The End of the World: Chaos

Chapter 431: Looks Normal

"Yang Yi, what are you thinking about?" Xika raised his eyes, with a grain of rice still on the corner of his lips. The chopsticks in his hand paused, looking vaguely uneasy.

"What I'm thinking about is the cycle of cause and effect." Yang Yi answered one by one, looking out the window, as if he had already seen through everything in the world.

"The cycle of cause and effect?" Xika looked confused, but her interest was undoubtedly not here. She was more interested in the deliciousness of this bowl of rice.

"Indeed, Xika, this is a big deal!" Yang Yi shrugged slightly, but he felt regretful in his heart, "Master Tony's evil consequences are finally coming. The ridiculous plan of '473' will eventually not escape the punishment of fate."

"You mean Tony's infamous explosives plan?" Sika's eyes widened with astonishment. "Shouldn't he have done this? This action would cause an explosion, which is very dangerous! But why are you still here and concentrating on eating?"

"Because I know that no matter what, he will suffer the consequences of his own actions. I don't need to be involved in the consequences." Yang Yi said lightly, his expression calm.

Xika felt uneasy, and could not understand why Yang Yi was so calm. Instead, she felt pity for him. She sighed and tried to change the subject: "I heard there is a grand party tonight. Are you interested in attending?"

"Party? I have no interest in it." Yang Yi shook his head slightly, his eyes still focused on the window, "Tonight's party is not as exciting as the show in front of us."

"Oh, what a horrible person, he doesn't even want to participate in group activities." Xika murmured, trying to pierce Yang Yi's indifference in his heart, "But everyone came to the meeting to relax."

"Relax? It's not worth mentioning to be with a group of pretenders." Yang Yi's eyes gradually became serious. "In my opinion, the real way to relax is to witness the confrontation between justice and evil."

Suddenly, the noise outside the window became clearer, and in the distance, thick smoke filled the air, covering the sky like a dream. The wind blew leaves and dust flew, as if they were all nervous and uneasy about the drama that was about to be performed.

Sika gradually felt a sense of urgency in his heart, frowned slightly, and asked: "At this moment, Tony must have nowhere to hide. How can we put pressure on him with all the friends around him?"

"Pressure is useless." Yang Yi shook his head slightly, with a sarcastic smile on his face, "This is the fate he chose for himself. He always thought he could control everything, but he didn't know that everyone is the result of his own choice."

Xika felt that Yang Yi's attitude was cold and indifferent, and she began to feel uneasy. She asked with concern: "Then, shouldn't those who did something wrong be sympathized? Although he made mistakes, his humanity should still be preserved."

"Sympathy?" Yang Yi smiled lightly, as if he had some reservations about the word, "Sympathy is the shelter for the weak, and the truth must be faced bravely. There is no sympathy in the world, only a price."

Xika paused with her chopsticks, and the food in her mouth lost its taste. She was speechless and tried hard to suppress her fear and sympathy.

"But I don't want this topic to end without sadness." Yang Yi turned slightly and exerted a little pressure, "What do you think Tony is feeling at this moment? Does he realize that his foolish behavior has caused such tragic consequences?"

"He... maybe he is feeling desperate." Xika finally spoke, his voice gradually getting lower and lower with a hint of uneasiness.

"Despair, indeed. Now he has to face the reality of the collapse of the building he built. Perhaps his relatives and friends will leave him in the crisis." Yang Yi's expression was cold, but resolute. "He needs to understand that escape is useless."

"But, Yang Yi, don't you think he can be saved?" Sika tentatively sought the light of hope, trying to find a way out for Tony.

"Master Tony no longer has any chance. The opportunity disappeared the moment he chose to cross that line." Yang Yi's tone gradually became colder, as if he was lost in deep thought.

"No need to argue anymore, let the situation develop on its own." Yang Yi gradually withdrew his gaze and put the bowl on the table.

Xika realized that Yang Yi was no longer willing to discuss the matter, so he asked cautiously, "So what should we do now? Should we just continue eating?"

"Of course." Yang Yi smiled slightly, "Life must go on. We should not let others go to waste their time, and let them do what they want."

Eventually, the tense atmosphere faded away on one side. The two continued to eat, even though there was still noise outside. However, in Yang Yi's opinion, it was just the voice of fate's judgment.

"What do you think will happen next?" Xika asked, looking up with concern in his eyes.
