The End of the World: Chaos

Chapter 464: Not Easy to Control

"Quicksilver, hurry up!" Yang Yi's impatient voice came from behind, and the sharp tone woke Quicksilver from his trance.

"I know, but I need to make some adjustments." Quicksilver came back to his senses, scratched his messy hair, and tried to calm himself down. Although he was a speedster, the rhythm at this moment was not easy to control.

Yang Yi leaned over to Quicksilver, his eyes showing concern, "Are you really okay? I'm not kidding, the situation today is extremely dangerous, especially here."

"Listen to what I said, I'm fine, I just fell down." Quicksilver frowned slightly, but he knew in his heart that what he suffered was not a simple fall. The pain in his abdomen became more and more severe, and he had to seize the urgent opportunity.

"Do you trust me?" Yang Yi's tone became more serious. "Don't deceive yourself. If you feel uncomfortable, tell me immediately and we will find another strategy."

Quicksilver took a deep breath and tried to put on a fearless attitude. "I just said there was nothing wrong, I just needed to rest for a while."

"I see you are not happy at all," Yang Yi pointed at Quicksilver's belly, with a hint of teasing in his tone, "You just said you need time, but you are actually running away."

"I've already said it, please don't mention it again!" Quicksilver was annoyed. Why was Yang Yi always so "concerned" at the critical moment? He didn't need this so-called "care" at all.

"Okay, I won't mention it." Yang Yi shrugged, "But you have to be ready at any time. We can't delay any longer."

"Wait a minute!" Quicksilver's voice was steady and firm. He fixed his eyes on the castle in the distance, and sorted out his thoughts in his mind. "I need to know the situation in the castle. Do you know it?"

Yang Yi looked up at the castle, and after a moment of contemplation, he said, "From what I have observed, there are not many guards at the gate, but the internal security arrangements are extremely complex. We need to understand the layout before entering."

"Please calculate the time accurately and give me some space and speed. I need to sort out the plan." Quicksilver began to draw arcs in the air, thinking about how to get through the obstacles as quickly as possible.

"What else do you need? I can help you." Yang Yi casually wiped the sweat from his forehead, a hint of eagerness in his eyes.

"I am a speedster. Give me some time and I will be able to find a suitable entrance." Quicksilver raised the corner of his mouth slightly, his eyes gradually flashed with light, and the plan in his mind began to take shape.

Yang Yi patted Quicksilver's shoulder, and although he was serious, he showed approval, "Okay, try to be faster, don't keep us waiting for too long."

Quicksilver nodded and began to quickly analyze the interior of the castle. The architectural structure gradually became clear in his mind, and all possible exits and entrances emerged one by one.

"We need to gather all the information to ensure that everything is foolproof. Although I trust you, if you make a wrong judgment, the consequences will be disastrous." Yang Yi checked his equipment to make sure everything was ready.

"I understand, I will do my best." Quicksilver's voice became more determined. After some thought, he decided to start from the nearby grove, which was hidden and difficult to be discovered, and was the best choice.

"Everything is clear. I'll go to the grove and wait for you now." Quicksilver turned around and told Yang Yi, and the decision that had been long considered was made.

"Be careful, and come for rescue immediately if necessary." Yang Yi's tone was unquestionable seriousness. Although he was fighting against a powerful enemy, his trust in Quicksilver remained firm.

"I will be careful." Quicksilver smiled slightly, then disappeared in an instant, leaving Yang Yi standing alone, observing his surroundings carefully, and occasionally glancing at the place where Quicksilver disappeared.

In the shining light, Quicksilver rushed towards the grove like the wind. The wind swept past on both sides, and there was a whistling sound like the sound of nature in his ears. It seemed as if he had turned into a wind spirit, breaking through all difficulties and shackles.

Quicksilver was pleased with himself. The advantages of teleportation wisdom and speed made his actions irresistible. As the shadow of the grove drew closer, his eyes gradually became firmer.

Sure enough, when he reached the edge of the woods, he couldn't help but slow down his pace. In this quiet place, the only sound he could hear was the rustling of leaves, and the outside world seemed to be isolated.

"Hmm... looks like everything is safe for now." He secretly rejoiced, but when he turned around, he saw a gray shadow slowly approaching from the depths of the woods.

"Damn it!" Quicksilver was instantly alert, his senses became sharp, he quickly found a dark place to hide, held his breath, and observed quietly.

The gray shadow was getting closer and closer. Quicksilver could feel an oppressive aura approaching him. He frowned slightly, realizing that there was danger lurking here.

"What on earth is this...?" Quicksilver felt a little uneasy, but he knew that he had to remain calm and deal with it unless he panicked.

Now, the shadowy figure walked out, and Quicksilver finally saw its true face - it turned out to be the guard of the castle, with a serious expression and eyes as sharp as a knife, which made people shudder.

"Don't let anyone get close to the castle!" the guard shouted, his voice piercing through the woods like thunder and striking Quicksilver's heart.

"That was a close call..." Quicksilver breathed a sigh of relief, thinking about how to deal with the current predicament. At this moment, he knew that this opportunity was rare and he must make good use of it.

"If I can maneuver through the woods and avoid the guards' sight, I can definitely get in cleverly." He thought to himself, calculating every complicated route.

Then, Quicksilver quietly moved slowly along the path between the trees, trying to stay out of the sight of the guards, planning his next move.

In a few breaths, Quicksilver finally arrived at the designated stop. He took a deep breath, tried to concentrate, and was determined to move with absolute speed and caution.

"Let's go!" Quicksilver muttered to himself, and with subtle movements he leaped out like the wind, rushing through the loose woods and heading straight towards the castle.
