Ruth sat behind the desk, her fingers dancing on the keyboard, her eyes occasionally looking out the window. The night was falling and the city seemed immersed in endless hustle and bustle.

"Recently, SHIELD seems to be behaving strangely and oddly." Anderson walked slowly over from one end. There was a hint of urgency in his tone, and it was obvious that he had been thinking about this for a long time.

Ruth put down the mouse in her hand, turned to him with a sharp look, "Why do you think so?"

Ruth stared at him with growing anxiety. "What's going on over there?"

Anderson raised his eyes, showing his sorrow: "I have asked the people in charge of the furnace, and there is nothing strange."

"But are there people from our bureau among those who are involved in the unusual flow of people?" Ruth continued to ask, "Will any news be passed on?"

"Some people from our bureau are involved in this, but we don't know whether they have been kept in the dark. We still don't know the details. Moreover, they themselves are also unclear. I originally thought that I could wait for a couple of days to find out the outcome, but now I am even more worried." Anderson looked dazed.

Ruth's face was solemn: "Why did this happen at such a specific time?"

"Just five days ago." Anderson's voice trembled slightly.

"Five days ago?! Red Skull hasn't made a move yet, why is it this bad? There should be no connection between them." Ruth pondered for a moment, her mind full of complicated thoughts, "Just wait and see what happens, don't act rashly."

"Excellent! Remember to record every detail of the investigation. If there is any important progress, inform me immediately. Things may be more complicated than I thought," Ruth added.

"Understood!" Anderson hurriedly picked up his pen and flipped through the files.
