"What are you thinking about?" A familiar voice gently interrupted his thoughts. King Zhao walked in leisurely with a faint smile on his face.

"Nothing, King Zhao." Pushkin quickly turned his gaze back, stood up, and smiled professionally to greet his powerful master. "I was just about to sort out the documents and prepare to report on the progress of my recent work."

"The work is progressing well, I am very satisfied." King Zhao seemed quite relaxed. After he sat down, he looked around, as if he was appreciating the quaint decoration of the office. "But do you know what I value more?"

"It should be my ability and value." Pushkin's heart trembled slightly. He tried his best to maintain his confidence and secretly prayed for more trust and opportunities.
