Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 191 How to Open a Factory in the United States

When he arrived inside the factory, Cedric was completely shocked by the scene before him. Compared with what he had seen along the way, the abandoned factories were desolate and dilapidated.

The interior of this small factory building appears so neat and clean, with bright white energy-saving lamps hanging on the roof.

The entire factory building was illuminated, and huge machines with shiny metallic luster were running in an orderly manner.

There is no loud noise like traditional factories, only the subtle sound of motors turning.

High-tech robotic arms work non-stop, feeding raw materials into huge machines and arranging the finished products neatly.

The workers, wearing white dust-free suits, carefully check the finished goods and package the qualified ones.

Everything was so orderly, clean and tidy, even the ground under their feet was not the gray cement floor of a traditional factory.

The entire place is paved with bright white tiles, and separated only by a layer of rolling doors, one side is a dilapidated crime city.

Another production factory full of modern technology, with Cedric standing at the gate.

Looking at everything in front of him, he couldn't help but turn his head to look outside. Under the cover of darkness, a cold wind blew through the dilapidated factories outside.

The rusty machine, like a damaged musical instrument, made an unsettling sound.

Heaven and hell are separated by a wall.

"Boss, you are finally here."

A burst of joyful shouts drew Cedric's attention back to the interior of the factory, where he saw a black young man in a black suit.

He was walking towards the two of them quickly, wearing a well-fitting suit and a bright red tie.

He looked so proper and professional, but unfortunately he seemed to be uncomfortable with his new clothes and his tie was a little too loose.

The buttons of his suit were not buttoned, and some exaggerated tattoos could be vaguely seen at the open collar of his shirt.

He walked quickly to Karl, greeted him enthusiastically with all kinds of hip-hop gestures, and then hugged him.

Carl introduced Cedric.

"His name is Deandre, a Brooklyn native and former leader of a small gang."

“Now I am responsible for the production.”

Having said that, Carl looked at Deandre and asked seriously.

"How are Jamas and those kids? Are they falling behind in their studies? I told you that scholarships are not given for nothing."

“At the same time, they should put aside some unnecessary thoughts and not think that they are just attending a private high school in downtown New York for a few days.”

"They will be truly accepted by those people. We said that the only good university majors they can choose are mechanical manufacturing and law, and the worst case scenario is that they have to be doctors."

"Your brother said he wanted to study classical art. I think his brain was squeezed by the door when he was shot last time."

"The bullet didn't hit his arm, and I haven't heard that it blew up his brain."

Deandre seemed a little nervous, rubbing his hands and nodding quickly.

"I know that most of the boys are very obedient, but there are always some who have other ideas."

"They forget they were born in Brooklyn, they forget they were once part of a gang, and I'll have people remind them."

"Oh, by the way, I have already sent people to deal with the coffee shop run by the police gang, but the pressure from the higher-ups is quite high."

“They still don’t want to leave our territory.”

"Is that so?" Carl sneered, "Send a few guys with baseball bats to smash their windows. This is how you deal with it."

"When did you become so generous? Follow the old rules and hang their dog tonight."

"If you don't want to leave, send someone to set fire to the cafe. They are police officers during the day and just like you and me at night."

"It's just a traditional story, gang vendetta."

Deandre nodded quickly, saying that he would arrange for someone to do it right away, and then took Carl and Cedric with him.

They began to visit the factory in front of them and visited the production workshop.

During this process, Cedric discovered that these workers seemed to be the same as Mr. Deandre.

They are not very adaptable to their current identities. Their work is not very professional, although their work attitude is positive.

But his words were full of foul language and his actions were rude and violent.

However, Cedric did not ask Karl these questions on the spot. He just followed him silently.

Soon they arrived at the product packaging department. Carl picked up a bottle of freshly packaged medicine and examined it carefully.

Satisfied nodded.

"Well done. This thing is much better looking than the powder packaged in a plastic bag. What do you think?"

A joke made everyone present laugh, but when everyone laughed the loudest.

Karl suddenly looked at all the workers present with a stern look and spoke coldly.

"But in the end, no matter how the packaging changes, the contents remain the same, if I find anyone."

"You know the consequences of secretly using this drug. Don't forget where you lived before."

After giving the warning, Carl looked at Deandre again and asked calmly.

"Have those DEA guys been here? How's it going?"

"I've been here before," Deandre replied quickly. "It's pretty much the same as expected, although we have a report from the American Physicians Association."

"And the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) issued a certificate, but those guys obviously still want to make a profit."

"After we promised to donate to them regularly, these guys left satisfied."

"It's okay." Carl waved his fingers and said nonchalantly. "It's normal. I've almost dealt with Washington."

"Wait another week. Once I get the drug management certificate from Germany, it will be fully launched on the market. By then, that little money won't matter at all."

"But we also have to deal with the IRS (Federal Revenue Service) and don't forget where we got these raw materials from."

After explaining all the details, Carl patted Dean's shoulder like a leader, signaling him to do a good job.

As for other employees, Carl took a more direct approach to rewarding them. He openly took out his magic ring.

He took out five large bundles of brand new US dollar bills, unsealed the bundles, and threw them directly into the air.

Then he turned around and left with Cedric, leaving the workers in dust-free suits to scramble for the money.

Cedric followed Karl to the factory director's office, and as soon as he entered the door.

Cedric yelled angrily.

"You lied to me. You said you were not involved in this crime, but what is this? You lied to me."

As he said this, Cedric, with tears in his eyes, was about to slam the door and leave.

As a result, just as he moved, he was suddenly pressed down on the sofa by a powerful force, and Karl pressed his shoulders with both hands.

She looked down into his eyes and questioned him angrily.

"What the hell are you doing? When have I ever lied to you?"
