice to carry it with you?
He put the Philosopher's Stone outside, which was simply a naked temptation!
Hephis was a little moved.
