Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 345 Carl's Christmas Gift

"Don't say things that could be misunderstood."

"Mr. Hohenzollern, this is not something a leader should say."

After Carl said these disgusting words, Cedric and Kevin Lestrange's faces turned visibly red.

The two of them quickly sat up from the ground and turned their backs to Karl.

Carl, who was pinned to the ground, was finally able to get up and looked at the backs of his cats and dogs with relief.

In fact, he felt a little embarrassed to say such corny words, and he didn't know how he could say them.

It seemed as if it came out of his mouth suddenly, or perhaps it was driven by some emotion hidden in his heart, but it didn't matter now.

He did not disturb the two people who had their backs to him. He just sat on the ground with his back straight, slowly looked up at the starry sky, and enjoyed the peace that was more than ten minutes late.

The three young men were standing in an open space in the mountains after the snow. There was not a single cloud in the sky, only countless bright stars twinkling.

The cold air also seemed to become gentler. To put it in a more literary way, it might be because of their ideals for the future.

But in reality, the three people were just unconsciously moving closer to each other because of the cold.

When the three bodies leaned against each other, their body temperature made the surrounding air much warmer.

The surrounding is a world covered in silver. The snow covers the entire mountain range, reflecting the starlight, as if the earth is also participating in this starry feast.

The mountains in the distance appear even steeper under the moonlight, while the trees nearby are covered with crystal clear icicles, like works of art carefully crafted by nature.

Time seemed to stand still at this moment. The three young men merged into one with the starry sky and the snow, forming the purest picture in the world.

"Happy holidays gentlemen, it's an honor to work with you."

After an unknown amount of time, Karl slowly spoke, with his usual unfocused smile on his face.

"I hope you like my gift to you. You know, I spent $2000 million on this magnificent view."

"It is indeed beautiful." Kevin Lestrange nodded silently. He pointed his finger to the sky, his eyes revealing an unprecedented calmness.

Ever since he followed Carl to the United States, his eyes have always been filled with fatigue and helplessness.

And at this moment, just as Carl said, the brilliant Milky Way was reflected in his eyes.

The vastness of the universe was covered by the small eye sockets, and the long-lost tranquility made him more and more fascinated.

But he quickly returned to reality and turned his head slightly to look at the manor.

"But next to such a beautiful scene, there is a manor full of decay and sin, which does ruin the atmosphere."

"How about this, Mr. Hohenzollern? I'll give you a holiday gift as well. How about we work together to wipe this building off this world?"

"That's great." Carl laughed happily and was about to get up from the ground, but was held down by a small fat hand.

Kevin Lestrange looked down at him and said seriously.

"You don't need to help with this. Since it's our gift, of course we have to complete it."

He said it very seriously, but in Carl's eyes it was very funny, because he was looking at a child who was only 11 years old.

The person standing there was only half a head taller than me who was sitting on the ground. He looked down at me and said these words with a serious tone and expression.

Besides, his voice hasn't changed yet, so no matter how he performs, it still exudes a sense of childishness.

But Carl was very obedient. He sat on the ground motionless, watching Kevin Lestrange kick Cedric, who was sleeping on his shoulder, and wake him up.

"Who kicked me?" Cedric, who was kicked awake, was still a little confused after seeing Kevin Lestrange's face clearly.

He instantly became furious, but Kevin Lestrange grabbed him and pulled him towards the two large oil drums.

Then he patted one of the oil drums with his hand.

"You carry this with magic or yourself. We are going to fill every corner of that manor with the gasoline in here."

"Why?" Looking at the huge oil drum, Cedric immediately became unhappy.

"It's okay if you don't want to." Kevin Lestrange looked indifferent. He took out his wand and began to try to use the levitation spell to control one of the oil barrels.

While speaking casually.

"Mr. Hohenzollern just said that the open space and the beautiful starry sky above are his Christmas gifts to the two of us."

"Although this gift is a little cheaper, I am still very satisfied with it. I also know that some people only know how to sleep on other people's shoulders."

"I never look up at the sky, but since we have received gifts from others, shouldn't we also prepare gifts in return?"

As he spoke, Kevin Lestrange easily used magic to make the huge oil barrel float in the air above his head.

"It's not that I can't do this job by myself, I just want to finish things here as soon as possible."

"That's why I'm giving you half of it. You can of course choose to refuse as long as you prepare a better gift."

After saying that, Kevin Lestrange turned around and left, and the oil barrel above his head also floated away.

Looking at his back, Cedric was so angry that his teeth were itching, and he cursed him a hundred times in his heart.

He had no choice but to take out his wand and imitate the other party in using the levitation spell to control the remaining oil barrel.

Following behind the other person, he walked towards the manor.

About 20 minutes later, Cedric, reeking of gasoline, followed Kevin Lestrange with his head down.

Returning to the open space they had been in before, Carl couldn't help laughing as soon as he saw the two of them.

"You two look a little too embarrassed."

"You're still laughing." Kevin Lestrange suddenly became a little angry, and he squinted his eyes at Cedric behind him.

"You can't even do such a simple thing. We are wizards. We can use magic to control those two oil barrels, but you insisted on doing it yourself."

"The stains on clothes can be removed with magic, but what about the smell on your body? That's really stupid."

After scolding Cedric, he turned his anger towards Carl.

"I don't know where you found this idiot."

"Maybe we are fools too." Facing Kevin Lestrange's questioning, Carl smiled generously.

He reached out and touched the other person's face and head, then wiped the stains on his own body casually.

"Well, don't blame Mr. Diggory anymore. I'm also a stupid idiot who smells of gasoline now."

Looking at Carl with a silly smile on his face, Kevin Lestrange could only sigh helplessly.

He reached out and held down Carl's right hand as he was about to take out the wand, then he took out a Zippo lighter and a pack of Marlboro cigarettes from his trouser pocket.

He handed it to the other person and smiled helplessly.

"Use this, it's a little more ceremonial."
