The war started.

The distant and desolate sound of the horn awakened everyone, and the knights climbed up the city wall one after another, with Bennett following behind them.

In the distance, the orcs' battle flags were hoisted high. Ten thousand people was definitely a hopeless number for Razlan. Looking at the dense brown figures in the distance, the morale on the city wall was low. The orcs' warriors were not ordinary soldiers, they were all extraordinary warriors.

Most people here had never participated in the Orc War, but the scouts' experiences had long been spread throughout the army, and there was a hint of fear in the eyes of most knights.

Veteran Duke looked at everyone. He knew everyone's fear, but he didn't say anything. As long as the mage behind took action, these orcs would not be able to attack.

On the city wall, soldiers carried barrels of crude oil to the wall, black smoke rose, piles of lead blocks melted in iron pots, and a pungent smell came, that was the stench of lead vapor. The knights in the tower already had javelins in their hands, and the knights below had their swords out of their swords. Everyone was ready for the orcs to climb the wall.

The orcs were not fools and knew that climbing the wall was not easy, so they did not push the climbing vehicle forward directly, but pushed the catapult first.

The long arm was raised, and several tons of stone smashed the tower of the city wall. Fortunately, the knight jumped out early and no casualties were caused.

Watching the orcs continue to fill the stones, Bennett took out the gem, unfolded the dragon skin book, and threw a fireball. The distance was too far and the spell collapsed before it arrived.

"Have we no catapults?"

Kenny looked back at Bennett and said sarcastically, "Are you paying for the maintenance of such a large piece of equipment?"

Indeed, if it is too small, it is useless, and if it is too big, it cannot be maintained. Make it now? The orcs blocked the forest as soon as they appeared. This time, the orc commander was not brainless.

The stones came whizzing again, this time hitting the people on the city wall. The three extraordinary knights took action and smashed the stones, but this came at a price. They had limited physical strength and could no longer intercept them.

The orcs in the distance were still loading stones into the catapults.

The war had just begun, and it was already so cruel? Except for Duke, everyone was a little desperate.

The cold wind blew across the top of the wizard tower. Mervyn wrapped himself in his wizard robe. The white light in his eyes was still strange. The stubble on his chin was uneven, and his dry white hair was cut by someone, with some parts long and some parts short.

The Mage Tower can extend the Mage's spirit further, just like now, Mervyn knows everything about the battlefield clearly, but he came a little late, after all, his research has reached the final stage.

The light of the spell bloomed, and fireballs flew from the top of the tower toward the orc battlefield, destroying all of their catapults. The wizard left the top of the tower without looking at the result.

There was cheering on the city walls.

The orc army was in an uproar.

The heart-wrenching feeling in her chest came again, it was the pain of a meteorite piercing through her. Lusitaia shouted to Hannibal in panic: "They have mages and Scourge mages. Hannibal, you should mobilize all the troops. We can't win this battle. You should..."

"That's enough, Lusitaia. That wizard won't attack again. I have a connection with him."

"What? You have a connection to humans?"

The old orc's face was full of surprise. What was this?

"For revenge, I will make any possible deal. Don't worry, if it's impossible, I will ask for help."

The old orc regained his sanity. They still had a way: "Why not just call the dragon?"

“That’s part of the deal.”

The old orc looked at the city in the distance, put his giant hammer on his shoulder, and said leisurely: "What about us? Can God grant us access to the battlefield?"

Hannibal licked his exposed fangs and raised his broadsword: "Of course."

Then he shouted, "Move the ramparts and ramming vehicles forward."

The orc warriors pushed the climbing vehicle forward with their shields. They had no armor or runes on their bodies. The armor from the extraordinary world was basically only useful for ordinary people.

The people on the city wall were waiting for the wizard to continue his attack. A knight threw a javelin toward the city, and then everyone realized that Mervyn would not attack.

"Where's our mage?"

"Isn't he a Scourge Mage?"

"We send a lot of money to the Mage Tower every year."

……

There was already a lot of discussion on the city wall, but some people's eyes lit up.

"All mages are traitors. We should expel them. How much money should we give to that old man Mervyn every year?"

Kenny's words were obviously personal, but they were what most people felt.

Sierra stood beside Bennett, she would always support him.

Duke glanced at Kenny and said to Bennett, "It's your turn, Master Bennett."

"I'm not worthy of being a master, but I'm enough for this distance."

Bennett glanced at Kenny, opened the wizard's book, took the gem handed to him by the soldier, and pressed it on the rune array on the book. Everyone stopped complaining, as they all remembered the collapsed city wall that day.

A blue light flashed, and a fireball shot toward the battlefield. Bennett took the gem handed to him by the soldier behind him, and another fireball shot out.

Lusitaia felt pain in his chest again, and he looked at Hannibal again.

Hannibal knew what he was going to say, and the soldiers had the same question, as did he himself.

Picking up the dragon tooth broadsword, he rushed directly towards the fireball. The orcs looked at Hannibal with wide eyes.

The loud noise and flames knocked their chieftain away and he fell heavily to the ground. The orcs stopped and some even planned to escape.

"Look, he's up."

"This spell is fake."

"Go, kill all those two-legged sheep."

……

Just as the orcs were excited, a fireball fell on their wall-climbing vehicle, blowing the huge vehicle into pieces, along with the orcs' broken limbs.

The orcs' passion was extinguished again.

"Lusitaia, intercept those fireballs, they can't harm us."

The old orc covered his chest with his hands. It was not easy to overcome the fear of spells, especially since he had been tormented by this fear for hundreds of years.

Watching Hannibal being blown away again and again and getting up again and again, the old orc smashed his trembling legs hard with his fists.

"Move, move quickly!!!"

No one noticed the old orc's abnormality. They were all trying desperately to get away from the deadly city vehicle.

Seeing the climbing vehicles being destroyed one after another in a very short time, the old orc's eyes became bloodshot. He drew the dagger from his waist and stabbed his thigh. The blood aroused the primitive bloodiness in his genes. Having come this far, how could he be defeated by fear?

"No victory, no death!"

After a roar, a figure rushing towards the fireball appeared on the battlefield.

Inspired by their leader, the orcs returned to their positions. Most of them were from the Lusitaya tribe, and they had been taught the fear of spells since childhood.

Now, that fearless tribe is back.

Bennett naturally observed that the morale of the orcs below was high. The thermite spell had too slow a flight time, otherwise the two grasshoppers would have died long ago.

There were only four left out of dozens of city vehicles. Bennett knew that this was his limit, so he stopped casting spells. If he continued, he would not be able to defend and kill the two divine gifts.

The atmosphere on the city wall became tense again, and the battle to climb the city wall was about to begin.
