The Quinjet flew over the vast Pacific Ocean. Lin Nan looked at the endless sea, with a lot of thoughts in his mind. Suddenly, the radar showed a huge energy field ahead, which was the location of the underwater base.

"Prepare to land," Captain America commanded, "Everyone proceed with caution."

The Quinjet hovered outside the energy field, and the Avengers put on special diving gear and dived into the deep sea one by one. Lin Nan's armor had been modified so that he could move freely underwater. He felt a cool seawater wrapping around his whole body, and his vision and hearing became a little blurry.

"Keep in touch," Tony said over the communicator, "We have to find the entrance."

Lin Nan and Peter walked through the submarine base. It was pitch black around them, with only their helmet lights illuminating the narrow passage ahead. The base had a complex internal structure, with densely packed pipes and cabins everywhere, which looked very strange.

"We have to be careful," Lin Nan whispered, "This place doesn't look right."

"What is that?" Peter asked in surprise.

"I'm not sure, but it looks like some kind of energy source," Lin Nan replied, "This might be what we need."

Just as they were about to approach the device, the base suddenly shook and the alarm sounded throughout the space. Lin Nan and Peter looked at each other and knew that time was running out.

"Hurry, we need to charge the time controller!" Lin Nan shouted.

They acted quickly, and Lin Nan took out the time controller and connected it to the device. The controller began to absorb the energy released by the device, making a low humming sound.

"It's charging!" Peter said excitedly, "but we have to speed up."

The base was shaking more and more, the cracks in the walls and ceiling were widening, and water began to pour in. Lin Nan's heart tightened, knowing that they had to complete the charging before the base collapsed.

"We have to prepare for evacuation," Lin Nan said calmly, "Once the charging is complete, leave immediately."

Just then, hurried footsteps were heard in the passage behind them. Lin Nan and Peter turned around and saw a group of enemies in black combat uniforms rushing into the room, obviously to stop them.

"Looks like we'll have to charge while fighting," Peter said with a wry smile.

Lin Nan nodded, and they quickly entered combat mode. Lin Nan used the armor's energy shield to block the enemy's shooting, while Peter quickly knocked down several enemies with spider silk. The two cooperated well and repelled the enemies one by one, but the number of enemies increased, and the battle became more and more intense.

"It will take a few minutes for the time controller to be fully charged!" Lin Nan shouted, "We have to hold on!"

They continued to fight, the enemies seemed to keep coming, and the situation became increasingly serious. Lin Nan felt his strength gradually running out, but he knew he could not give up now.

Suddenly, an enemy threw a flash bomb at them. The strong flash blinded Lin Nan and Peter for a while, and the enemy rushed forward. Lin Nan barely regained his sight and saw an enemy wielding a sharp blade and attacking Peter.

"Peter, be careful!" Lin Nan shouted.

Peter dodged quickly, but was still cut on the arm by the sharp blade. He covered the wound in pain, but continued to fight. Lin Nan felt a surge of anger in his chest, and he exerted force suddenly, repelling several enemies.

"We have to hold on, Peter!" Lin Nan said gritting his teeth.

"I'm fine," Peter forced a smile, "The time controller is almost full!"

Finally, the time controller gave a clear beep, indicating that charging was complete. Lin Nan quickly unplugged the cable and put the time controller away.

"Go!" Lin Nan shouted.

The two quickly evacuated the room, and Lin Nan used the laser cutter of the armor to seal the metal door, temporarily blocking the enemy's pursuit. They ran along the way they came. The base was shaking more and more violently, the surrounding walls kept collapsing, and the water flow became more turbulent.

"We have to hurry," Peter gasped, "the base is about to collapse!"

They rushed to the exit with all their might, and finally rushed out of the base at the last moment and jumped into the sea. Lin Nan activated the thrusters of the armor and quickly floated up with Peter. Finally, they rushed out of the water and saw the Quinjet waiting not far away.

"Come up quickly!" Tony Stark's voice came through the communicator, "The base is going to explode!"

Lin Nan and Peter swam quickly towards the Quinjet, and their teammates quickly pulled them into the cabin. As soon as they entered the cabin, a violent explosion occurred behind them at the base, and a huge column of water shot up into the sky, deafening.

"Well done, guys," Captain America patted Lin Nan on the shoulder, "but this is not the end."

Back at the Avengers headquarters, Lin Nan and his teammates immediately began analyzing the energy response of the time controller and the mysterious device. Tony Stark and Bruce Banner were busy in the laboratory, trying to unravel the secret.

"This device is extremely powerful," Tony said, frowning, "but we need more clues to determine its source."

"We could use a time controller to track the source of this energy," Bruce suggested, "but this would require very precise manipulation."

Lin Nan and Peter listened carefully on the side. They knew that this mission required not only courage and strength, but also wisdom and patience.

"We must seize this opportunity," Lin Nan said firmly, "find the mastermind behind this and put an end to this disaster."

A few days later, the Avengers finally found a possible clue. A similar energy reaction was detected in a remote area in Africa. Lin Nan and his teammates immediately prepared to set out to investigate.
