“This aroma is so tempting!”

Yang Yi was startled, and turned around to see Xika running into the hall happily, his eyes sparkling, and heading straight to the kitchen. "Why are you back?" Yang Yi asked curiously, in a relaxed tone.

Xika was already busy in the kitchen, holding a bowl of hot delicacies in her hands and food in her mouth, and she casually replied: "It's dinner time just now. The food outside may not look delicious at first glance, so I went home to cook a meal!" She served another bowl and winked at Yang Yi mischievously, with a playful expression.

"The food you personally prepare is naturally delicious!" Xika praised generously while chewing, her face filled with satisfaction, as if the taste made her happier than any other delicacy.

Yang Yi raised his eyebrows slightly, and his mood became relaxed. "Ruth hasn't come back yet?" He lowered his eyes slightly, and a trace of worry flashed through his heart about Ruth's absence.

"She was invited to a sisters' party and seems to have no time to come back!" Xika replied in a light tone, revealing a somewhat indifferent attitude.

"Sorority? What is that?" Yang Yi frowned. Ruth's recent activity made him feel uneasy.

"I heard that it's a gathering of women to chat, gossip, and have some fun!" Xika explained confidently, with a hint of mischief in her tone: "It must be a lot of fun."

"It seems that Ruth is quite close to others." Yang Yi had complicated feelings in his heart, and he seemed to be full of doubts.

Xika glanced at Yang Yi, raised his eyebrows slightly, and said seriously, "What about you? How do you get along with others?"

"Nothing special," Yang Yi responded in a slightly dull voice, "We both have different interests, so it's hard to find common ground."

Xika curled his lips, full of laziness, "How can a group of nerds or hormone-filled guys have much fun? It's so childish!"

"But there are always some people in this world who can make you open your heart and try to make friends!" Xika advised solemnly.

"Don't you think Ruth is not without optimism?" Yang Yi tried to defend Ruth, feeling vaguely confused.

Xika paused for a moment, thought seriously for a moment, and then said slowly: "What do you mean?" She looked a little doubtful.

"Ruth is as smart as she is. She might be attending the party to adapt to the environment, or... she might want to stand out." Yang Yi lowered his head in thought, tugging at the edge of the bowl, with a hint of worry on his face.
