Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 424: Four Days and Nights of Preparation

Carl stood up from the stool, turned around and prepared to leave. He couldn't stand Professor Snape's verbal violence.

How could this be possible? On the one hand he asked me for money, and on the other hand he said that I was his most hated student. There was no other.

Don’t you want dignity? Don’t you want love?

He himself admitted that he was a little richer and more mature than the average young wizard.

He has a little more personality than the average little wizard, but after all, he is just an ordinary student in a magic academy.

I also need recognition from my classmates and teachers, and this kind of accusation in person is totally unacceptable.

Carl, who was "heartbroken", held back the tears in his eyes, turned around and walked to the door, ready to leave.

As a result, I wandered at the door of the room for nearly 30 seconds, but didn't hear any voice trying to keep me. After waiting for another 30 seconds, a familiar voice finally came from behind me.

And the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground, something roughly similar to a report document, hitting his heels.

"Don't forget to take these three reports with you. You've already paid for them. I'm a man of my word."

The disdainful voice revealed heartlessness, unreasonableness, and no intention of trying to keep him.

Carl was frozen in place. He had never felt so helpless before. For some reason, a feeling of powerlessness as if he was being dominated by some damned wild daddy surged into his heart.

Just when he was extremely conflicted and wondering whether he should just leave for the sake of face.

Professor Snape, who was sitting on a stool and observing silently, had a hint of joyful smile on his face, but it quickly disappeared.

The cold voice sounded again.

"But before you leave, I still want to remind you that you will be returning to school tomorrow."

"That means you have less than 14 hours to understand the situation you will face in the future."

"Returning to a place that is both familiar and unfamiliar without any intelligence is an extraordinary challenge, Mr. Hateful Hohenzollern."

This sentence became the last straw that broke the camel's back, and Carl finally followed the voice of his heart.

Having made a brave decision, he bent down with a flattering smile on his face and picked up the three reports that were thrown on the ground.

He returned to the bare stool dejectedly and placed the three reports neatly back to their previous positions.

He rubbed his hands and laughed.

"What are you saying? You are my professor, my dear teacher. How could I be scolded by you?"

"I'm just being mad. 50 gold Galleons, right? No problem. Just go back to school and you can get it anytime in three months."

"One week at most!!" Professor Snape raised a finger.

"Two months." Carl carefully counted two.

"One day!!" Professor Snape still stretched out that finger.

"One month!!" Carl's face looked extremely ugly. While speaking, he suddenly grasped Professor Snape's wrist tightly with both hands.

Said in a pleading tone.

"Professor, this is the shortest deadline. I know what you want to do with the money, but it's not appropriate at this special time."

"Such a large amount of liquidity entering the British wizarding world will seriously affect our future plans. One month is the shortest deadline."

"I'm not kidding you. It really can't be any shorter. And if you want, you can wait a little longer."

"Then you can get the raw materials you want at a lower price."

Carl originally said this out of consideration for the other party, but as soon as he said it, he instantly regretted it.

Sure enough, the moment Professor Snape heard these words, a terrifying aura emanated from his entire body.

His pupils turned red, and he really looked like a vampire transforming, with muscles all over his body tense.

Staring into Karl's eyes, he said in a cold tone.

“Do you think all I really care about is money???”

"Any day of waiting is torture for me. I don't care about the money, and I don't care about your bullshit plans."

"As for the British Ministry of Magic and those other idiots, they are worthless in my eyes. As long as there is a way, I can bring her back to me."

"If I need money, I will rob. If I need lives, I will kill. I will not hesitate even if it means exchanging the souls of others for my own."

"In the past 11 years, I have never given up."

Professor Snape was no longer as calm as usual at this moment. His face was distorted and his expression was a little crazy.

Carl, who was sitting opposite him, couldn't help but shudder all over. He knew that the man in front of him was not lying.

The house he was in was the best proof of this. The walls of this room were covered with all kinds of strange magic books.

And all those strange potion raw materials and specimens downstairs, and all the traces in the whole house.

All of these prove that the owner of the house has conducted many crazy experiments in the past years that outsiders dare not imagine.

After thinking about this, Carl suddenly understood why the other party had such a big reaction when he criticized the decoration of this house.

Because of my own words, I invisibly hurt the other person's already wounded heart.

It also negated all the efforts made by the other party over the past 11 years, which is unacceptable to anyone.

But at the same time, he also knew how to persuade the other party to accept his plan.

The answer lies in this house, the only room that seems warm and suitable for human habitation.

"What about Harry?"

"You know better than me what is happening in the British wizarding world right now, as well as the internal threats to Hogwarts."

"If everything goes according to my plan, I can assure you that no one can hurt Harley."

"But once the plan changes, no one can guarantee what will happen in the next second, including me."

When he heard Harry's name, Professor Snape's tense body trembled noticeably.

The body that was ready to go gradually relaxed, and the anger and unwillingness in the eyes gradually faded away.

After a brief silence, Professor Snape sighed unwillingly and slowly loosened his clenched fists.

"One month. I'll give you one month, Mr. Hohenzollern. I don't want anything unhappy to happen during this time."

"Especially Harley. If she gets hurt because of your damn plan, you know what will happen to you."

"Of course not!" Seeing that Professor Snape finally gave in, Carl quickly patted his chest to assure himself, only muttering softly.

"I don't want a bald old man to remember this for 11 years."

"What did you say!!!"
