The End of the World: Chaos

"How can you continue to be arrogant?" A cold and lonely voice came from the darkness, like a gust of cold wind, breaking the deep silence.

The Red Skull's hand trembled, and he turned around to see a woman in black combat uniform slowly approaching, with a provocative and cold smile on her lips, which made people feel uneasy. She was Black Rose, a capable assistant who had fought side by side with the Red Skull many times, but now she had become a thorn in his heart that was difficult to pull out.

"You are here?" Red Skull frowned, feeling uneasy in his heart, and tried hard to calm himself.

"I have been watching you from the dark all along, Red Skull." Black Rose approached slowly, her expression unchanged, but her eyes were like sharp blades. "You have been hiding so many secrets all by yourself. Aren't you afraid that they will be exposed in the future?"

"I have my own plan." The Red Skull salivated, but became more alert in his heart, "And you shouldn't be here, Black Rose."

"You know the reason why I'm here." She chuckled, her eyes wandering over the weapons flashing blue light, as if she had foreseen everything. "What can these weapons you pursue bring you? Endless greed, or a game of power?"

"What does this have to do with you?" Red Skull responded coldly, but a trace of annoyance was burning in his heart.

"I am different from you, Red Skull." Black Rose's voice became particularly heavy. "You are too conceited, but I know what is really important."

Red Skull turned around, secretly alert in his heart, determined not to let this strange conversation disrupt his long-term plan. But his heart was never calm.

"Gold is the symbol of law, and weapons are the key to truly controlling everything." Black Rose looked at the dazzling gold, her eyes revealing a desire for wealth.

"This gold will give us supreme power." The Red Skull couldn't help himself, his eyes flashing with desire, "This is not only material, but also invisible energy."

"But what can you get with all this gold?" Black Rose stared at him with a disdainful smile on her face. "Is it your arrogant heart or the terror you created? Do you really think that such weapons and wealth can protect you forever?"

Red Skull's expression changed slightly, unconsciously realizing the truth in her words. "This is not the time for you to question me."

"Can't I care about my former partners?" There was a hint of sarcasm in Black Rose's voice and her eyes were clear.

"You are no longer my partner." The Red Skull responded coldly, his heart filled with anger. "Since you have chosen to betray me, do you just want to take advantage of this opportunity to take it?"

Black Rose's face froze for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure. "It's not a demand, it's more of a warning. Possessing these weapons and gold will eventually lead you to disaster."

"Are you laughing at me?" The Red Skull said with contempt, "I will be in complete control of this, and no one else will dare to interfere!"

"Given your current situation?" Black Rose asked back, her face calm and composed, as if she had seen through everything. "If you blindly pursue power, you will end up being lonely like a shadow, and your companionship will fail."

The Red Skull gritted his teeth, his heart was filled with rage, but every word the other party said was a challenge. He knew that the Black Rose was still the smart and determined woman she was back then, and should not be underestimated.

"Please leave immediately, Black Rose," he finally calmed down and looked dignified, "This is my plan, there is no need for you to disturb me."

"I'm not disturbing you, I'm just reminding you." Black Rose's tone softened, with a hint of concern, "When you were acquiring weapons and wealth, did you ever think about how to fight against the real enemies? The world is so big, and there are too many beings that are more powerful than you and me."

"This is my decision." The Red Skull was cold and determined, his eyes flickering, "No matter what, I will achieve my goal."

"But my goal and path have never changed." Black Rose's eyes were as bright as torches, revealing determination. "I hope you can understand that gold, silver and weapons are not everything."

Red Skull was upset. He didn't want to continue arguing with Black Rose, so he quickly retreated into the ammunition depot, attempting to pack up the remaining equipment and gold, trying not to let her provocation affect his thoughts.

However, Black Rose still followed closely behind, seemingly fearless of Red Skull's determination. She picked up a piece of gold at random, savoring its luster and weight, as if pondering its deep meaning.

"What do you think all this gold can buy you?" she asked again, looking directly at the Red Skull.

"Gold can buy absolute power and respect." Red Skull answered firmly, his voice rising, "I will use these weapons and wealth to establish the order I want!"

"But what you pursue will eventually turn into disaster." Black Rose shook her head, with regret on her face, as if she was sad for his foolishness. She turned and left, leaving behind a meaningful sentence: "Self-destruction will eventually be your own choice."

Red Skull was furious, but he had no way to stop her. He clenched his fists and thought to himself that he must not let Black Rose's disturbing words disturb his mind.
