One Piece: Under the Throne

Chapter 81 Prelude to Disaster

Looking at the harmonious and peaceful O'Hara in front of her, Olivia felt a little bit reluctant.

Perhaps soon this place will be shrouded in war, and the beauty and tranquility before her eyes will no longer exist. Olivia dragged her tired steps and set out on the road home.

When passing by the town, the villagers were talking about the naval ships docked on the shore. Everyone was wondering why the navy came to this remote island and why no soldiers showed up after being anchored for so long.

Olivia walked through the street with her hat lowered. Six years had passed since the archaeological team went out to sea to search for historical texts. Even if Olivia did not hide her identity, not many people would remember her.

Inside the Tree of All-Knowing Library, several scholars hurriedly pushed the door open.

"Doctor, there is a warship that has been anchored on the shore for a long time."

"Maybe they are here to investigate. We should be on high alert just in case."

"Go and notify all the scholars to start packing the books."

Soon all the scholars gathered in the library. Everyone had already known the news of the arrival of the naval warship. When they heard Dr. Cloba asking everyone to pack the books, they all started to take action. Although they didn't know why he was planning to escape now, they all followed the order well.

Just as everyone was busy, a dishevelled woman walked into the library. When she took off her hat, her long silver hair fell out like silk.

Olivia greeted everyone with a slightly tired look: "Long time no see everyone"

The scholars were also surprised to see that the person coming was Olivia: "Ms. Olivia? Weren't you caught by the navy?"

"I'm sorry to bring you bad news so soon, but what I'm going to say next..."

Before she could finish, Dr. Kloba interrupted her: "Everyone continue to pack the books, Olivia, you follow me."

Dr. Kloba took her to the basement and planned to tell her Leo's plan in detail.

"Doctor, the government has deduced from the remains of our companions that we are from O'Hara. We are sorry that we have brought crisis to this land."

"Please don't blame yourself. This is not one person's fault. We are all gathered here for a common dream. And we have already made a plan. If everything goes well, everyone can be saved. All you have to do now is hide yourself. I will deal with the people from the World Government."

Hearing this, Olivia looked at Dr. Kloba in confusion: "You mean someone informed you of O'Hara's danger in advance and helped us through it?"

"Yes, and that person is a friend of your daughter Robin."

Hearing Robin's name, Olivia smiled for the first time in a long time, but her happiness did not last long and turned into a sad expression again.

"How has Robin been doing these years? I am an unfit mother for leaving her alone in O'Hara."

Kroba hesitated to speak, and sighed, but he still briefly described Robin's situation over the years. Ovilya cried bitterly after learning that her daughter had lived such a hard life over the years.

"Go find her. Robin is the one you care about most."

"No, I can't see her yet. I can't involve Robin in this."

"If it weren't for this plan, I would agree with your idea." Then Cloba told Olivia about his and Leo's plan.

After learning about the plan, Olivia finally breathed a sigh of relief, but she still didn't plan to meet Robin: "I'd better stay and help everyone. Since I've embarked on this path, I have to cut off my relationship with her. I can't let her become the daughter of a sinner."

Just as the atmosphere of sadness spread between the two, someone suddenly came to report: "Dr. Kroba, the World Government's ship has arrived."

"Are you there yet? Tell everyone to work faster."

Olivia moved a bookshelf and took out a gun from the back: "I will stop them. If I fail, you must not tell anyone that you know me." After saying that, Olivia was about to rush out to stop the agents of the World Government.

Before Olivia could act, Dr. Kloba hurriedly stopped her and said, "Don't be impulsive. Listen to me and go find Robin quickly, then quietly return to the library."

Fearing that Olivia would continue to be stubborn, Dr. Kloba added: "I know you are afraid that you will implicate Robin, but what that child wants most is to be with you. Olivia, stop being stubborn and go find her."

Olivia couldn't hold back the emotions she had been suppressing, and after saying thank you, she turned around and rushed out of the library, leaving only a few tears floating in the air.

……

The government ship had landed, and squads of armed soldiers landed at O'Hara.

Spandine, the leader of the team, was giving orders at this time: "It's really troublesome, but this work will make me a promotion. Hey! Go and control all the scholars here."

At this time, many people had gathered on the streets of the town, and the appearance of the World Government ship caused panic among them. Olivia finally squeezed through the crowd and came to Leo and Robin's residence, but she did not find her daughter here.

Government personnel have already begun to land on the island. Olivia has no time to think and can only risk being discovered and go to the streets to look for Robin.

At this time, the government soldiers had also arrived at the library. When they saw the scholars, they pointed their guns at them without any further ado: "Stop, everyone put your hands up and go outside. We suspect O'Hara is conducting illegal research, and we are going to conduct a thorough search of this place."

Kloba signaled his companions not to resist: "Don't break our things. Everything here is a treasure you can't even imagine."

The soldier didn't want to listen to the doctor's nonsense. He glanced at everyone and said, "I have no obligation to listen to you. It looks like you are already preparing to escape. Take everyone out."

The government soldiers were divided into two groups. One group took control of the library, while the rest were announcing the scholars' crimes to the villagers.

"The World Government has announced that scholars from Ohara are conducting illegal research in an attempt to destabilize the world. The government has decided to crack down on this evil."

Most of the townspeople did not believe what the World Government staff said. Scholars were respected people and the pride of the island, but the soldiers before them ignored the townspeople's arguments.

"We are now conducting a comprehensive search of the island, and everyone is heading to the refugee ship with their identification."

Hearing that everyone was asked to evacuate, everyone was surprised that the World Government had taken things to such an extent, and the panic in their hearts became more and more serious.

Some people who did not want to leave their hometowns boldly raised questions: "Since this is a problem for scholars, what does it have to do with ordinary people like us? There is no need to ask everyone to leave their homes."

The government soldiers said indifferently: "It is only our duty to inform you. If you ignore the advice and something happens, we will not be responsible."

The villagers did not expect the government to be so tough, and they were frightened by their words. Someone in the crowd shouted to run away, which completely ignited the crowd.

At the same time, Olivia hadn't found Robin yet but met Spandine in the forest.
