The areas in the zoo are clearly divided, and there is also a special shuttle bus. Leng Yujing bought a ticket to the wild animal area.

As the shuttle bus moves forward, eye-catching lines with highly saturated colors are painted on the ground, arrows mark the direction, colorful gravel is inlaid on the half wall on both sides of the road, and the bushes are neatly trimmed, presenting a sense of staggered layers depending on the height of the ground.

Park chairs and trash cans can be seen everywhere, as well as snack stands and vending machines interspersed at various roadside intersections. The animal's cartoon image is painted on the exhibit area near the animal, making it easy to identify.

The wild animal area is on the other side of the mountain, basically at the innermost part of the zoo. The special shuttle bus did not stop on the way and took more than half an hour to arrive at the station.

Walking along the route on the ground, each animal exhibition area consists of two parts: an indoor rest area and an outdoor activity area. The first one you arrive at is the lion exhibition area.

I chose to come in the afternoon because I was afraid that it would be too hot at noon and the animals would not want to come out. My main purpose of coming here was to see if I could understand what the animals were saying, so I didn't stay in each exhibition area for long.

As we walked along the way, we saw that lions, tigers, black bears, and every other beast was lazy, basically lying down motionless. Occasionally, we heard a few conversations, but we couldn't tell whether they were made by tourists or animals.

Going further ahead is the display area of ​​prairie wolves. I thought I would see something different, such as a majestic leader leading a pack of wolves to patrol the territory, or a pack of wolves chasing prey...

The turf-covered habitat was dotted with mounds of various sizes and rocks. There was a small pond with rippling running water, and broken logs and dead tree trunks were lying on the edge.

The sun shines down, casting dots of light on the grass. Occasionally, the wind blows, pressing down the grass. More than a dozen chickens and rabbits are jumping around on the ground, creating a lively scene.

Just ignore the gray prairie wolves that clump together.

A chicken was pecking at the chicken while walking forward. It came to the mouth of a wolf. The wolf sniffed its nose, half-opened its eyelids, looked at the chicken with disgust, then turned its head to the other side and continued to sleep.

You guys should at least move!

The other wolf kicked the rabbit that was close to its legs and sent it flying.

At this moment, she wanted very much to be an animal in the exhibition area, with no worries about food and water, a greenhouse in the winter, air conditioning in the summer, and even a mate assigned to her, and she wouldn't have to raise her own children.

The activity space of the beasts in the exhibition area is still some distance away from the tourists. Leng Yujing felt that it might be too far, so it was normal that she couldn't hear what they said.

You still have to find an exhibition area that is closer.

The scissors under her feet pointed to the reptile exhibition hall ahead, and the first thing Leng Yujing thought of was snakes.

People say that snakes' bodies are slippery and cold, and I have always wanted to touch them, but I really don't dare. When I see people taking photos while holding snakes in scenic spots, even if they repeatedly assure me that there is no danger, I still don't dare to spend the money.

There are more than a dozen species of snakes on display here, and the scales of each snake are of different colors, especially the vertical pupils, which reflect cold light and are as bright as gems, making people unable to help but take a second look. Some snakes are coiled up with their heads on their bodies, and some are hanging on branches in circles.

For Leng Yujing, she is afraid of snakes, but she can't help getting close to them. Every time she sees a display in a reptile house or sees related videos, she will go in to take a look. Occasionally, she will also look up some information about snakes. But if this glass wall is removed, Leng Yujing will definitely stay away from them.

It was as if the snake had a dangerous mystery that attracted her and only made her approach it when she felt all-round safety.

Leng Yujing stopped in front of a display case, where a black and white snake was on display. Compared with other snakes, this snake was much smaller, with a tiny head. It had round black bean-like eyes, and was looking up at her.

"Hello little girl, would you like to play with me?"

It made a childish sound and spit out its tongue, looking harmless and cute.

Leng Yujing glanced at the animal introduction in front of the display cabinet: Bungarus crataegi, Animalia, Phylum Chordata, Class Reptilia, Order Squamata, Family Elapidae, Genus Krait...highly poisonous.

Nothing else matters. The two words "highly poisonous" are reflected directly into Leng Yujing's eyes.

As she walked along, Leng Yujing heard a lot of sounds. After confirming that she could hear snakes talking, she quickly left the reptile exhibition hall without stopping.

Standing under the clear sky, Leng Yujing took a deep breath. It turned out that snakes were not as aloof as they looked.

Unlike the special shuttle bus when you first enter the park, each exhibition area has a fixed station with two types of vehicles. One is a bus that stops at every station, and the other is a shuttle bus that goes directly back to the park entrance.

It takes nearly two hours for the bus to make a round trip. Although it is slow, it is free, and you can ride it unlimited times on the same day with your ticket.

We took the bus to the herbivore area. They were more energetic than the wild animals. They were all eating grass with their heads down, taking leisurely walks, wagging their tails and shaking their ears.

I bought some grass feed and fed the giraffes in the high-platform interactive area, listening to their conversations and complaints.

Basically, they are about who slept too much and didn't have a meal yesterday, whether the grass tastes good today, the weather is so comfortable... and so on.

Once again, I sigh that they live such a comfortable life.

Before leaving, Leng Yujing wanted to go to the primate park on impulse, but regretted it as soon as she entered.

There were a lot of chirping sounds, and the amazing thing was that Leng Yujing could tell which ones were animals' words just by listening.

The primate's voice was relatively low, but the tone that sounded very similar to that of a human, and the content was so annoying that Leng Yujing's fists were clenched after hearing it.

Primates basically live in groups. Each race is led by a monkey king, and the little monkeys under him each do their own thing.

A young macaque took a banana from a human's hand, ran behind a rock, glanced left and right, and carefully peeled the banana skin. Before he could take a bite, the banana flesh was snatched away by another older macaque, who sat next to the young monkey and finished the banana flesh in two or three bites.

The little macaque was unhappy: "How dare you steal my banana!"

The old macaque flapped his paws and said, "Go ask for it again. If you act cute, humans will give it to you."

The little monkey believed it, walked to the fence, stood up, grabbed the mesh, and stared at a banana in a girl's hand with blinking eyes.

The girl smiled happily, squatted down and handed the banana to it: "What a cute monkey, come and eat it."

The little monkey took it back and peeled the banana happily. The old monkey next to him came to grab it again. The little monkey was ready to dodge, but half of it was still taken away. He was immediately furious: "Old man! Why are you taking it again! Go and get it yourself!"

The old macaque calmly ate the half banana he had snatched: "Why are you in such a hurry? There are so many people here. Go over and act cute. I'm old and can only eat what's ready."
