The heaven is surrounded by clouds and mist, and is magnificent and peaceful. However, under this peaceful appearance, there are undercurrents. Sun Wukong, the Monkey King who once caused havoc in the heaven, was suppressed by the Buddha for 500 years. After regaining his freedom, he did not forget his old hatred and vowed to compete with the heaven again.

Sun Wukong stood outside the Nantian Gate, holding the golden hoop in his hand, exuding an unyielding aura. He looked up at the high and lofty Lingxiao Palace, and a sneer appeared on the corner of his mouth: "Old Jade Emperor, today, I, Sun, will come to seek justice!"

Upon hearing the news, all the gods in heaven came, each holding a magic weapon, ready to fight. However, Sun Wukong's strength was no longer what it used to be. He held the golden hoop and swung it out, and wind and thunder surged, instantly repelling several heavenly soldiers and generals.

Sun Wukong knew that if he wanted to truly compete with the Heavenly Court, his own strength alone was not enough. So he set his sights on the alchemy room of Taishang Laojun - there were countless elixirs hidden there, enough to greatly increase his strength.

In the dead of night, Sun Wukong transformed into a golden light and quietly sneaked into the Tushita Palace. In the alchemy room, the fire was burning and the elixir was fragrant. Sun Wukong's eyes were like torches, and he quickly locked onto the legendary Nine-Turn Golden Elixir. Just as he was about to take it, he suddenly felt a chill on his back. Taishang Laojun had stood behind him without knowing when.

"You evil beast, how dare you trespass into the forbidden area!" Taishang Laojun shouted angrily and waved the whisk in his hand. Suddenly, wind and clouds surged, and thousands of runes surrounded it, forming a solid defense network.

Sun Wukong snorted coldly, and the golden hoop instantly grew larger, smashing into the defense net. The two collided, making a deafening roar. Sun Wukong took advantage of the momentum and jumped up, the golden hoop in his hand like a spirit snake out of a cave, rushing straight to the face of Taishang Laojun.

Taishang Laojun is one of the Three Pure Ones, with boundless magical power. When he saw Sun Wukong coming aggressively, he was not in a hurry, but gently waved his whisk, and countless magic weapons emerged from the void and attacked Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong's body was agile, and his golden hoop danced impenetrably, knocking down those magic weapons one by one. However, Taishang Laojun's magic weapons were endless, and each one contained amazing power. Sun Wukong gradually felt exhausted, but he had a tenacious character, and the more adverse the situation, the more it stimulated his fighting spirit.

"Hmph, a mere demon monkey dares to be an enemy of me, Taishang Laojun!" Taishang Laojun sneered and suddenly took out the diamond cutter, which was a treasure that could take everything. The diamond cutter turned into a golden light and went straight to Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong knew something was wrong and tried to dodge. But the diamond cutter was so fast that it was in front of him in the blink of an eye. Sun Wukong had no choice but to use his golden cudgel to resist. With a loud bang, the golden cudgel was caught by the diamond cutter and could not move.

Sun Wukong lost his golden cudgel, and his strength was greatly reduced. But he was the Great Sage Equaling Heaven after all, so how could he easily admit defeat? He roared, and his aura surged. His body expanded rapidly, and instantly turned into a giant ape thousands of feet tall. This was his unique skill - the Law of Heaven and Earth.

The giant ape roared and pounced on Taishang Laojun, and its might seemed to shake the heaven and earth. Taishang Laojun frowned slightly when he saw this, but he was not afraid. He put his hands together, closed his eyes and concentrated, and after a moment, he suddenly opened his eyes and whispered: "The sky and the earth are boundless, Qiankun borrows the law!"

As Taishang Laojun finished speaking, the spiritual energy between heaven and earth seemed to be awakened, and gathered around him frantically. Taishang Laojun's figure gradually blurred, and finally turned into a dazzling golden light column, rushing straight into the sky.

The giant ape collided with the golden light column, bursting out with dazzling light and deafening roar. The entire heaven seemed to be shaking, and countless immortals were terrified.

Just as the two sides were fighting fiercely, a series of pictures suddenly flashed through Sun Wukong's mind: his carefree life in Huaguo Mountain, the hardships he went through to learn skills from a master, his heroism when he made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace... These pictures made him fall into deep thought.

"Why am I fighting?" Sun Wukong asked himself. Is it for revenge? Or to prove my strength? Or for the illusory honor?

Just as Sun Wukong was lost in confusion, he seemed to hear a gentle voice ringing in his ears: "Wukong, you were born from heaven and earth, and you are free. Why do you need to be burdened by these worldly affairs?"

Sun Wukong suddenly woke up, and he found that he had unknowingly left the state of law of heaven and earth. He looked up at Taishang Laojun, and saw that he was looking at him with the same eyes.

"Taishang Laojun, I understand." Sun Wukong said slowly, "I was born of heaven and earth, so I should follow the way of nature. Although today's battle is not my wish, but since it has come to this, I will fight you. However, no matter who wins or loses, I will let go of my obsession."

Taishang Laojun smiled when he heard this: "What a way to follow nature. Wukong, you really have extraordinary understanding. In this case, let's make friends through martial arts."

With the sound of a clear bell, the magic weapons in Taishang Laojun's hand dispersed one after another. He put away the diamond cutter and whisk and other treasures, leaving only a long sword in his hand.

Seeing this, Sun Wukong also put away his aura and returned to his original size, holding the golden hoop and standing still. The two smiled at each other and then flashed at the same time, turning into two streams of light and rushing towards each other.

However, this time they did not fight fiercely like before, but fought in a very tacit way. Every collision between sword and stick was like the sound of nature, which made people feel relaxed and happy.

After a fierce fight, the two finally stopped, put away their weapons and smiled at each other.

"Taishang Laojun, you are indeed a worthy opponent." Sun Wukong said with a smile, "Today's battle has benefited me a lot."

"Wukong, you are not bad either." Taishang Laojun replied, "Your strength and understanding have impressed me. But I hope you can remember what I said today, follow the way of nature and let go of your obsessions."

Sun Wukong nodded and then disappeared in a flash. He knew he still had a lot to do, but he was no longer the Monkey King who only knew revenge and proving himself.

From then on, Sun Wukong began to travel between heaven and earth, using his own power to help those in need and to maintain the peace and tranquility of heaven and earth. And he finally understood what true freedom and happiness were.

During his travels, Sun Wukong gradually realized the profound meaning of Laozi's words "follow the way of nature". He began to observe the world more deeply, from mountains and rivers to flowers, birds, fish and insects, from the fireworks of the human world to the immortals in heaven, each place contains the mystery of life and the truth of the universe.

By chance, Sun Wukong came to the coast of the East China Sea, where there was a mysterious bamboo forest, which was said to hide secrets from ancient times. He was curious and stepped into the depths of the bamboo forest. The bamboo forest was shrouded in mist, as if he had stepped into a dreamlike world. Suddenly, a melodious sound of a piano came from the mist, crisp and pleasant, touching the heart.

Sun Wukong followed the sound and saw a white-haired old man sitting on a bluestone playing the zither. The old man had a kind face and deep eyes, as if he could see through everything in the world. Sun Wukong stepped forward and saluted, asking about the old man's identity. The old man smiled and said, "I am the teacher of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, and my name is the East China Sea Zither Immortal. Since you are Sun Wukong, you are destined to be together. We meet today because we have something to say."

The sound of the Qin Immortal from the East Sea gradually stopped. He looked at Sun Wukong and said earnestly, "Wukong, although you have realized the truth, you still need to understand your mind and nature. True freedom is not about being unrestrained, but inner peace and freedom. You need to learn to let go, let go of the grudges of the past, and let go of your obsession with the future, so that you can achieve true liberation."

Sun Wukong suddenly became enlightened after hearing this. He recalled his life experience, from the birth of the stone monkey to his apprenticeship, from the havoc in the Heavenly Palace to being pressed under the Five Elements Mountain, and then to the journey to obtain scriptures. Every step was full of challenges and hardships. Now, he finally understood that all this was arranged by fate, all for him to be reborn.

Sun Wukong bid farewell to the Qin Fairy of the East Sea and continued his journey. But this time, his state of mind was completely different. He no longer fought to prove his strength, but to protect the peace and tranquility of the world.

He returned to Huaguo Mountain and was delighted to see his monkeys and grandchildren living carefree lives. He taught them martial arts, wisdom and courage, hoping that they could thrive and prosper on this land and be happy forever.

At the same time, Sun Wukong also kept an eye on the changes in the world. Whenever demons were causing chaos and people were suffering, he would always stand up and use his power to eliminate evil and protect the weak. His fame once again spread throughout the three realms, but this time, people no longer feared him, but respected and loved him.

As time went by, although Sun Wukong's life was long, it would eventually come to an end. When he was about to leave this world, he passed on his martial arts and wisdom to his most proud disciple, the Six-Eared Macaque. He hoped that the Six-Eared Macaque could inherit his legacy and continue to protect the peace and tranquility of the world.

Finally, Sun Wukong turned into a huge rock on the top of Huaguo Mountain, quietly guarding the land and his monkeys. His story has been passed down through the ages and has become an immortal legend. And he finally realized his wish - he found true freedom and happiness in following the way of nature.
