Naruto: My Eye Technique is Infinite
Chapter 138 Aju
"Where's Xiaozhi? Isn't he with you?"
Tianshui looked around and found that Xiaozhi was nowhere to be seen, and he felt a little worried. He was worried that his intervention might have changed the original plot.
"Ash went to challenge the Crimson Gym early in the morning, and he also took the Pokémons for special training. We couldn't find him, so we waited for him at the Pokémon Center." Misty explained, with a hint of helplessness in her nonchalant tone.
Tianshui frowned, thinking: "Did Xiaozhi in the original work work so hard? It wasn't like this before."
Xiaoxia continued, "Actually, he used to be very lazy. After talking to Professor Oak, he learned that Xiaomao had collected the badges of all the gyms in Kanto. He became a different person and trained hard every day."
Tianshui nodded with a smile: "With Xiaomao's competition, this guy is indeed getting stronger and stronger. As long as he has enough motivation, Xiaozhi will definitely go further on the road of becoming a trainer."
Just as he finished speaking, Xiaozhi came running from a distance, waving and shouting: "Tianshui! When did you come?"
Seeing this, Tianshui smiled and opened his arms, as if to give Xiaozhi a warm hug. Xiaozhi was excited and stretched out his arms to greet him, but just as the two were about to hug, Tianshui turned around cleverly, hugged the Pikachu on Xiaozhi's shoulder directly, and raised it up playfully.
"Pikachu, long time no see! Did you miss me?" Tianshui asked with a smile, his face full of mischief.
Xiaozhi missed his target and stood there, looking at Tianshui with resentment: "You still have such a bad taste."
Tianshui laughed, put Pikachu back on Xiaozhi's shoulder, and then asked: "How many badges have you collected now?"
"I have collected five and am going to challenge the Crimson Gym to get the sixth!" Xiaozhi replied, with a strong sense of confidence in his tone.
Tianshui nodded with satisfaction: "That's perfect, I'm going to challenge the Crimson Gym too, let's go together."
Xiaozhi nodded excitedly, "Great! Let's go now!"
"Don't be anxious. You've just finished special training. Don't you want to go to the Elf Center to let your elves recuperate?" Tianshui reminded with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
Xiaozhi slapped his forehead and said, "Yeah, I almost forgot! Wait for me, I'll be out soon!"
Not long after, Xiaozhi hurried over from the Pokémon Center: "Okay, now my Pokémons are all restored! Let's go!"
Tianshui nodded, and the group started heading towards the Crimson Gym.
They walked along the path to the gym, crossing a shaky wooden bridge. Tianshui walked in front with a steady pace.
Xiaozhi followed closely behind, but he almost fell off the bridge after only a few steps. Fortunately, he managed to hold on to the wooden board. Mito and Xiaoxia behind him seemed much more relaxed and crossed the bridge smoothly.
After arriving at the Crimson Gym, Tianshui pushed open the door and strode in without hesitation.
"Tianshui, wait a minute, it's not a good idea to just barge in," Xiaozhi reminded worriedly.
Tianshui smiled, slowed down his pace, and shouted loudly: "Is anyone there? Let's challenge the gym!"
No one responded, so Tianshui continued to walk in, looking very confident. Xiaoxia and Xiaogang looked at each other and followed reluctantly.
As they entered a room, there was a sudden crisp sound and the floor began to shake slightly. Tianshui immediately activated Kagura's mind eye, quickly sensing the changes around him, and found that Xiaoxia had fallen into a trap.
"It seems there are a lot of traps here. The owner likes to do some tricks." Tianshui smiled slightly. Although he appreciated the design of the traps, he didn't plan to wait until the puzzle was solved. He kicked the wall suddenly, and the wall instantly cracked, revealing the trapped Xiaoxia.
"Xiaoxia, are you okay?" Mito hurried forward and asked with concern.
Xiaoxia dusted herself off and shook her head: "I'm fine, luckily I reacted quickly."
Tianshui said calmly: "This place is full of traps, you all should be careful and don't be careless."
As they were talking, a fur ball appeared in front of them. Xiaozhi immediately took out the Pokémon Book to check the fur ball's information. The Pokémon Book made a mechanical introduction sound. The fur ball looked at everyone, then turned and left.
"Is it asking us to follow it?" Xiaoxia guessed.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Xiaozhi said excitedly, chasing after him regardless of the danger. But after a few steps, he was suddenly struck to the ground by a bolt of lightning, gasping in pain.
Tianshui looked at Xiaozhi helplessly and shook his head: "Didn't I warn you long ago? There are many traps here, you can't be so reckless."
Xiaozhi touched the place where he was electrocuted and looked very annoyed: "I know, I will pay attention next time."
They continued to follow the ball, passing through a corridor, and finally came to a staircase. The ball's figure appeared on the stairs again. When Xiaozhi saw it, he rushed over without thinking, but crashed into a transparent wall and fell flat on his face.
Tianshui looked at Xiaozhi falling to the ground in a mess again, and couldn't help but shaking his head and sighing, as if he could also feel the pain at that moment.
"You didn't listen to the advice and now you're suffering." He teased as he walked over to help Xiaozhi up from the ground and gently brushed the dust off him.
Xiaozhi smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head, his eyes full of embarrassment and regret. Tianshui's eyes had already shifted to the transparent wall in front of him. He reached out and gently touched it, and instantly felt that this wall was not an ordinary obstacle, but was created by the skills of the elves.
With his brows slightly furrowed, Tianshui turned his wrist, gathered his strength and punched the wall hard. The wall did not crack, and was not even damaged at all, but just retreated a few centimeters.
"Interesting." He narrowed his eyes, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes, and planned to increase his efforts to break through the barrier.
However, just as he was about to attack, there was a commotion behind him. Xiao Gang walked forward, touched the wall, frowned and said, "The mechanism here is too complicated. Why don't we retreat first to avoid getting deeper and deeper into trouble?"
Xiaozhi was obviously already exhausted and wanted to retreat. He nodded and agreed: "Xiaogang is right. Let's retreat quickly."
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned and strode towards the passage. However, before he had taken a few steps, he hit an invisible wall again and fell heavily to the ground like a kite with a broken string.
“Bang!” This time the impact was particularly loud, causing Xiaozhi to see stars. He sat on the ground, covering his head with his hands, looking confused.
Tianshui tried to suppress his laughter, while Xiaoxia turned her head away, not wanting to see this embarrassing scene. Xiaogang walked over to help Xiaozhi up, patted the dust off him, touched the wall, and sighed: "It seems that both roads are blocked. We have to find another way out."
As everyone was looking around, Tianshui's eyes fell on the vent above the wall. He walked forward gently and observed for a moment. Suddenly, the whole wall collapsed, revealing the vast scene outside.
"Xiaozhi!" Everyone exclaimed in unison. They saw Xiaozhi being pushed to the edge of the cliff by the force, with his whole body hanging in the air vent, and there was a rushing river below.
Tianshui quickly rushed to the edge of the cliff, leaned over to check, and found that Xiaozhi was holding on to the vent tightly, and his whole body was shaky.
"Xiaozhi, hold on!" Xiaoxia hurriedly rummaged through her backpack, trying to find some tools to save Xiaozhi.
However, a trace of calmness flashed in Tianshui's eyes, and he whispered, "Let me do it."
He then summoned Pidgeot. "Pidgeot, go and rescue Xiaozhi."
Pidgeot quickly spread its wings and flew high, its sharp claws firmly grasped Xiaozhi's shoulders, and easily brought him back from danger. As soon as he landed, Xiaozhi was thrown to the ground by Pidgeot casually, with a messy face, which made everyone laugh.
Tianshui patted Pidgeot's feathers, praised it softly, and put it back into the Poké Ball. Just as he was about to scold it, a fur ball suddenly jumped out from behind another wall and disappeared quickly in the distance.
"Don't chase!" Tianshui said coldly, staring at the wall without blinking, alert to any changes around him.
Sure enough, just as he finished speaking, a volley of shurikens flew through the air, aiming directly at everyone. Tianshui's eyes flashed with a sharpness, and he stood in front without hesitation, quickly catching all the flying shurikens.
“Hahaha, there is actually someone so bold as to break in!” With a smug laugh, a woman in a pink ninja costume walked out from the darkness.
"Do you like my gift?" she asked with a smile, with a gleam of contempt in her eyes.
Tianshui weighed the shuriken in his hand and said calmly, "Since you threw it, I'll give it back to you."
As soon as he finished speaking, he swung his hand suddenly and threw the shuriken in his hand backhandedly with lightning speed and incredible accuracy.
The female ninja Aya was originally full of disdain, but when the shuriken approached, her smile froze instantly, and cold sweat oozed from her forehead. She quickly used her body skills to dodge, but Tianshui's shuriken had a strange trajectory, and they collided with each other in the air and changed direction, surrounding her.
"This... is impossible!" Aya's face was filled with horror. She never expected that she would be forced into a deadly situation.
At this moment, countless shurikens flew in the air again, accurately intercepting Tianshui's attack. A man wearing a blue ninja costume and a red scarf slowly walked out and blocked Aya.
"Aya, you are too reckless." There was a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.
Aya lowered her head in shame and said respectfully: "Brother, I was too careless."
The man bowed deeply to Tianshui and said apologetically, "I'm so sorry, it's all my sister's fault. I'm the owner of the Light Red Gym, Aju, and you're welcome to challenge me."
Tianshui was going to say a few more words, but the other party was sincere, so he didn't care anymore and responded calmly: "I am Tianshui, here to challenge the Light Red Gym."
Xiaozhi also hurried forward and said excitedly: "I am Xiaozhi from Pallet Town, and I am here to challenge you as well!"
Aju smiled and nodded: "Since you are all here to challenge, why don't we have a two-on-two elf battle, Aya and I against you two."
Tianshui smiled slightly, with the corners of his mouth raised: "No problem."
Although Xiaozhi was still a little confused, he gritted his teeth and agreed when he saw Tianshui was so confident. The two looked at each other, each sent out a Pokémon, and prepared for this fierce duel.
