I knew I couldn't just sit there and wait for death. I had to find out the truth, prove my innocence, and save the relationship between me and Huo Yan. I began to recall the scene in the supermarket that day, trying to find out who slipped the note. After some effort, I finally remembered a detail. When I bent down to pick up the goods, I felt someone linger beside me. The figure of that person was very familiar, and it seemed to be Lin Jinxi.

I started to suspect that Lin Jinxi was the one who slipped the note. To confirm my guess, I decided to confront Lin Jinxi face to face. I asked around for Lin Jinxi's whereabouts and finally found her in a park.

"Lin Jinxi, are you framing me?" I asked directly.

Lin Jinxi pretended to be innocent at first and denied what he had done. "I don't know what you are talking about. How could I frame you?" Lin Jinxi said.

However, I didn't believe her. I produced some evidence to prove that she followed me that day and had the opportunity to slip the note. Seeing that she couldn't deny it, Lin Jinxi finally admitted what she had done.

"So what if I did it? You took Brother Huo Yan away and made him no longer care about me. I just want him to come back to me." Lin Jinxi said loudly.

I looked at Lin Jinxi, feeling helpless and sad. "Why did you do this? Huo Yan adopted you out of kindness, and he has his own difficulties. You shouldn't frame me like this." I said.

Lin Jinxi's tears flowed down, and she knew that her behavior was a bit excessive. "I was just too afraid of losing him. I thought that as long as you were not around, he would take care of me wholeheartedly." Lin Jinxi said.

I sighed and decided to forgive Lin Jinxi. "I know you are lonely and need a home. But you can't solve the problem this way. We should work together to let Huo Yan adopt you as soon as possible." I said.

So, Lin Jinxi and I went to find Huo Yan and explained the truth to him. After listening to our explanation, Huo Yan's doubts were finally dispelled. He looked at me with eyes full of apology and love.

Huo Yan hugged me tightly, then looked at Lin Jinxi and said, "Jinxi, I know you are afraid of losing me. But you have to believe that I will adopt you as soon as possible and give you a home. But you can't hurt others in this way anymore."

Lin Jinxi nodded and said, "I understand, Brother Huo Yan. I won't do this again."

Since the last misunderstanding was resolved, I thought everything would be back on track. Huo Yan continued to work hard to handle the adoption procedures for Lin Jinxi, and I did my best to help them. However, Lin Jinxi's uneasiness did not completely dissipate.

She looked at the deep affection between Huo Yan and me, and always felt that my staying with Huo Yan would threaten her position. Deep in her heart, she longed for all of Huo Yan's attention and love, and she was afraid that my presence would take away Huo Yan's care for her. This fear and uneasiness continued to spread in her heart, and eventually prompted her to decide to frame me again.

One day, Huo Yan had to go on a business trip for a few days. Although I was a little reluctant, I also understood the importance of his work. After Huo Yan left, Lin Jinxi felt that this was a great opportunity.

She began to carefully plan her conspiracy. First, she secretly sent me a text message from an unfamiliar number, asking me to meet at a remote cafe. The text message claimed that she had something important to tell me about Huo Yan. After reading the text message, although I was a little confused, I decided to go to the appointment out of concern for Huo Yan.

When I arrived at the cafe, I didn't see the person who sent the text message. I waited for a while, and when I was about to leave, a group of strangers suddenly rushed in. They claimed that I owed them a large sum of money and I had to pay it back now, otherwise they would not let me go. I was shocked by this sudden situation and quickly denied that I owed money. However, these people did not give up, started pushing me, and even threatened to hit me.

Just when I was in trouble, Lin Jinxi suddenly appeared. She pretended to be surprised and looked at me and those strangers. "Sister Anna, what's going on? How come you owe them money?" Lin Jinxi asked.

I looked at Lin Jinxi, and suddenly a suspicion surged in my heart. I felt that this matter was too coincidental, and it was very likely a trap set by Lin Jinxi. But I had no evidence, so I could only think of a way to get rid of these strangers first.

"I don't owe you any money, I don't know why they are looking for me," I said.

Lin Jinxi shook her head, "Sister Anna, are you in trouble? If you really owe money, we can work together to find a way to solve it."

After hearing what Lin Jinxi said, the strangers became even more arrogant. "You are her friend, right? Then help her pay the money back. Otherwise, we will take her away."

I looked at Lin Jinxi, hoping that she would stand by me and help me prove my innocence. However, Lin Jinxi showed a hint of hesitation. "Sister Anna, I don't know what to do. I don't have that much money to help you pay it back." Lin Jinxi said.

Just then, one of the strangers took out an IOU with my signature on it. I looked at the IOU and couldn't believe my eyes. I had never signed such an IOU before. It was obviously forged.

"This is not my signature! It's fake!" I shouted.

But the strangers didn't believe me. "It's written in black and white, and you still want to deny it? You must pay me back today, or we will send you to the police station."

I felt very desperate and didn't know how to prove my innocence. Lin Jinxi looked at me from the side, with a glimmer of pride in her eyes. She knew that her plan had succeeded one step further.

Just when I was in a desperate situation, a policeman suddenly appeared. After asking about the situation, he began to carefully examine the IOU. After some identification, the police determined that the IOU was forged. The strangers saw that the matter was exposed and ran away in a hurry.

I breathed a sigh of relief, and my suspicion of Lin Jinxi became even stronger. I looked at Lin Jinxi with anger in my eyes. "Lin Jinxi, you planned all this, right? Why did you do this?" I asked.

Lin Jinxi tried to deny it at first, but under my questioning, she finally admitted what she had done. "So what if I did it? You are always with Brother Huo Yan, and he doesn't care about me anymore. Only if I drive you away will he take care of me wholeheartedly." Lin Jinxi said.

I looked at Lin Jinxi, my heart filled with helplessness and sadness. "Why can't you understand? Huo Yan adopted you out of kindness, and he also hopes that you can live a happy life. The feelings between him and me are sincere, and our love for each other will not change because of your existence." I said.

Lin Jinxi's tears flowed down, and she knew that her behavior was a bit excessive. "I was just too afraid of losing him. I thought that as long as you were not there, he would belong to me alone." Lin Jinxi said.

I sighed and decided to forgive Lin Jinxi again. "I know you are lonely and need a home. But you can't solve the problem this way. We should work together to let Huo Yan adopt you as soon as possible so that you can truly feel the warmth of home." I said.

Lin Jinxi nodded, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, I know I was wrong. I won't do this again." Lin Jinxi said.

However, things did not end so simply. After Lin Jinxi's conspiracy was exposed, her fear and anxiety became more serious. She felt that she had lost Huo Yan's trust and he would definitely blame her when he came back. So she decided to take action again to restore her image in Huo Yan's heart.

Lin Jinxi began to pretend to be sick, and she deliberately made herself look very weak and pitiful. She called Huo Yan and cried about her illness, hoping that he would come back to take care of her as soon as possible. Huo Yan was very worried when he heard the news that Lin Jinxi was sick, and he immediately ended his business trip and rushed back home.

When Huo Yan returned home, he felt guilty when he saw Lin Jinxi's frail appearance. He felt that he was negligent for not being by her side when she needed him the most. He began to take care of Lin Jinxi wholeheartedly, forgetting that I was still experiencing the damage caused by the conspiracy.

I felt a little disappointed when I saw Huo Yan's concern for Lin Jinxi. But I also understood Huo Yan's kindness and sense of responsibility. He couldn't just watch Lin Jinxi get sick and ignore her. I decided to give Huo Yan some time and let him take care of Lin Jinxi first.

However, Lin Jinxi took advantage of this opportunity to constantly speak ill of me in front of Huo Yan. She made up all kinds of lies, trying to make Huo Yan believe that I was an untrustworthy person. Huo Yan did not believe Lin Jinxi's words at first, but under her constant persuasion, he began to have some doubts in his heart.

During this process, I kept trying to contact Huo Yan and explain the truth to him. But Lin Jinxi always tried to prevent me from meeting Huo Yan, making my efforts in vain. I felt very desperate and didn't know how to break this dilemma.

Just when I was in despair, I suddenly thought of a way. I decided to find some evidence to prove Lin Jinxi's conspiracy. I began to recall what happened in the cafe that day, looking for possible clues. After some effort, I finally found some surveillance videos that recorded the scenes of Lin Jinxi colluding with those strangers.

I took the evidence and went to Huo Yan. When Huo Yan saw the evidence, his doubts were finally dispelled. He looked at me with eyes full of apology and love.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have doubted you. I was too impulsive." Huo Yan said.

I threw myself into Huo Yan's arms, tears welling up in my eyes. "It doesn't matter, as long as we can be together again." I said.

Huo Yan hugged me tightly, then looked at Lin Jinxi and said, "Jinxi, your behavior disappoints me. I adopted you in the hope that you could live a happy life, but you keep hurting others. From now on, I will monitor your behavior more strictly, and if you do something like this again, I will have to reconsider my decision to adopt you."

After hearing what Huo Yan said, Lin Jinxi was filled with fear and regret. She knew that she had really done something wrong this time, and she could not lose Huo Yan's trust and love again.

"Brother Huo Yan, I know I was wrong. I will never do this again. Please don't give up on me." Lin Jinxi said crying.

Huo Yan looked at Lin Jinxi, feeling a little reluctant. He knew that Lin Jinxi was just a lonely child and she needed more love and guidance.
