Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 440: Domineering and Tough Karl

Dumbledore jumped up and down and shouted loudly, his old face flushed red, and it was unclear whether he was embarrassed or angry.

His behavior no longer had the elegance of the past, but was now full of vulgarity and irritability.

He scolded loudly.

"What nonsense are you talking about, Mr. Hohenzollern? How can you have such dirty and vulgar thoughts? This is the principal's office."

"This is the most sacred place in the entire Hogwarts. How could I possibly do something obscene here, and..."

Dumbledore suddenly stopped because he noticed that the familiar yet strange smile appeared on the face of the little bastard in front of him again.

He slowly bent down, stretched out a finger and lightly slid it across the floor, then put it to his nose and sniffed it.

"ROSSMANN, a famous German flour brand, this flour is suitable for baking and making some small pastries."

"At the same time, due to the processing method and origin, this flour has some special nutritional elements and is especially suitable for the elderly."

"I don't think it would be considered a filthy thing to spend some leisure time baking here."

"I've fallen into a trap." Dumbledore's heart skipped a beat and his eyes began to evade again. He stroked his beard with one hand.

The other hand was on the desk, constantly flipping through those unknown documents. It seemed that he was even the most famous wizard.

Even in embarrassing situations, he would pretend to be busy. Carl witnessed all this, took a deep breath and slowly returned to his previous seat.

Sit down quietly and then quietly enjoy each other's performance.

After a full five minutes had passed, Dumbledore slowly stopped these awkward movements and looked at Carl who was staring at him with a twitching face.

"I just wanted to emphasize the importance of the headmaster's office in Hogwarts. That's right."

Karl nodded slightly, agreeing with the explanation. He did not expose the other party's lies, nor did he say another word.

They stared into each other's eyes silently and the awkward silence lasted for another 5 minutes.

Until Carl spoke again.

"From the moment I entered this room, I already knew that you were not angry, or as angry as others imagined."

"Disappointed and angry about everything I've done, whether it's the fresh smell of wheat in this room."

"The marks left at the corners of your mouth and your complaints just now all confirm my thoughts."

As he spoke, Karl stood up from his seat and slowly walked to the front of the principal's desk, supporting himself with one corner of the desk with both hands.

He leaned forward slightly, making sure his face was close enough to the other person's face at such a close distance.

Both parties can see the details in each other's pupils. Eyes are the windows to the soul at such a close distance.

All the superb performance skills and magic are useless.

"After all, all my achievements in the British wizarding world are due to your acquiescence and connivance, such as at the end of last semester."

"If you hadn't appeared, I might have been sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban by the Wizengamot Council for the crime of illegally using the Unforgivable Curse."

"You didn't give up the chance to change your fate, but you hesitated at the critical moment. Please tell me now."

"Tell this boy in front of you, the one who is closest to you in blood in this world, what exactly are you hesitating about, or what are you afraid of."

Carl's words seemed to have a kind of magic, making even the greatest white wizard of the 20th century feel a bone-chilling chill and terror.

He even wanted to escape, but as soon as he moved his right hand, Carl held him down tightly.

Karl stared at him intently, and asked calmly with a smile on his face.

"If you think this question is difficult to answer, let me ask you a simpler question during the nearly 100 days I was gone."

"Are you happy in this house where we are?"

There is no way to escape. If I were to answer the other party's questions before, I could still make excuses by saying that the questions were too complicated and I haven't thought of the answers yet.

But now faced with such a simple question, quibbling has lost its meaning, especially at the moment when this question is asked.

He already had the answer in his mind, and the old face looked lonely as he spoke with difficulty.

"Yes, I don't want to lie to you, kid, this past Christmas was the happiest holiday I have ever had in my life."

"Including the time after that, I felt extremely happy, but..."

"No buts!" Carl interrupted directly and said firmly, "This is enough, this is enough."

"This answer is enough. Don't talk to me about responsibility, ideals and fate. The most important thing in life is happiness."

"I cannot allow the two people closest to me in this world to spend their last moments in pain."

"I don't allow it!!"

Carl spoke in a high-pitched voice with a gleam in his eyes. He pointed his finger at the ceiling with a confident smile on his face.

"Be it the European wizarding world, the International Confederation of Wizards, or even the Magical Congress of the United States across the ocean."

"Or maybe some other bastard hiding in the dark is jealous or hateful, but this is the end of it."

"After I squeeze out the last bit of your surplus value, you will retire honestly, get out of here, and take my wild father with you to find a place somewhere on earth."

"I will do what I have to do. I will get married when I have to get married and I will sleep when I have to sleep. No one can stop me from making a decision."

"Including you!!" At the end of his words, Karl pointed his finger at the ceiling, directly at Dumbledore in front of him.

He had a confident smile on his face, and then he took out a piece of parchment covered with words from his ring.

Slamming it down on the desk in front of Dumbledore.

"This is Harry's transfer document to Slytherin. Just sign the headmaster's section. Hurry up and don't disturb my sleep."

"Ah???" Dumbledore was still in shock and confusion because of what Carl had said before.

After uttering a puzzled "ah", she inexplicably signed her name on the document under his guidance.

Then he watched Karl's figure disappear at the end of the principal's office until the figure completely disappeared.

Dumbledore finally reacted. He opened his mouth, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. In the end, he shook his head and sighed helplessly.

Just as he was about to get up and leave, he found an extra card on the table. It looked like a game card.

On the front side, there is a green cross printed with the words "Resurrection of the Dead" written in English.

There was no other content on the card. He took the card curiously, checked it, turned it over, and then smiled helplessly.

It was written on the back of the card.

"You're not wrong to believe in fate, but is there a possibility that fate is extra kind to you this time? Keep this card, maybe it will come true someday."
