The End of the World: Chaos

Chapter 357 Silently praying for something

"Who exactly are you?" The Red Skull asked coldly, his voice was like a whisper in the abyss, making people tremble.

"I...we are just passing by and don't want to cause any trouble!" One of them calmed down a little, fear hidden in his eyes, and responded in a trembling voice.

"By?" The Red Skull raised his lips slightly, as if smiling, and asked, "Don't you think it's unusual to wander around here? This is not an ordinary place."

"I...we just wanted to avoid the limelight, but we never thought we would meet you..." Another gangster trembled, and the voice seemed to escape from his mouth.

The Red Skull's eyes were like the tip of a knife, and suddenly they were so powerful that they could not help but retreat. However, he did not intend to let them go. In the darkness, he was like a cheetah, and decided to lock these two prey here.

He walked forward slowly, the blade in his hand rising and falling, cutting through the silent air, and the flash of the blade took away the last bit of calmness of the two men.

"I want to know everything you know." The Red Skull's cold voice was as despairing as a winter night. "I want to know why you are here. Do you have any accomplices?"

"We are just three small characters, and no one follows us! Please let us go!" The timid guy was struck by lightning and spoke incoherently.

"Tsk, don't think I will believe your lies." The Red Skull grabbed the first man who spoke and asked sternly, "What's your name?"

"My name is Jack, and I'm a small gangster." Jack answered tremblingly, with cold sweat dripping down his forehead.

"Your career as a gangster ends today." The Red Skull pushed him to the ground, the blade flashing with a cold light. "Raise your head, breathe freely, and tell me your secret!"

Jack lowered his head in despair, his face becoming more and more distorted, as if he was praying silently for something.

"That's enough! I don't have time to waste with you!" The Red Skull pulled him up angrily, his voice gradually becoming sharp, "I will give you time, but I don't have much time."

"I just follow the boss and have never been involved in other matters!" Jack stumbled in despair, his eyes flickering, and uneasy emotions rolled in his heart, "Whatever you want, I am willing to tell you!"

"I don't need your information." Red Skull interrupted him coldly, with a bit of disgust on his face, "I just want to know the name of one person."

"A person's name?" Jack looked confused. "Whose name do you want?"

"You often travel with me, so tell me honestly, what is the name of your boss?" The Red Skull's voice was like a knife, cutting through Jack's heart.

Jack was about to say something but stopped, fear surged in his heart like a tide, forming an indescribable oppression. At the same time, his companion on the other side was so frightened that his face was distorted and he seemed to have lost his mind.

"Hey!" The Red Skull laughed coldly, his voice low and powerful, "Trust me, if you don't want to die, then tell me everything you know."

"Well, my boss's name is Bart, Bart Richie!" Jack was desperate and had nothing to worry about. His voice trembled as slightly as a mosquito, but was full of despair, as if he pinned all his hopes on this phrase.

"Bart Richie, is that so?" The Red Skull raised the corner of his mouth slightly, as if smiling, as if he could see through his soul.

“Yeah, he… he’s on that side of the city…” another gangster added eagerly, his eyes revealing the hope of survival, as if his life was hanging by a thread.

"Enough, you have to take me to see him, only then can we have a chance of survival." The Red Skull raised his hand, with a strong threat in his voice.

"But...but..." Jack hesitated and spoke hesitantly.

"Where do you want to go? You expect me to let you go so you can go back to being gangsters? No way!" The Red Skull snorted coldly, and the tip of the knife in his hand pointed directly at the throats of the two men, and the sense of pressure became stronger.

"We will definitely take you there! Please, spare our lives!" Jack's voice was almost broken, and he stammered out his promises, and finally dragged his companions into endless darkness in despair.

The Red Skull was indifferent to this, because their lives were of no value to him. He only wanted one person, a name that he had been thinking about for a long time. And Jack and his companions were the key to that name.

"Remember, your lives are in my hands. If you neglect them..." The Red Skull stared at the two men, his gaze like a sharp blade piercing their souls, "You will immediately face the fear of death!"

The two gangsters were terrified, their desperate pain was like an endless undercurrent. They knew there was no escape. The Red Skull's existence was like a time bomb that could detonate their only remaining hope at any time.

"Go quickly and lead me to your boss!" The Red Skull put away his knife and turned around, stepping forward, leaving behind a gloomy aura, like a sharp weapon, oppressing the two
