By the time Li Xueyue finished riding, the sun had already set on the horizon. After handing Black Moon to the horse boy, she immediately returned to her bedroom, took out her diary, and walked towards Li Chenyang's room. Seeing that it was empty, she decided to go to the library where he was often found.

"You're here." She said after pushing open the door. As expected, Li Chenyang was leaning comfortably on the window seat, reading a book.

"Have you gone out with Black Moon?"

"Yeah." Li Xueyue nodded. "I have something to show you, but first you have to promise not to get mad at me."

Li Chenyang raised his eyebrows. He put a bookmark on the page he was reading and closed the book.

"I don't make false promises." His eyes fell on the object she was holding in her arms. "What is that?"

"A book."

"Why so mysterious?" He pondered, "Unless..."

"Unless what?" she asked curiously, tilting her head at his pointed look.

“Is this an erotic novel?”

"Brother Chen!" She gasped, horrified to find that he actually knew about the existence of such books. "For all I know, you may be reading one too!"

Li Chenyang looked at her embarrassed expression and smiled. Her cheeks turned red and she avoided his gaze. "Your reaction is suspicious."

"I didn't expect you to say something like that."

"You shouldn't have known about pornography in the first place." Li Chenyang laughed and sat up straight. "So what do you want to show me?"

"Well, a week or two ago, I felt bored, so I decided to wander around the house and find something to do." Li Xueyue walked towards him.

"Well, I might have… um, snuck into a restricted area without knowing it was closed to everyone in the house."

Dark clouds rolled over Li Chenyang's face, making his expression gloomy. "You walked into Minghua's old corridor without knowing it, didn't you?"

"Yes, it is……"

He sighed helplessly and leaned his head against the car window. "Xueyue, you shouldn't go there. This is the only rule in the house-"

"I didn't know I wasn't supposed to hang out there! I didn't know it was restricted until I got back from there."

"Well, in your defense, we should have told you this earlier." Li Chenyang frowned slightly. "Does it matter?"

"Well, I found a book." Li Xueyue showed it to him and his eyes widened.

“Is this Minghua’s diary?”

"Yes.??

"Have you read it?"

"I did it."

"Xue Yue!" he hissed, standing up. "You can't just read someone else's personal diary! It's private property."

She clenched her fingers quietly and stared at the floor. "I know..."

Li Chenyang sighed again, frowning with worry. "Have you told anyone about this?"

"No, you're the first person I told," she admitted.

Li Chenyang frowned slightly. "I have to show this book to my father. He will ask us where we found it. Maybe I can say that I found it--"

"You can tell him the truth," she blurted out. "You don't have to lie to your father for my sake."

Li Chenyang paused. He examined her wide eyes, filled with panic and pale skin. He raised his hand, and she closed her eyes tightly, waiting for a scolding. He just put his hand on the top of her head and ruffled her hair.

Li Xueyue opened her eyes suddenly. She blinked rapidly. Wasn't he... angry with her?

"I'm proud that you're being honest about this," Li Chenyang told her softly, letting go of her hand. "I need to take a look at this first. There's no doubt that my father will confiscate this."

He tucked the book under his arm.

Li Xueyue glanced nervously at the dairy. “I should warn you that the things inside are not pleasant.”

Li Chenyang narrowed his eyes, not because of her, but because of what she said. He glanced at the book and began to flip through the pages.

"wait!"

He paused and looked up before reading the first diary entry. "What is it?"

"Maybe you should sit down and read this article. It's very shocking and--"

"I'll be fine, don't worry." Li Chenyang chuckled and stretched out his fingers to smooth the wrinkles on her forehead. "If you worry too much, you will age too fast."

He closed the book. "I'll read it after dinner. Tomorrow morning, we can tell this to Father. You can explain your story. How does it sound?"

Li Xueyue nodded readily. "This is a reliable plan."

"Great." Li Chenyang said. "I'm sure dinner is ready. Let's go feed piglet number two."

"Okay- hey!" she gasped, her jaw hanging open. "You didn't just call me piggy!"

"I was being nice. I actually wanted to call you a pig."

"Well then, you nerd!"

"Oh, I read a lot of books--oh!" Li Chenyang frowned and rolled his eyes at her. He covered his burning calf and hissed in pain. "How could you kick your brother like this?"

Li Xueyue crossed her arms and raised her chin high. "Which elder brother said that his sister is a pig? You are really the elder brother! Humph!"

She stomped out of the library, only to hear, "Oh, no you don't! Come back here!"

Li Xueyue glanced back and saw, to her horror, that he was chasing her. She was afraid of the bounce on his forehead and began to quicken her pace. To her delight, he was limping a little.

When she let out a chuckle, Li Chenyang's eyes narrowed. "Is it funny to see me collapse? Just wait, I'm going to flick your forehead and leave a bump!"

“You talk as if you can catch me!” Li Xueyue looked back and stuck out her tongue, quickening her pace until thunderous footsteps echoed in the corridor. At the speed she rushed to the restaurant, you might have thought she was running away from a serial killer.

When approaching the restaurant entrance, Li Xueyue slowed down. She tidied her hair and clothes, took a deep breath, and regained her composure. Seeing Li Chenyang catching up quickly, she quickly pushed open the restaurant door.

"On time!" Duchess Wang Qixing clapped her hands and said happily. "I was just about to ask Wenmin to pick you up in the room."

Li Xueyue walked into the room with a smile and walked quickly to her chair. As soon as she sat down, Li Chenyang rushed into the room. "Come here, piggy number two!"

Lord Li Chenyang coughed and held back his laughter, while Duchess Wang Qixing let out a shy gasp.

"You can't just call your sister a pig!"

"She called me a nerd, Mom." Li Chenyang frowned and crossed his arms.

"Well, it's better to call you that." Li Wenmin rolled his eyes and said, "Mom, the name Xiaozhu is very suitable for our little greedy boy."

"Wenmin, stop being hypocritical." Duchess Wang Qixing sneered and sat down at the table.

King Li Chenyang shook his head helplessly. "Will there be some minor disputes during dinner?"

Li Wenmin gave Xueyue a sharp look. "I don't know, maybe we should ask the egg thief!"

"Who? Me?" Li Xueyue blinked and asked innocently. "I thought it was you, Brother Wen, aren't you Piggy No. 1?"

Li Wenmin took a breath after hearing her words. "Why, I'm angry!"

"Oh, shut up and have dinner." Li Chenyang snorted and sat down at the table.

“Hey, no one invited you to this conversation!” Li Wenmin stuck out his tongue, but was caught by the ear.

“Young man, I didn’t train you to be like this during meals.” Duchess Wang Qixing frowned, turned to look at Li Chenyang, and grabbed his ear, causing him to cry out in pain.

"Mom!" Li Chenyang screamed, trying to pull his ears back. "What did I do?"

“You rushed into this room like a rogue.” Duchess Wang Qixing snorted. “My children seem to lack discipline today!”

The twins exchanged glances with Xueyue, and all three had the same shy expression.
