Harry Potter and the Rebirth

Chapter 377 Going deeper

"Why--"

After the little boy left with Bai You, he secretly asked someone to come back. This person was an official from the British Ministry of Magic who they had instigated to rebel.

The man quietly blended back into the crowd. The little boy was just a kilometer away, lying on the cold ground, holding a telescope in his hand, looking at two nearby battlefields.

One place is under siege, and the other place is more scattered.

When he saw Harry's face clearly, his pupils dilated, filled with anger and hatred. This was the man who killed my father.

He approached cautiously, step by step. Although he knew that his strength might be insignificant to his enemy, he still hid in the dark and stared at Harry.

"Send him over?"

"Yes, sir, shall we take him—"

"No, just hide first, I'll let you act when needed."

The man mixed into the team, and the number of wizards around had decreased by one-third. They all rushed into the big underground cave, leaving some on the ground on guard.

"Where have you been, Mr. Crouch?"

"There's another battle nearby." Crouch frowned, his upright face looking serious. The Auror, who was a little confused just now, put aside his doubts. He followed the direction Crouch pointed and found that spells were flying everywhere in the distance. Everyone was wearing black robes, and he could vaguely hear a woman screaming wildly.

It seemed as if the nightmare from many years ago had returned to reality. The Auror's face turned pale and he ran to Moody's side without stopping to report the situation to him.

"No need to worry, but you are very observant."

Moody patted the young Auror on the shoulder. He was quite powerful, but unfortunately he had not had much experience.

Harry came over just now and told him that he and Snape had arrived here, and there were some people lying in ambush around, but the two of them could handle it.

Moody knew Harry's ability. When he asked if he needed to send a few people as assistants, Harry shook his head decisively and wrote a word on his hand, "Dragon——"

Moody knew this thing, so not only did he feel relieved, but he also had the mind to watch the show. This young man was not the first one to discover it, but was sent back by Moody. Harry was playing over there, so why should they join in the fun?

The battle situation here was just as Moody had expected. Tom used half of his strength to fight Harry and the outcome was evenly matched. When his men joined in the melee, he did not gain any advantage at all.

Tom was surprised at Harry's current strength. The two were inseparable, and Nagini was watching him covetously.

Harry felt that something was wrong, Voldemort's strength might not have recovered yet, but no one could match his ruthlessness and dark tactics. On the surface, this man had the aura and demeanor of the Dark Lord, but he was merciful.

"Avada Kedavra."

Bella attacked from behind. Snape, who was watching the fight from a distance, couldn't help but take a step forward, but his body was very weak and he was held firmly in place by Lockhart. Even if he Apparated, he was at risk of being cut.

"This crazy woman!"

Snape cursed fiercely.

Harry was also a little angry after being beaten. He freed his hands and hit Bella hard. Several evil curses hit her from all directions at the same time, penetrating through layer after layer of armor protection, and finally kicked her away.

Half of Bella's ear was cut off. The sharp sword she learned from Snape was very powerful at this moment. The people in the innermost circle retreated in fear.

Could this little baby be some old monster transformed? They looked at the lightning scar on Harry's forehead and sincerely believed that this was the next generation of the Dark Lord.

If not, how could Voldemort be defeated as an infant?

Voldemort's prestige was greatly shaken, and a few weak-willed people secretly used Apparition to try to leave this place of trouble.

A black stone flew out at a speed faster than lightning.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A man who had just been full of joy and grateful for escaping the clutches of the devil, now fell to the ground with his cheek facing the ground, a big tear on the clothes on the back, and a black stone turned into fine dust and slowly fell to the ground.

"This is what happens!"

Tom finally showed his power and killed several people who wanted to escape quickly and efficiently. Then he knocked Harry away and picked up Bella who was injured in the distance.

His dignified appearance frightened many people who recognized the Dark Lord, and Moody did not expect that the little trouble Harry was talking about was actually the Dark Lord.

He turned around and looked at the yellow cave. He was still worried about Harry, especially since he was followed by a former Death Eater and led a group of Aurors.

After Dumbledore and Grindelwald jumped into the cave, an extremely sharp sound resounded throughout the entire enclosed space, and Grindelwald cast a Fiery Curse that burned all the adult mandrakes to ashes.

"We must find that group of people, and then find the bomb in their hands, as well as the dark wizard among them. Otherwise, if we let them escape, the consequences will be disastrous."

"They actually dared to let us come. I think they have made perfect preparations. There is no anti-Apparition spell cast on this place. Could it be that they have left long ago? This is just a cover."

Facing Grindelwald's questions, Dumbledore shook his head. He sent members of the Order of the Phoenix to check the entire island bit by bit, but they found something wrong only in this place.

"Hi - good evening, Albus."

Grindelwald's two-colored eyes were fixed on the man who suddenly appeared. Although he was old, he was still handsome. Behind his gray hair was a young man.

Newt appeared in front of Dumbledore carrying a box.

"haven't seen you for a long time."

The two hugged each other, and then were forcibly separated by Grindelwald.

What is there to hug? When they were young, he and Dumbledore teamed up to deal with him. With a sour feeling rising up, Grindelwald stood in front of Newt with scrutiny.

The narrow and dark passage around them made the four of them almost squeeze together.

Rolf shivered and clung to the wall. This was almost the most powerful fighter recognized by the wizarding world. His own grandfather actually dared to challenge him. Did he think he was unlucky?

An invisible beast suddenly emerged from the box, then quickly climbed onto Grindelwald's head, staring at his strange-colored eyes with greed.

"What do you want to do?"

Grindelwald lowered his voice and Rolf rushed over immediately. Dumbledore grabbed the invisible beast and put it in Rolf's hands, then drove him behind Newt.

"A cute little creature, it just looks so pretty in the eyes at you."

Grindelwald was comforted. He gracefully straightened his messed up hair, then turned around and walked away. He could not stop Dumbledore's behavior, nor did he want to make himself angry.

Ahead was a narrow corridor with rough earth walls on both sides, on which were several doors, and a hint of red light emanating from the end of the corridor.

Dumbledore exchanged a few words with Newt and followed Grindelwald.

"How many years has it been? Why is he still like this?"

Newt recalled the days when he was regarded as an imaginary enemy. It was really miserable. His sexual orientation was obviously normal, right? Wouldn't Grindelwald use her brain?

Dumbledore felt a little embarrassed. He did not respond to the conversation but took a few quick steps forward. His hurried steps revealed his turbulent heart.

Newt raised his eyebrows. How old is she, and yet she is still showing affection to him?

Grindelwald, who was walking in front, heard the conversation behind and was in a very happy mood.

He tried to open the doors and found that they were all decorations. Behind them were rough earth walls. He could even see earthworms making their homes inside. Some groundhogs were frightened and ran away. It seemed that there was no place for anyone to hide.

He came to the end of the corridor and stopped.

Dumbledore stopped Newt from moving forward and looked at the people coming in one after another.

"Tell them to stay here for a while. Grindelwald and I will go and investigate."

Newt was very worried. He knew very well that he didn't have very strong power except for his animal companions, and was nothing compared to Grindelwald.

"Take this away. I heard the original one was smashed."

Newt took out an ice-blue flower with a faint halo from the box and stuffed it into Dumbledore's arms.

Dumbledore accepted Newt's kindness, patted him on the shoulder, put the flower in his arms, and then followed Grindelwald into the unknown space.

"Aren't we going in with you?"

When Rolf was studying at Hogwarts, Dumbledore was also the headmaster, and he took good care of Rolf, the grandson of his good friend. Naturally, Rolf liked this elder very much.

Now that they have arrived here, they are not with them—

"They know their limits, so we can just stay here in peace."

If something really happened, no matter where they fled to, they would not be able to survive.

Newt swallowed the second half of his sentence. It was better not to let such negative thoughts influence young people.

When Dumbledore went in, he found a very bright hall. Like a gear, there were many grooves around the hall. In each groove stood a person in a red robe. Their foreheads were painted with eyes, their gazes were dull, they were muttering to themselves, their hands were in the shape of a cross, and there was something squirming in the palms of their hands.

In the front stood a huge statue with a red hat brim that revealed a pointed chin. Its slender hands stretched out from its robe, and its long nails were covered in blood.

Grindelwald pointed to the statue and said to Dumbledore, "This is what Hermann found in the manor."

He had once used the Pensieve to browse through Hermann's memories and, by comparison, had discovered that the statue was several times taller.

Behind the statue are flashing screens. The combination of ancient evil sacrifices and modern technology makes the scene feel particularly weird, as if two products from different time and space are forcibly combined together and are very fragmented.

The two of them walked together and came to the screens that were flashing with snowflakes.

Dumbledore looked at these small, square black boxes with curiosity. He touched them and found that the outermost part was glass, while the surrounding area was covered with something that seemed to be called plastic.

Grindelwald circled the statue again and again, and even flew to the very front of the statue, staring at the chin under the hood, trying to see clearly the face inside the hood.

He saw——

He fell stiffly to the ground, looking at the Muggles around him who were ready to die. He really wanted to burn the whole place to ashes with a single blow of the Fiercefire Curse, not caring about anything else.

Dumbledore stopped him.

"This is just a trick. When we get to this place, it's already very difficult to get out. Nine out of ten will die."

A dead silence.

When Moody arrived, two opposing camps had already formed.

On one side were the Death Eaters led by Voldemort, and on the other side were three adult wizards surrounding Harry. Snape seemed to have returned to normal, standing in front of Harry, with Lockhart standing on the side doing nothing, and there was another person, hiding his head and tail, with a hoarse voice like that of an adult male, without any characteristics at all.

The two sides confronted each other. Moody quickly walked to Harry's side and looked at Snape warily.

"What's going on? How did you get here?"

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

The man in black robe blocked the attack.

The aurora in the sky became brighter and brighter, filled with colorful colors, which was particularly conspicuous in the dark night. The stars in the sky were also covered up, and the moon disappeared.

"Let's get them all out first. We can't let them ruin Headmaster Dumbledore's plan."

Moody agreed with Harry's idea and led a group of Aurors, along with Snape and Lockhart, and rushed straight forward.

"Snape, come here quickly, when will you serve your master?"

Bella stood behind Voldemort and began to sow discord.

Moody pulled Harry towards him. Lockhart couldn't help laughing, and Snape was frowning. It seemed that Voldemort had become wary, and he would not be trusted if he continued to lurk. So, if that was the case -

His black robe fluttered, blending into the night. He protected the three people behind him, with the momentum of one man blocking a thousand, and slapped Bella in the face with his actions.

She could say such things, but Snape couldn't really do them.

Bella, who was furious, covered her ear which had been cut to reveal a black hole, rushed forward and fought Snape on equal terms.

Tom looked through the crowd at Harry who was standing still in the back. The two looked at each other for a moment and everything became quiet.

Harry did not feel any connection between the man opposite him and himself, his scar did not react at all, and the pieces of soul that had merged into Voldemort did not move either.

Who is he?
