The bandage spirit becomes a spirit! Luffy and the others are surprised!
Chapter 41 Decision
"As long as you have meat to eat, the illness will be cured, right, Sanji!" Luffy, who had not yet realized the seriousness of the problem, confirmed with Sanji.
Sanji is not as optimistic as Luffy. This involves the safety of his beloved Miss Nami. After thinking for a while, he said dejectedly, "I plan to make some simple sick meals, just like for Dazai, but this can only play a role in conditioning the body at most, and it cannot reach the level of curing the disease."
Looking at the curious Luffy and Usopp, Sanji continued to add, "And during the voyage, I will spend 100 times more time preparing Nami and Weiwei's meals. Not only must they use fresh ingredients and meat, but they must also be nutritious. If they are a little bit spoiled, I will give them to you..."
"???! What!" This was the first time Usopp knew about this and he once again had a deep understanding of Sanji's double standards.
Sanji spread his hands, a little helpless, "When I came to be the chef on this ship, I had no problem with general nutritional adjustments, but as for what the patients should eat and what they should avoid, I had no way of knowing."
"Why not just let her eat it all!" Luffy suggested with a pout.
"The patient has no strength to eat!" Sanji sighed and rejected Luffy's proposal.
"It's 40 degrees, the temperature has risen again!" Weiwei took out the thermometer and looked at the temperature. What should she do!
"There should be a doctor in Alabasta. How long will it take, Weiwei?" Usopp asked Weiwei with his arms folded.
"I don't know, but it won't be possible within a week, and Nami can't hold on until then!" He slumped on the stool weakly, his back hunched, feeling very uncomfortable.
"Is it so uncomfortable to have this disease?" Luffy was a little curious.
"I don't know, I've never been sick!" Usopp and Sanji tilted their heads and said in unison.
"Hey! You two are so unreasonable!" Weiwei pointed at Sanji and the others angrily and looked at Nami on the bed worriedly, "Nami must be feeling very uncomfortable, with a high fever of 40 degrees. It can't continue like this. Nami might die!"
Dazai Osamu had been observing for a long time and heard how Sanji took good care of Nami. In fact, he had long known that Sanji treated boys and girls differently in terms of food. Thinking about the previous training, Nami's physique should have improved a bit. The evidence was himself. Dazai Osamu knew very well that although the book had given him some cheats, his body was still weathered and had been damaged inside. If he fell ill, both of them should lie down instead of Nami, who had a stronger physique than himself, falling down.
"Weiwei, please help check if there are any bite marks on Nami!" Dazai said with a gloomy face. Weiwei was a little puzzled, but nodded and did as he was told.
The others were kicked out of the room.
"Will Nami die?" Luffy kept walking back and forth at the door, realizing the seriousness of the problem.
"Nami, don't die!" Sanji clenched his hands and raised them to his forehead. Tears flowed from his eyes like running water, and he said with a choked voice of prayer.
"Waaaaaah——" Black Crow also screamed in pain.
The door opened, and it was Nami, who was sick.
"I'm very sorry to have made you all worry!" Nami said comfortingly as she looked at the people gathered at the door for her. She forced a smile on her lips, but her face flushed and sweat kept dripping from her forehead. It was obvious that her body was still feverish.
"It turns out she's fine now!" Luffy happily looked at Nami who looked like she was fine.
"She's obviously just holding on!" Usopp was not assimilated by Luffy. He rolled his eyes at Luffy and said.
Inside the room, Weiwei was slumped on the ground, holding a newspaper, looking listless.
Dazai Osamu caught a glimpse of the corner of the newspaper and understood everything.
The newspaper reported that 30 of Alabasta's [Royal Army] had rebelled and joined the [Rebels]. Now the national situation in Alabasta is tense and serious.
Nami kept this newspaper specially to prevent Weiwei from worrying. She didn't expect to use it as a trump card to make Weiwei make up her mind to go to Alabasta as soon as possible? However, Nami, your idea is bound to go astray. You two are good people who care about each other, the kind of good people who are praised by the world for sacrificing for each other. What decision will good people make?
"Why are you looking at the ship!" Nami shouted at Zoro who was looking at the ship outside with full energy.
"What's the matter? Isn't the ship straight?" Zoro said unconvinced, pointing forward.
"The ship has already deviated from the course at a right angle. You need to look at the needle!"
"Don't bother, look at that cloud in the sky!"
"The clouds move and their shapes repeat!" Nami was furious and covered her forehead. "I can't take it anymore. I have a headache!"
"Leave it to me, just go and lie down!" Zoro was full of confidence.
"I'm worried about leaving it to you!" Nami wiped her sweaty bangs, moved her eyes to the right, and sniffed, "Has the air smelled different?"
The weather on the sea is currently clear and peaceful.
"Go and call them over!" Nami noticed the unusual weather change and gave orders in a swift and decisive manner, "Zoro, go and steer the ship to the south, Usopp, turn the sail, and let the wind blow on the port side..."
The people on the boat moved under Nami's command.
Sanji held a cigarette in his mouth and asked in confusion while working, "What's going on? The weather is great and the sea is calm!"
"There's wind," Nami stood at the railing on the second floor, looking into the distance. The constant heat burned her brain, and her consciousness was a little fuzzy. "There's a strong wind blowing in front of us, it seems like--"
"It's so hot!" Luffy stretched out his hand to Nami's forehead, interrupting Nami's unfinished words. Luffy's hand was burned by the temperature of Nami's forehead. This temperature is not acceptable to humans. He looked at Nami worriedly, "Let's stop the ship and find a doctor!"
"Stop talking, the temperature is usually this high, go and pull the rope!" Nami was still holding on and sending Lu Fei away.
"After it's over, go and rest!" Dazai Osamu changed his usual relaxed and playful look, his eyelids drooping. Dazai Osamu would not force Nami to rest now. He respected Nami's choice, but afterwards, she had to go back to bed and wait to see the doctor.
"Everyone! I have something to say," Weiwei had already made up her mind. She walked out of the room and said to the people downstairs, "You have already asked me to take the ship, and I really don't have the face to make a willful request. Now, my country has fallen into an unprecedented crisis. I must go back quickly and cannot hesitate for a moment. Now this ship is heading to Alabasta at the fastest speed, so-"
Nami leaned against the wall to save some energy. She listened to Weiwei's words and felt relieved. It seemed that Weiwei had made the decision as she expected. She smiled happily, "Of course, isn't it agreed?"
Dazai Osamu looked at Nami's relieved smile and chuckled without saying anything.
"So, since everyone agrees, let's find an island with a doctor immediately, heal Nami as soon as possible, and then head to Alabasta. This is the [fastest speed] of this ship, right?" She smiled slightly. This was her decision.
"Yes, this is the fastest speed!" Luffy grinned and said affirmatively.
"Well said, Weiwei, I have a new respect for you!" Sanji's love for Weiwei reached a new level.
"Good manners!" Zoro agreed with Weiwei's decision.
"Your Highness, this is a good decision!" Dazai Osamu whistled and clapped to liven up the atmosphere.
"I'm sorry, Nami, you sacrificed yourself for me. Don't hold on any longer. Go and rest!" Weiwei ran to Nami and said apologetically. Weiwei naturally understood Nami's good intentions, but Weiwei really couldn't bear to give up Nami for the sake of the people. If she did that, she would look down on herself. She could only make the best decision for the time being.
"I'm sorry, Weiwei, I seem to be unable to hold on any longer!" She has reached her limit. She can't hold on for this long, no matter how strong Nami's willpower is.
Nami fell down weakly, but Weiwei grabbed her in time and put Nami's arm on her shoulders.
A huge tornado appeared in front of them, rushing straight into the sky. The strong wind pulled the surrounding air and headed towards the direction where the Merry had originally come from.
"That's the position just now!" Weiwei realized that Nami's decision avoided a head-on collision with the tornado. "Amazing, someone said that there are no signs of a tornado on the Grand Line, but Nami actually--" Weiwei looked at the tornado that was going away, turned her head to glance at the uncomfortable Nami, and had a new understanding of Nami's sailing ability.
The Merry swayed alone on the rippling sea. The ship kept shaking. After a long time, the tornado slowly moved away.
The Merry escaped.
